Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteTo keep a Malayalam song playlist running on YouTube Live, you need two things: permission to broadcast every recording and composition, and an encoder or cloud service that can play the playlist as a continuous video-and-audio feed. Create an encoder stream in YouTube Studio, connect it using the stream URL and private stream key, test playback and reconnection, then start the live event. YouTube supplies the live-stream workflow; it does not provide a playlist-looping player.
Before you stream: clear the music rights
Make sure you have the rights needed to livestream every recording and composition in the playlist in the territories where the stream will be available. YouTube’s Livestream terms and conditions make the provider responsible for necessary rights, including music rights involving artists, record labels, publishers and other royalty participants.
A personal subscription to a music service, or the fact that a song is available on YouTube, does not establish that you can rebroadcast it in a livestream. Get permission for the intended live use from the relevant rights owners.
Ask about Content ID allowlisting
YouTube scans live streams for matches to third-party content. Its live copyright guidance warns that streams can be interrupted even when a creator has licensed the content. If you have permission, ask the rights owner to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. Allowlisting does not replace the need for permission.

- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Check that your channel can go live
- Verify your YouTube channel and confirm that it has no live-streaming restrictions during the previous 90 days. These are YouTube’s stated eligibility checks in its live-streaming instructions.
- If this is your first time enabling live streaming, allow up to 24 hours for activation.
- Choose an unlisted or private test stream before scheduling a public broadcast.
Set up a continuous playlist with an encoder
The steps below use YouTube’s general encoder workflow. The playlist player is a separate part of the setup: YouTube does not specify a particular application for looping songs or restarting playback after a failure. Use an encoder/player combination that can supply both video and audio continuously, and rehearse its playback and recovery behavior.
- Prepare the playlist and visuals. Arrange the songs in the intended order in a player that supports continuous playback or looping. The encoder needs a video feed as well as audio, even if the visual is a still image or a looping graphic. Confirm that you have permission for any artwork or other visual material too.
- Create an encoder stream. In YouTube Studio, select Go Live and create or schedule a stream using the encoder workflow. Follow the current prompts in YouTube’s Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder guide.
- Connect the encoder. Copy the stream URL and stream key shown in the Live Control Room into the encoder’s streaming settings. Treat the key like a password: anyone who gets it may be able to send a feed to your channel. Do not publish it or include it in a screenshot.
- Set and test the stream output. Choose settings the encoder and your actual upload connection can sustain. YouTube lists RTMP/RTMPS as protocol options and AAC or MP3 audio for RTMP/RTMPS. Its recommended stereo audio settings include a 44.1 kHz sample rate and a 128 Kbps audio bitrate. Consult YouTube’s encoder settings, bitrates and resolutions for its current recommendations for video output; do not assume a particular resolution or bitrate will work reliably on your connection.
- Start the encoder and inspect the preview. Wait for the feed to appear in the Live Control Room. Check that the songs are in order, the audio is clear and continuous, and the video feed is present. Start the event in YouTube if the selected workflow requires a separate action after the encoder connects.
- Monitor the test before making the stream public. Check stream health, upload bandwidth, audio and video, and whether the player continues or reconnects as expected. YouTube’s streaming tips recommend testing under conditions similar to the real broadcast and allowing upload-bandwidth headroom.
- End the event cleanly. End the stream from YouTube and stop the encoder when finished. YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived; do not rely on that rule as a substitute for checking your stream and archive.
Choose settings for steady music playback
For a playlist with little or no interaction, uninterrupted audio and a stable connection are usually more important than minimizing delay. YouTube notes that lower latency can increase buffering. Use its published encoder guidance as a starting point, then test the exact playlist, visual feed, encoder and connection you plan to use.

- Protocol and audio: RTMP/RTMPS are YouTube-listed options; AAC or MP3 audio is supported for RTMP/RTMPS. For stereo audio, YouTube recommends 44.1 kHz and 128 Kbps.
- Video: Send a video feed even if it is only a still or looping visual. Select a resolution and bitrate from YouTube’s current recommendations that your encoder and upload connection can sustain.
- Latency: A music-only stream may not need the lowest possible latency. Prioritize stable playback and test for buffering before choosing a lower-latency mode.
- Recovery: Check separately whether your player resumes the playlist and whether your encoder reconnects after a dropped connection. YouTube’s encoder setup guide does not prescribe automatic playlist restart or unattended recovery.
Common problems and what to check
- No preview appears in Live Control Room: Confirm the encoder is running and that the stream URL and key were copied correctly. Recheck the key in YouTube Studio rather than exposing it publicly.
- The stream connects but has no picture: The encoder must send video as well as audio. Check the selected video source, even if the intended image is static.
- Audio cuts out or buffers: Test the same playlist under comparable conditions, check the encoder’s audio output and monitor upload bandwidth. Reduce settings to a level your connection can sustain and leave bandwidth headroom.
- The playlist stops or does not repeat: Check the player’s loop and playlist settings. YouTube’s live workflow does not itself loop songs; verify that the player continues after the last track and after a restart.
- The stream is interrupted over a song: Check YouTube’s copyright notifications and contact the relevant rights owner. A licence alone may not prevent a live interruption if the channel has not been added to the owner’s Content ID allowlist.
- Live streaming is unavailable: Check channel verification, any live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days, and whether first-time activation is still pending.
