You can stream an animated fireplace video continuously to YouTube Live by running an encoder on a server and sending its output to a YouTube broadcast. First confirm your channel is eligible, then configure the broadcast, protect its stream key, test the encoder and monitor the result. A 24/7 setup is an operating goal, not a guarantee of uninterrupted streaming or indefinite archive availability.

What you need before you start

  • A YouTube channel that is verified and has no live-stream restrictions in the preceding 90 days. YouTube Help lists both conditions for live streaming: YouTube live streaming tips.
  • A server you can administer, with the fireplace video, compatible encoder software, and enough network capacity to send the selected stream reliably. YouTube’s guidance does not provide a server-sizing formula for a particular video or encoder; test your actual setup.
  • A video and audio track licensed for YouTube live distribution and any resulting archive. A license for a file or music subscription may not cover continuous public streaming; check its terms.
  • Access to YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room, where you configure the broadcast and obtain the encoder’s stream URL and key.

Google’s API documentation explicitly describes a channel broadcasting a 24/7 feed, so a long-running feed is a recognized use case. That example does not promise that a particular broadcast will remain uninterrupted or that its archive will be available indefinitely: YouTube Live Streaming API: Understanding Broadcasts and Streams.

Set up the YouTube broadcast

  1. Check live access. Confirm that the channel is verified and has had no live-stream restrictions in the past 90 days. If it does not meet those requirements, resolve eligibility before configuring the server.
  2. Open Live Control Room. In YouTube Studio, create or configure a live stream using the encoder workflow. Set the title, description, visibility and other broadcast details for the fireplace program.
  3. Copy the ingest details. Get the stream URL and stream key shown for the broadcast. YouTube describes the key as the stream’s password and address, so store it securely and do not publish or share it. If it is exposed, reset it in YouTube and update the encoder. See Manage live stream settings.
  4. Choose how to manage recurring broadcasts, if using the API. YouTube’s API distinguishes the event (liveBroadcast) from its incoming feed (liveStream). Its guide documents reusing a stream for broadcasts at different times, creating a separate stream for each broadcast, and using one stream for a 24/7 feed alongside a separate overlapping broadcast. Choose based on whether you need one continuous program or separately managed events; this API model is optional for a basic encoder setup.

Configure the server encoder

Use YouTube’s current encoder settings for your chosen resolution and frame rate rather than treating one bitrate as universal. YouTube recommends RTMPS, a secure extension of RTMP. Its encoder guidance includes H.264 video, constant bitrate (CBR), a recommended two-second keyframe interval (not more than four seconds), and AAC or MP3 audio. Check the current official table before setting the bitrate: Choose live encoder settings, bitrates, and resolutions.

  1. Install and configure an encoder on the server that can read the fireplace video and send a live feed to YouTube. The exact software and command depend on your operating system, encoder and source file; the sources here do not test or prescribe a particular FFmpeg command.
  2. Set the encoder’s destination to YouTube’s stream URL and enter the matching stream key. Keep the key out of public scripts, logs, screenshots and repositories.
  3. Set the output resolution and frame rate to a mode your source and server can sustain. Apply YouTube’s corresponding bitrate guidance, H.264, CBR, keyframe interval and supported audio settings.
  4. Make the video repeat using the encoder’s loop or playlist function. Confirm that the source does in fact restart cleanly; a video file ending does not itself guarantee that the encoder will keep sending a valid feed.
  5. Configure the server and encoder to start after a restart, if your environment supports that, and test what happens when the process or network connection drops. YouTube’s cited guidance does not establish a reconnection guarantee for your chosen encoder or server.

Preview, go live and check the result

  1. Start the encoder and wait for the incoming feed to appear in Live Control Room.
  2. Use the preview to check that the fireplace animation is moving, the image is correctly framed, and any intended audio is audible and not clipped.
  3. Before going public, test the watch page and confirm viewers can access it on the devices you care about, including mobile. Check visibility and other broadcast settings.
  4. Start the broadcast from the control room or encoder workflow as prompted, then monitor video, audio and stream health. YouTube’s encoder tips advise testing before going live and monitoring the stream.
  5. Check the stream periodically after launch. A server process running is not proof that YouTube is receiving a healthy feed or that viewers can watch it.

Rights and YouTube policy for fireplace loops

You are responsible for having the rights required to distribute both the visuals and sound. YouTube’s livestream terms say the provider must have the necessary worldwide rights for Live Content, including music licensing rights, and must comply with Community Guidelines and applicable law. Read Livestream terms and conditions and verify that your specific animation and soundtrack licenses cover continuous live distribution and any archive.

