To stream a Hindi bhajan playlist continuously on YouTube, play the recordings through a looping playout source and send that output to YouTube with an encoder. YouTube Studio is where you create and control the live stream; it does not turn an ordinary YouTube playlist into a live broadcast by itself. You can run the playout on a computer, a dedicated encoder, or a cloud service.
Before you prepare the playlist, check channel eligibility
Make sure the channel is verified and has had no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. If this is the first time the channel is going live, enabling live streaming can take up to 24 hours. Start activation well before the planned broadcast.
Choose recordings and visuals you are authorized to broadcast. A devotional subject or traditional composition does not automatically clear a particular performance or recording for use.
Choose how the bhajans will play continuously
You need a playout source that can repeat your selected media and an encoder or streaming service that sends its output to YouTube. YouTube describes encoders as software applications or standalone hardware, and its encoder directory also lists cloud services for continuous prerecorded-video streaming. Confirm that your chosen option supports looping, your audio and video formats, and the operating behavior you need.

These options do not change the rights requirements: YouTube scans live streams for third-party content whichever playout method you use.
Prepare the playlist and broadcast
1. Organize and test your media
Gather the bhajan audio or videos you plan to play. Decide whether the broadcast will use full video tracks, a static devotional image with audio, or another visual format supported by your playout tool. Check that tracks play in the intended order and that the loop behaves as expected. A YouTube playlist page is not a substitute for a playout source feeding an encoder.

2. Create or schedule the stream in YouTube Studio
- In YouTube Studio, select Create → Go Live to open Live Control Room.
- On the Stream tab, create a stream or load prior stream settings. YouTube may reload prior settings, including the stream key; treat that key as confidential.
- For a scheduled broadcast, use Manage → Schedule stream and set up the event there. For an immediate broadcast, use the Live Control Room stream workflow.
3. Connect the encoder to YouTube
If your encoder offers YouTube sign-in or selection, follow its connection flow. Otherwise, copy the server or stream URL and stream key shown in Live Control Room into the encoder’s stream settings. Do not share the key: anyone with access to it may be able to send a signal to your stream.
4. Start the playout and go live
Start the playlist in your software, hardware, or cloud playout source, then start the encoder. For a scheduled stream, wait for the preview to appear in Live Control Room and select Go live at the broadcast time. For an immediate stream, follow the Live Control Room start workflow once the encoder is sending a signal. Confirm that the picture and sound are present before leaving the broadcast unattended.

Test stream quality and monitor the broadcast
Test before the public broadcast using representative audio and motion. YouTube recommends checking upload speed and monitoring stream health. Its bitrate guidance depends on codec, resolution, and frame rate, so use the current recommendation shown for your chosen output rather than assuming one bitrate fits every setup. A static image with audio generally needs less motion-oriented video capacity than full-motion footage, but the connection still has to sustain the selected output.
- Listen for clean audio, appropriate volume, and smooth transitions between bhajans.
- Check that the selected visual is correct and that video tracks display as intended.
- Verify the encoder preview and Live Control Room stream health before going public.
- Test the actual playlist loop, not just a short sample of one track.
- For a scheduled stream, test the start workflow in advance so you know how the preview and Go live step behave.
Handle music rights before going live
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. If it detects a match, it may replace the stream with a placeholder and warn the creator; continued use can interrupt or terminate the broadcast. Even when you have a licence, YouTube says a rights holder may need to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist to avoid interruptions. YouTube for Artists advises music channels:

Check rights for the specific recording and performance, as well as the underlying composition. Credit, a disclaimer, religious purpose, or the fact that a recording is publicly available on YouTube does not grant permission to rebroadcast it. Do not rely on a track’s “copyright free” label without checking the actual rights and any required Content ID allowlisting.

Plan for long-running streams and archives
YouTube automatically archives streams shorter than 12 hours. That archive rule is separate from keeping a channel live around the clock: do not assume that one stream will run indefinitely or that a longer broadcast will be archived. Check your playout option’s restart, recovery, and scheduling behavior, and plan how to maintain the public broadcast across stream boundaries.
Run it yourself or use a cloud service
With a local setup, your computer, encoder, power, and internet connection are part of the broadcast chain. Dedicated hardware can provide a standalone playout and encoding path, but it still requires checking whether it can repeat your media and recover unattended. If you need playback to continue with your computer off, a cloud service is another option. YouTube’s encoder directory lists Gyre as a cloud-based tool for 24/7 prerecorded-video streaming; check its current features, availability, pricing, and terms directly before choosing it.
