To stream a recorded real estate webinar continuously on YouTube Live, send the recording through an encoder and use playback software or a cloud playout service that can keep feeding the video. YouTube does not turn an uploaded file into a looping live stream by itself. Create or schedule a live event in YouTube Studio, connect the encoder with your stream URL and key, test the whole path, then monitor playback and audio.
Decide whether a continuous live stream fits the webinar
A YouTube Live broadcast sends viewers into the recording at its current point; it is not an on-demand replay link, and a viewer joining later may not be able to start at the beginning. If viewers need to choose their own start time, publish a separate on-demand replay. If the goal is an always-available live-style feed, a continuous stream can work. YouTube’s DVR setting can let viewers pause, rewind, and resume during a live stream.
A scheduled event can provide an upcoming watch page for promotion and reminders. Choose a fixed scheduled event when attendees should gather at a particular time; choose a continuing feed when availability matters more than a shared start time.
Check rights and channel eligibility first
Clear every element in the recording
Confirm that you have permission to rebroadcast the webinar recording and every included element you do not own or have licensed for this use. Check guest contributions, music, slides, third-party clips, and images. YouTube’s live terms place responsibility on the provider to hold the necessary rights for live content, including music licensing rights: YouTube Terms of Service.

Verify live-stream access
YouTube says live streaming requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days. First-time enablement may take up to 24 hours, so confirm access before announcing the event: YouTube Help: Create a live stream with an encoder.
Prepare the webinar replay
Use the finished video file, including the intended opening, closing, branding, captions, and audio. Watch the beginning and end carefully if the file will repeat: an abrupt ending or a long pause can be especially noticeable between loops. Keep a separate master recording. File-format requirements and looping controls vary by encoder, so check the current documentation for the software or service you choose.

- Check that the recording and its elements are cleared for a live rebroadcast.
- Decide whether to repeat one file or schedule a playlist, and whether the stream should run continuously or only during planned hours.
Create the YouTube Live event and connect an encoder
- Open YouTube Studio and enter the Live Control Room. Create a stream or schedule one for later. Scheduling gives you an upcoming watch page that you can share in advance.
- Copy the stream URL and stream key. YouTube’s encoder workflow uses these to connect the encoder to the event. Treat the stream key like a password: anyone with access to it may be able to send content to your channel.
- Enter the connection details in your encoder. Choose the option for a YouTube stream or custom RTMP connection as appropriate for the encoder, then enter the URL and key in its streaming settings.
- Load the replay in a playback setup that can keep it running. Use encoder software with verified repeat or playlist playback, or a service designed for continuous prerecorded-video playout. Do not assume YouTube will loop the uploaded video.
- Start the encoder and check the Live Control Room preview. Confirm that the intended event is receiving the right picture and sound before directing viewers to the watch page. YouTube’s setup guidance is at YouTube Help: Set up your encoder for live streaming.
Set encoder output to match the source and connection
YouTube’s general encoder guidance recommends H.264 video, constant bitrate (CBR), and a two-second keyframe interval; the interval should not exceed four seconds. Its bitrate recommendations vary by resolution and frame rate, so select the value for your chosen output rather than automatically choosing the highest quality. Match the output to the source and to an upload connection that can sustain it. YouTube transcodes incoming streams into playback formats, so sending a higher setting does not guarantee a better viewer experience. Check the current resolution and frame-rate table in YouTube Help: Encoder settings, bitrates, and resolutions.
There is no single bitrate or resolution that suits every webinar: a mostly static slide presentation and a recording with moving property footage have different demands. Prioritize stable delivery and a clear, intelligible audio track. Use the encoder’s current documentation for any additional settings needed to enable repeat playback.

Test before going live and monitor the stream
- Set up well ahead of the intended start. YouTube advises starting the encoder at least 15 minutes before a scheduled event.
- Review the Live Control Room preview. Confirm the correct recording, audio, and event are being sent.
- Open the watch page as a viewer. Check that the event is reachable and that access works on the devices your audience is likely to use.
- Test representative sections. Include both speech and any property footage or other moving visuals; listen for missing, distorted, or out-of-sync audio.
- Monitor during the broadcast. Watch stream health and check the picture and sound, particularly after playback begins repeating or a connection changes.
YouTube’s encoder guidance recommends configuring the encoder in advance, checking the preview, and monitoring audio and video: YouTube Help: Encoder settings, bitrates, and resolutions.
Choose a playback method for continuous streaming
- StreamNeo — cloud playback for an always-on YouTube channel. Upload the replay, add your YouTube stream key, and go live; it loops from the cloud, at any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps for one flat price per slot, with the first day free.
- Another cloud playout service. YouTube’s encoder directory lists Gyre for 24/7 streams of prerecorded video. Check its current capabilities, pricing, and reliability directly before choosing it: YouTube for Creators: Live streaming encoder setup.
- A computer-based encoder. YouTube supports encoder software, but verify in that software’s current documentation that it can repeat a file or playlist and run unattended. A continuous stream needs a source that continues feeding the encoder.
- Hardware encoder. YouTube names AJA HELO Plus as a hardware example with prerecorded-media capability. It is an option, not a requirement for a single webinar replay: YouTube for Creators: Live streaming encoder setup.
Or let it run in the cloud
StreamNeo is for prerecorded video on YouTube: upload the replay, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home; it streams the file as uploaded up to 4K 60fps at one price per slot, and automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly pricing is $9.99 per month. See StreamNeo or its plans. Start your free day with StreamNeo.

Plan for DVR, archives, and monetization
Do not use a long live stream as your only copy
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Its cited guidance does not promise a complete archive for broadcasts longer than 12 hours. Keep a separate master recording or plan shorter broadcasts if the archive matters: YouTube Help: Archive live streams.
Set expectations about ads
Monetization features depend on channel eligibility and settings. Ads may be enabled for eligible streams, but ad slots are not guaranteed to serve. Do not plan around a particular ad outcome: YouTube Help: Monetize your live stream.

Troubleshoot common problems
- The event does not receive a signal: Check that the encoder is running and that the stream URL and key match the intended YouTube event. If the key may have been exposed, replace it in YouTube Studio and update the encoder.
- The video ends instead of repeating: The encoder or playout service may not have repeat playback enabled, or the selected setup may not support it. Confirm looping or playlist behavior in its current documentation; YouTube itself does not loop the upload.
- Preview appears, but viewers cannot find the stream: Confirm that you are checking the correct scheduled event and that its watch page is available. Test the page in a viewer session before sharing it.
- Picture or audio quality is poor: Check the source file, encoder output, and upload connection. Use YouTube’s recommended settings for the selected resolution and frame rate, and test representative material before the event.
- Live streaming is unavailable: Check channel verification and restrictions. If live streaming was just enabled for the first time, YouTube says activation may take up to 24 hours.
- The archive is incomplete or missing after a long broadcast: YouTube’s automatic archive guidance applies to streams under 12 hours; it does not promise a complete archive for longer streams. Preserve the original file independently.
