The official free way to watch Coachella 2025 Weekend 1 online was the Coachella channel on YouTube. The livestream began Friday, April 11, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time (7:00 p.m. Eastern Time), with six simultaneous stage feeds, a vertical Quasar Stage feed in YouTube Shorts, and TV multiview support.
Important: Weekend 1 ran from April 11 through April 13, 2025, so the live broadcast has ended. This is a retrospective viewing guide, not a current livestream alert. The availability of a complete official 2025 replay is not guaranteed.
The official Coachella 2025 livestream was free on YouTube
For Weekend 1 of Coachella 2025, viewers could watch through the official Coachella YouTube channel without buying an in-person festival ticket. The researched announcements described the broadcast as exclusive to YouTube and did not identify a separate livestream paywall or require YouTube Premium, YouTube TV, or a paid Coachella pass.
The original broadcast window was:
| Event | Date | Start time |
|---|---|---|
| Coachella Weekend 1 livestream | Friday, April 11, 2025 | 4:00 p.m. PT / 7:00 p.m. ET |
| Final Weekend 1 broadcast day | Sunday, April 13, 2025 | Times varied by stage and performance |
All times in the original schedule were listed in Pacific Daylight Time. Set times could change, so the YouTube schedule and official Coachella listings were the best sources during the live weekend.

How viewers watched Weekend 1
On a phone, tablet, or computer
- Open YouTube in a browser or the YouTube app.
- Search for the official Coachella channel and select the 2025 livestream or scheduled stage feed.
- Choose the stage feed you want to watch. The broadcast was designed for mobile and desktop viewing.
Be careful with similarly named unofficial uploads. A legitimate stream should be hosted by the official Coachella YouTube presence rather than an unknown account promising a feed through a third-party website.
On a television
Viewers could use the YouTube app on a compatible smart TV or connected television device. YouTube’s multiview feature could show up to four live stages at the same time on a TV, which was useful when several artists were performing simultaneously.
The television experience depended on the YouTube app and the capabilities of the viewer’s TV or streaming device. The device itself was not a special Coachella requirement.
With the Coachella Livestream app
The official announcement also identified a dedicated Coachella Livestream app. Its purpose was to help viewers access the event coverage and plan what to watch across the weekend.

Through YouTube Shorts
DJ sets from the Quasar Stage were available through a vertical livestream in YouTube Shorts. This was a separate viewing format from the standard horizontal stage feeds and was particularly suited to phone viewing.
Which Coachella stages were streamed?
The 2025 broadcast listed feeds for six stages:
- Main Stage
- Outdoor Theater
- Sahara
- Mojave
- Gobi
- Yuma
The stage-by-stage coverage began at approximately 4:00 p.m. PDT on Friday and continued through Sunday. After headlining sets, that day’s performances were scheduled to repeat, giving viewers another opportunity to catch selected performances.
However, the livestream should not be treated as a guaranteed broadcast of every act on the full Coachella lineup. The published online schedule covered selected stages and performances. An artist appearing on the festival’s overall lineup did not necessarily mean that the artist’s complete set was streamed.

What happened to the 2025 livestream?
Coachella 2025 Weekend 1 ended on April 13, 2025. As of the authoritative research date, August 12, 2026, the official Coachella website was presenting 2026 festival information, including 2026 livestream and highlights material, rather than an active 2025 Weekend 1 broadcast.
Some individual performances or highlights may have remained available through official channels, but the available research does not establish that the complete three-day 2025 livestream remains online as a full replay. Do not assume that an old livestream page is still live simply because it appears in a search result.
What “free” meant for Coachella 2025
In this guide, “free” refers to watching the official online broadcast instead of paying for admission to the physical festival. The researched sources do not identify a separate fee for the official 2025 livestream.

That does not mean every way of watching YouTube is cost-free. A viewer could still incur ordinary internet, mobile-data, device, or television costs. Those were general viewing costs, not a Coachella livestream admission charge.
What not to use
- Unofficial streaming sites: They can be unsafe, unstable, misleading, or unauthorized.
- Pirated rebroadcasts: These are not a legitimate substitute for the official Coachella channel.
- Claims that every set was streamed: The online schedule covered selected stages and acts, not necessarily the entire festival lineup.
- Old “watch live” pages: A page associated with the 2025 event does not prove that the broadcast or a complete replay is still available.
Quick answer
If you were watching during April 11–13, 2025, the correct route was the official Coachella channel on YouTube, beginning at 4:00 p.m. PT each broadcast day. You could watch on a phone, tablet, computer, or compatible TV; use up to four-stage multiview on TV; use the Coachella Livestream app for planning; and find the Quasar vertical feed through YouTube Shorts.
Because Weekend 1 is over, there is no current 2025 live stream to join. For present-day Coachella coverage, check the official Coachella website and its current-year YouTube materials rather than relying on archived 2025 listings.

Did I need YouTube Premium or YouTube TV?
The researched 2025 announcements did not say that YouTube Premium or YouTube TV was required. They described the official Coachella livestream as available on YouTube, with no separate livestream paywall identified.
Was every Coachella 2025 performance streamed?
No such promise should be made. The published broadcast schedule covered selected stages and acts, so not every performer or every festival set was necessarily available online.
Could I watch more than one stage at once?
Yes. YouTube multiview could display up to four live stages simultaneously on a compatible TV through the YouTube app. The broadcast also offered six individual stage feeds.
Where was the Quasar Stage livestream?
The researched 2025 coverage identified a vertical Quasar Stage livestream through YouTube Shorts.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: Coachella 2025 Weekend 1 was officially livestreamed for free on YouTube from April 11–13, 2025. The broadcast offered six stage feeds, TV multiview, a Coachella Livestream app, and a vertical Quasar feed in YouTube Shorts—but the live event has ended, and a complete replay should not be assumed to remain available.
