How to Set Up a 24/7 YouTube Stream with Gyre

To run a 24/7 YouTube stream with Gyre, first confirm your channel can livestream, then upload prerecorded video files to Gyre Storage, arrange them in a playlist, connect your YouTube channel, and start or schedule the broadcast from Gyre. Gyre says its cloud servers keep the stream running after setup, so your computer does not have to stay on. The steps below distinguish YouTube requirements from Gyre’s features and plan limits.

1. Check that your YouTube channel can livestream

Before choosing a Gyre plan or uploading files, confirm that the channel meets YouTube’s livestream eligibility rules. YouTube says a channel must be verified and have no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. The person livestreaming must be at least 16 years old. See YouTube’s “Get started with live streaming” help page for current account requirements.

  • In YouTube Studio, check that the channel is verified and livestreaming is available.
  • Check for any current or recent livestream restrictions that could prevent a broadcast.
  • If you are setting this up for a documentary channel, confirm that you have the rights to stream every film, soundtrack, image, and other included material. A file being available to upload does not establish permission to rebroadcast it.

2. Choose a Gyre plan for the stream you want to run

Gyre’s displayed prices and capacity figures below were published on its product page when checked on October 3, 2026. They are vendor-listed terms, not an independent test; plans and billing options can change. Check Gyre’s current product and pricing page before selecting a plan.

Option Streams and output Storage and file limit Other listed detail
Seven-day trial One Full HD stream 20 GB; up to 15 files Gyre watermark
Start — $49 per month One simultaneous Full HD stream 35 GB Check current page for included features and billing choices
Start+ — $99 per month Four HD streams or one 4K stream 75 GB Check current page for included features and billing choices
PRO+ — $169 per month Eight HD streams or two 4K streams 150 GB Check current page for included features and billing choices

Match the plan to the number of simultaneous broadcasts you need, output resolution and frame rate, storage and file-count limits, and whether playlists and scheduling are included. The figures above do not establish a particular frame rate for each tier, and the available source does not specify all plan features or billing-discount terms. Check those details in Gyre before paying. If you only need one channel, paying for multiple simultaneous streams may not be useful; if you need 4K or several channels at once, verify the exact tier limits first.

Elebase USB to USB C Adapter for iPhone 18 Pro Max,USBC Car Charger Adapter
  • Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
  • Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
  • Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
  • Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.

3. Prepare the prerecorded video files

Gyre’s help documentation says this workflow accepts prerecorded video files, and that all files used for a stream must be uploaded to Gyre Storage. A video that is already on YouTube is not automatically available as a source in Gyre: you need the source file to upload. Follow Gyre’s current preparation instructions and YouTube’s guidance for the HD or Full HD output you choose. See Gyre Help for its current file-preparation and upload guidance.

  • Gather the original files you have permission to stream and make sure the total fits your plan’s storage and file limits.
  • Choose a resolution and frame rate that suit your source material and the output your plan permits; avoid assuming that a higher resolution improves a low-resolution source.
  • Review the video and audio transitions, especially at the ends of clips and between playlist items. A continuous stream can still contain black frames, silence, abrupt cuts, or repeated credits.
  • For documentaries, check music, archival footage, embedded clips, and subtitles as well as the main film. Rights to show a documentary in one setting do not necessarily include rights to rebroadcast it continuously on YouTube.

4. Upload to Gyre and build the playlist

  1. Sign in to Gyre and open Gyre Storage.
  2. Upload the prerecorded source files you intend to broadcast. Wait for uploads and processing to finish before configuring the stream.
  3. Create a playlist and arrange the videos in the order you want viewers to see them.
  4. Check whether the selected plan includes playlist looping and any scheduler you need. Gyre advertises looping and scheduling, but availability can depend on the plan.
  5. Review the playlist as a complete sequence. Confirm the order, ensure there are no unintended gaps, and account for the length of the programming if you are scheduling a start time.

5. Connect YouTube and configure the broadcast

  1. In Gyre’s dashboard, choose the option to connect or authorize a YouTube channel.
  2. Sign in to the Google account that manages the intended channel and approve the requested connection. Check the channel name carefully if the account manages more than one.
  3. Select the uploaded playlist and configure the broadcast details in Gyre. Use the title, description, and other metadata that accurately describe the programming.
  4. Choose whether to launch immediately or schedule the stream, if the selected plan provides scheduling.
  5. Start the broadcast in Gyre, then open YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room and confirm that the event appears live and that its picture and sound are working.

Gyre’s documented setup is an upload, playlist, channel connection, then start-or-schedule flow. Its cloud service sends the stream from Gyre’s servers after setup; this is a description of how the service operates, not a promise that interruptions cannot occur. Monitor stream health and know how to reach the dashboard if the broadcast stops.

6. Check YouTube monetization and content policies

A running broadcast is not automatically monetized. Gyre reports that broadcasts created through third-party tools follow the channel’s default monetization setting for such broadcasts; if the relevant setting is off, monetization may start disabled. Verify the setting and your channel’s eligibility in YouTube Studio rather than assuming a Gyre launch enables ads. Gyre also reports that API controls can set mid-roll behavior on an eligible broadcast, but you should confirm the actual controls and eligibility shown for your own channel.

Separately, make sure the stream complies with YouTube’s current copyright and monetization policies. Repeating a film or playlist does not itself establish rights, make a channel eligible for monetization, or guarantee discovery or audience growth. Review YouTube Studio notices and the status of the live event after launch.

What to check if the stream does not work

  • Gyre will not connect the channel: verify that you signed in to the Google account that manages the right channel and completed the authorization flow. Recheck livestream eligibility in YouTube Studio.
  • A file is missing from the playlist: confirm it was uploaded to Gyre Storage and that upload or processing completed. Check storage and file-count limits for the selected plan.
  • The broadcast does not start at the expected time: check the scheduled time and time zone in Gyre, and verify that scheduling is available on your plan. If needed, launch manually from the dashboard.
  • The stream starts but has the wrong content or order: review the playlist selection and sequence in Gyre before relaunching; confirm that the intended YouTube channel is connected.
  • The stream stops or YouTube shows an error: check Gyre’s dashboard and YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room for the current status or notices. A cloud-hosted stream does not eliminate interruptions, so follow the displayed recovery steps and verify that the event returns to live.
  • Monetization is off: check YouTube Studio’s monetization defaults for broadcasts created through third-party tools and confirm the channel and content are eligible. Do not infer eligibility from the fact that the stream is live.
