So you can use its documented workflow to produce a live music stream, but first confirm directly with StreamVoodoo whether it supports the continuous prerecorded setup you need. What StreamVoodoo documents—and what it does not
StreamVoodoo presents its music service as a remote studio for recording or playing tracks. Its product page lists 1080p video feeds, 320kbps audio feeds, real-time communication for up to five musicians, browser access on desktop or mobile, and OBS integration for streaming out or recording locally. It also describes single- or multi-camera streaming and offers a demo/contact route. These published features are aimed at remote music production; they do not establish that StreamVoodoo can run an unattended, prerecorded 24/7 loop. StreamVoodoo’s music page
Before building your workflow around StreamVoodoo, ask whether it can accept your prerecorded Tamil devotional videos, play them continuously without an operator, keep one YouTube broadcast active around the clock, and recover if the feed or connection fails. Its public page does not answer those questions. Do not assume OBS integration alone provides playlist looping or unattended recovery.
StreamVoodoo’s product page describes its service this way: “Stream Voodoo puts professional recording and streaming capabilities that were formerly limited to large media conglomerates, broadcasters, and enterprise-level companies into the hands of musicians and artists that can stream or record remotely with studio-quality sound and almost no latency.” This is the vendor’s promotional statement, not independent performance evidence. Choose the right way to keep the stream running
The key distinction is whether you are broadcasting a live performance or replaying prepared recordings. YouTube’s encoder setup connects an incoming feed to a broadcast; it does not itself create a repeating video playlist.

If the point is an original live devotional singing or instrument performance, a microphone may be useful. It is not needed simply to replay existing recordings.

Prepare YouTube access and the broadcast
- Check eligibility before scheduling. YouTube says the channel must be verified, must have had no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days, and the streamer must be at least 16 years old. See YouTube’s live-streaming access requirements.
- Create or select the broadcast. In YouTube Studio, choose Create → Go Live, use the Stream workflow, and create or select the broadcast. Follow the current labels shown in your Studio account. YouTube encoder streaming help
- Copy the connection details into the encoder. Use YouTube’s Live server URL and stream key in the encoder’s stream settings. Treat the key like a password: do not show it in public screenshots, video, or chat. If you believe it has been exposed, replace it in YouTube Studio and update the encoder.
- Start sending the feed and inspect it. Start the encoder or production feed, wait for the preview in Live Control Room, and check picture and audio before selecting Go live. A successful encoder connection is not a substitute for checking the preview.
- Decide how playback and recovery will work. For an existing video playlist, verify that your chosen encoder or service actually repeats it, and decide who or what will detect a failed feed. YouTube’s connection instructions do not create the playlist or its looping behavior.
Clear the rights to every recording and visual
Before streaming, identify the exact material in each video: the composition and arrangement, the performance, the sound recording, and any images or footage. Confirm that your permissions cover live streaming on YouTube and any archive or replay you intend to make available, in the relevant territories. YouTube’s live-stream terms put the responsibility on the provider to hold the necessary rights, including music licensing rights involving artists, record labels, publishers, and other royalty participants, as well as applicable territorial licensing, registration, consent, or approval. A devotional subject, Tamil lyrics, an old composition, or a video that is freely viewable online does not by itself establish permission for a particular recording. Rights depend on the specific recording and material used; if you cannot establish the necessary permissions, do not include that item in the stream.

Plan for archives and monetization separately
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Its encoder help page does not promise automatic archiving for a longer stream, so do not rely on a 24/7 watch page as a guaranteed complete replay. Troubleshoot common setup problems
- You cannot start a live broadcast: Check channel verification, the prior-90-day restriction status, and the age requirement in YouTube’s live-streaming access information. YouTube access requirements
- YouTube receives no encoder feed: Recheck that the server URL and stream key in the encoder match the broadcast selected in Studio, then restart the feed and wait for the Live Control Room preview. Keep the key private.
- The feed is live but the video does not repeat: YouTube’s encoder connection does not provide looping. Check the playback/playlist feature of the encoder or service you are using; StreamVoodoo’s public music page does not document unattended prerecorded looping. StreamVoodoo music page
- The stream stops and does not resume: Identify whether the break came from the source playback, encoder, network, or streaming service. The public StreamVoodoo page does not establish automatic recovery for this use, so confirm its behavior before relying on it for a continuous broadcast.
- You need a complete replay but the stream ran all day: YouTube’s cited archive guidance covers streams under 12 hours, not a guaranteed 24-hour archive.
