To stream a looping video to YouTube Live with XSplit Broadcaster, add the local clip as a Video File source, set up its playback in the source properties, configure XSplit’s YouTube broadcast output, then confirm the preview and stream health in YouTube Live Control Room before treating the event as public. For several clips, use XSplit’s Video Playlist source and test the transitions first.
Before you set up XSplit: check YouTube Live access
YouTube’s live-stream guidance says a channel must be verified, have no live-stream restriction in the preceding 90 days, and meet the minimum age requirement of 16. If live streaming has not previously been enabled for the channel, first-time activation can take up to 24 hours. Check access in YouTube Studio before building the broadcast in XSplit. Add a video source in XSplit Broadcaster

Open XSplit Broadcaster and select or create the scene you want to use.

Choose Add Source > Video File, then browse to and select the local video. XSplit lists common media formats including MP4, FLV, WEBM, and MP3. XSplit: Adding a media source in XSplit Broadcaster

Right-click the source and open its properties to reach the Playback controls. Preview the video and check its framing and sound before proceeding.
Choose how the video repeats
One clip
In the video source’s Playback controls, look for the loop or repeat behavior available in your installed XSplit version. XSplit’s media-source guidance confirms playback controls, but does not establish a current exact label for a single-video repeat setting. Do not assume a particular checkbox name: verify the setting in your own version and watch the clip reach its end and restart in preview.
Several clips
For a sequence, add XSplit’s Video Playlist source and configure the playlist for continuous playback. XSplit describes this source as supporting continuous playback and other playback options. Preview the transitions between files, including the transition from the final clip back to the first, before going live. XSplit Broadcaster support

Configure XSplit’s YouTube output

Open XSplit’s Broadcast menu and select or create the YouTube output. Follow any account authorization and setup prompts.

Start the output setup to open the broadcast details. Enter the title, description, tags, category, and privacy setting appropriate to the event.

If you are streaming a scheduled event, create it in YouTube Studio first; XSplit’s guide says scheduled events must already exist there.

Set quality, test, and go live
Choose the output resolution and bitrate to suit the video and your real upload capacity. YouTube’s encoder guidance recommends RTMPS ingestion and constant bitrate (CBR); it also says the stream’s total bitrate must fit within available upload bandwidth and advises leaving upload headroom. Use YouTube’s current encoder settings table rather than treating one bitrate as suitable for every resolution or connection. YouTube: Choose live encoder settings, bitrates, and resolutions

Check the preview, audio, and stream-health messages before starting or publicizing the event. YouTube’s guidance is direct: “Make sure to test before you start your live stream.”

Monitor stream health and messages while the broadcast is running. If the health display reports a problem, resolve it before relying on the stream to continue unattended.
Protect the rights to everything in the loop
Repeating a file does not change your responsibility for its contents. YouTube says the provider must have the necessary rights to use live content on Google services, including applicable music rights involving artists, record labels, publishers, and other rights participants. Live content must also comply with Community Guidelines and applicable laws. Confirm that your permissions cover both the live broadcast and any archive. YouTube Terms of Service

End the broadcast and check its archive
When the event is finished, stop the YouTube stream and then stop the XSplit output. YouTube’s encoder guidance says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Check the resulting archive and its visibility settings if you want viewers to replay it. YouTube encoder settings and archiving guidance