  • 【AMD Ryzen 7330U】 – The Efficiency-Tuned Powerhouse,AMD Ryzen 7330U (Zen 3, SMT, 4C/8T) in KAMRUI P2 mini PC crushes rivals: Intel i3-10110U (2C/4T, 2019) and N95 (4 efficiency cores, no HT, single-channel memory). Vs predecessor Ryzen 3 4300U (4C/4T): ~50% faster single-core, ~46% multi-core, 8MB L3 cache (vs 4MB). • 【AMD Radeon Graphics】– Triple 4K Vision & Fluidity,The integrated Radeon Graphics (based on the modern Vega architecture with 6 CUs) is a visual beast, outclassing the iGPU offerings from both AMD's prior generation and Intel. The Intel UHD Graphics (i3-10110U/N95) struggles with single-channel memory and low execution units, crippling its gaming performance and barely handling basic 4K video without stuttering. While the older Radeon Vega 5 (4300U) was decent, our 7330U's Radeon Graphics (6 CUs) pushes the boundaries, delivering higher graphics clock speeds (up to 1.8GHz) and significantly better rendering capabilities. It can drive triple 4K@60Hz displays with zero lag, edit photos/videos.
  • 【Generous Storage & Easy Expansion】The KAMRUI Pinova P2 mini desktop computers comes with 16GB LPDDR4X RAM (higher frequency, lower power) for buttery‑smooth multitasking, and a 256GB M.2 SSD for blazing fast boot‑up, quick file transfers, and no more long loading screens. You’ll have all the space you need for projects, media, and important data.
  • 【Triple 4K Display Output】The KAMRUI Pinova P2 mini desktop pc is equipped with HDMI 2.0 ×1 + DP 1.4 ×1 + USB 3.2 Gen2 Type‑C ×1 (with DP Alt Mode), enabling simultaneous triple 4K@60Hz output. Whether for home entertainment, remote work, or conference room presentations, it delivers an immersive visual experience. Two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type‑A ports (up to 10Gbps – 21x faster than USB 2.0) make data transfers and device expansion a breeze.
  • 【USB 3.2 Gen2 Type‑C: 10Gbps & Versatile Connectivity】The USB 3.2 Gen2 Type‑C port on the KAMRUI P2 small pc supports 10Gbps data transfer speeds and can also output DisplayPort 1.4 video. Together with Gigabit LAN, Wi‑Fi, and Bluetooth, you get a fast, flexible, and productive connected environment – wired or wireless.

A privacy choice or Content ID and rights-policy setting in Live Control Room does not grant permission to use someone else’s material. Do not assume that “free” stock footage, a music subscription, or a video that is widely reused automatically permits a continuous public stream.

What can interrupt a 24/7 setup

The official guidance supports the workflow, but does not establish a maximum uninterrupted broadcast duration, archive limits for continuous feeds, a guarantee against outages, or the hardware and bandwidth needed for an unspecified animation and encoder. Treat continuous availability as something to validate and operate, not a platform guarantee.

Common problems and fixes

Symptom What to check Practical response
No incoming feed in Live Control Room Stream URL, key, encoder connection and channel live eligibility. Re-enter the matching URL and key, check the encoder’s connection status, and confirm the channel meets YouTube’s live requirements.
YouTube reports unstable or poor stream health Whether the server’s actual upload capacity can sustain the selected output and whether encoder settings match YouTube’s current table. Test a lower supported output mode if needed, then set the bitrate using the current resolution-specific guidance. Do not assume a single bitrate suits every server.
Video stops at the end of the file Whether looping or playlist playback is enabled and whether the encoder continues sending after the source ends. Configure looping in the encoder and test a complete source-file cycle before the public broadcast.
Image or audio is wrong in preview Source playback, framing, selected output mode, audio track and encoder format. Correct the source or encoder settings and recheck preview before starting or continuing a public stream.
Broadcast drops or does not resume after an interruption Server process status, network status, encoder behavior and current YouTube state. Restore the feed and verify it in Live Control Room. Test restart and recovery behavior in advance; the cited YouTube pages do not guarantee automatic recovery for a particular setup.
Copyright or rights issue Whether the actual visual and audio licenses cover worldwide live distribution and any archive. Replace or clear material unless you can establish the necessary rights. Visibility and Content ID settings are not a substitute for permission.
