To run a 24/7 soft-wind-and-meadow ambience livestream on YouTube, prepare footage and audio you have permission to stream, use an encoder or cloud looping workflow that can keep the feed running, and connect it to YouTube Live Control Room with your stream URL and key. Test it as an unlisted stream first: confirm the picture and sound loop cleanly, the connection is stable, and Live Control Room reports healthy video and audio. YouTube supports encoder-based livestreaming and documents a 24/7 feed example, but it does not prescribe a particular looping setup.
Before you set up the livestream
Confirm that the channel can go live
YouTube says a channel must be verified and have no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days. It also says livestreamers must be at least 16. Check eligibility and enable livestreaming ahead of your planned launch; do not leave channel activation until the last minute. YouTube’s live streaming setup guidance explains the requirements.
Secure rights to both picture and sound
Use meadow footage and wind audio you created or have licensed. Confirm that the permission covers continuous livestreaming and, if you want a replay, archiving and replay use. A quiet nature recording is not automatically free to use just because it is ambient or widely shared.
Prepare a loop that feels continuous
Choose a video and audio track that can repeat without an abrupt cut, silence, or sudden change in volume. The reviewed YouTube guidance does not explain how to make a media loop; that capability depends on the encoder or playback workflow you choose. Test the loop in advance, including the point where each file returns to its beginning.

- 【USB 3.2 Gen2 Type‑C: 10Gbps & Versatile Connectivity】The USB 3.2 Gen2 Type‑C port on the KAMRUI P2 small pc supports 10Gbps data transfer speeds and can also output DisplayPort 1.4 video. Together with Gigabit LAN, Wi‑Fi, and Bluetooth, you get a fast, flexible, and productive connected environment – wired or wireless.
Configure YouTube and your encoder
- Open YouTube Live Control Room. Create or select the livestream, then copy its server URL and stream key into your encoder. The key is a credential: keep it private, and do not include it in a public screenshot, video, or chat. See YouTube’s encoder livestream instructions.
- Set the video and audio output. YouTube recommends RTMPS where supported. Its general encoder guidance lists H.264, H.265 (HEVC), and AV1 for RTMP/RTMPS, frame rates up to 60 fps, and CBR. For stereo audio, its advanced settings recommend 44.1 kHz and 128 kbps. Check that your chosen encoder supports the format you select. YouTube’s recommended encoder settings has the current guidance.
- Choose bitrate and keyframes for your target quality. YouTube recommends a two-second keyframe interval and says not to exceed four seconds. For H.264 at 1080p and 30 fps, the recommended bitrate is 5 Mbps. That is a platform recommendation, not a guarantee that a particular computer or internet connection can sustain a nonstop feed. Use YouTube’s settings table for other resolutions and frame rates, and test your actual upload connection before launch.
- Start with an unlisted test. Start the encoder, wait for the preview in Live Control Room, and inspect both image and sound. Let the test run long enough to check loop boundaries and connection behavior; review the stream-health messages rather than relying only on the encoder’s local preview.
- Make the stream public when it is ready. Once the preview and stream health look right, confirm the livestream’s visibility and start the public broadcast in the workflow shown by Live Control Room. Keep monitoring audio, video, and stream health during the broadcast.
Keep the stream running around the clock
With a do-it-yourself encoder setup, the source files must keep playing, the encoder must remain active, and the internet connection must continue delivering the feed. Arrange human or automated monitoring and a recovery plan for a failed encoder or connection. The YouTube sources cited here recommend testing and monitoring but do not prescribe a particular watchdog, restart tool, or automatic recovery method.
YouTube’s Live Streaming API documentation describes a channel broadcasting a 24/7 live feed, so continuous livestreaming is a supported use case. That does not remove the need to keep the chosen feed and connection operating. YouTube Live Streaming API documentation.

Plan for the livestream replay
YouTube’s encoder instructions say streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. They do not establish that one continuous stream longer than 12 hours will be preserved in full, so do not rely on a full archive for a broadcast that exceeds that duration. Decide whether a replay matters before going live and check YouTube’s current archiving guidance for your intended stream length. YouTube’s encoder livestream instructions.
Troubleshoot common problems
- YouTube does not receive a signal: Check that the encoder has the correct server URL and stream key, and that the key has not been exposed or replaced. Confirm the encoder is actually sending and that Live Control Room is open to the intended stream.
- The preview stutters or stream health reports trouble: Test the upload connection at the planned output settings. YouTube advises choosing quality based on a reliable upload connection; reduce output demands if the connection cannot sustain them, then repeat an unlisted test.
- The image or audio jumps at the loop point: Adjust or replace the source files or configure the chosen playback workflow to loop more cleanly. YouTube does not specify the loop controls; consult the encoder or playback tool’s own instructions and verify the result in a test.
- The stream ends after an interruption: Check the encoder, source playback, and internet connection, then restart the feed using the current stream details. For a true 24/7 operation, monitor for interruptions and have a recovery procedure; the cited YouTube materials do not guarantee automatic reconnection.
- You cannot find a complete replay: Check the stream duration. YouTube’s cited guidance confirms automatic archiving for streams under 12 hours, but not full preservation of a single longer broadcast.
