Set Repeats Every, choose a Days or Weeks interval, enter the Occurrence count, and select Schedule Broadcast. The documented setup is for a finite number of repeats; it does not promise an indefinite loop.
Before you set up a recurring stream
- Check YouTube eligibility. YouTube says a channel needs to be verified and must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days. Its general guidance also sets a minimum age of 16 for livestreaming. These are YouTube requirements, not OneStream Live settings. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance.
- Connect the intended YouTube channel. In OneStream Live, open Social Platforms, add the account, and authorize it. Before scheduling, make sure the correct YouTube destination is connected and selected. OneStream Live’s getting-started instructions explain the connection flow: How to Start Your First Stream on OneStream Live.
- Check scheduling access in your account. OneStream Live says prerecorded videos can be scheduled up to 60 days ahead. Its advanced-scheduling guide says advanced scheduling is supported on Standard and higher-tier plans, but the recurring-stream guide does not specify which tier includes Repeat Stream. Confirm that the control is available to your account before planning a series. See OneStream Live’s overview of ways to go live and its advanced scheduling options.
Schedule recurring streams in the OneStream Live web app
- Open the prerecorded workflow. In the OneStream Live web app, choose Pre-recorded Stream, then select Add Videos.
- Choose the video or videos. Select content from your device, OneStream Live storage, or a supported cloud source such as Google Drive or Dropbox. Continue after selecting the content for the broadcast.
- Select the destination and enter stream details. Choose the connected YouTube channel and any other intended destinations, then provide the stream details requested in the workflow. Check the title and other viewer-facing information before moving on.
- Choose when the first broadcast should start. Schedule it immediately or set a future time in the scheduling controls. The recurrence options configure later occurrences of this prerecorded broadcast.
- Enable the repeat controls. Turn on Repeat Stream. Set Repeats Every to the frequency number, select Days or Weeks under Interval, and enter the number of repeats under Occurrence.
- Review and schedule. Check the destination, start time, repeat frequency, interval, and occurrence count, then select Schedule Broadcast. OneStream Live’s current walkthrough is How to Set Up Recurring Streams or Webinars? (last updated September 21, 2026).
The setting is a repeat count, not evidence of a forever-running schedule. If you need more broadcasts than the configured occurrences allow, review the schedule and create another series when appropriate.
Use the mobile app
The mobile workflow follows the same sequence: open Pre-recorded Stream, add content, choose destinations, enter stream details, set the schedule, enable Repeat Stream, configure its frequency, interval, and occurrence count, and schedule the broadcast. The mobile content choices also include recording with the camera or selecting media from mobile storage. Confirm the exact control names and availability in your app, since the recurring-stream instructions describe web and mobile workflows without detailing version-specific screen layouts.
What the schedule does—and what YouTube does separately
Recurring prerecorded broadcasts are not a live studio session
This OneStream Live workflow schedules prerecorded streams or webinars. It is distinct from manually starting a live camera or encoder broadcast each time. The video is selected first, and the recurrence settings determine when that prerecorded content is scheduled to go out.

Viewer reminders and promotion
YouTube’s scheduled-stream features can provide a shareable URL, reminders, and an upcoming listing where subscribers may see a Notify me option. YouTube recommends sharing a stream link at least 48 hours before it begins. These are YouTube behaviors; the OneStream Live recurrence setting should not be taken to mean that each occurrence is automatically promoted. See YouTube’s encoder stream setup guidance, live-stream settings, and stream promotion guidance.
Monetization and archives
OneStream Live documents an advanced option for YouTube-only monetization on prerecorded streams, but says ads are enabled only when the channel supports them. YouTube’s encoder guidance ties livestream monetization to eligibility for the YouTube Partner Program; enabling a setting does not itself qualify a channel or guarantee revenue. YouTube says stream archives upload to the channel automatically by default, while OneStream Live also documents an advanced option to delete a destination post after the stream ends. Check the current settings and the desired archive behavior for the particular broadcast before scheduling.

Troubleshoot a recurring schedule
- You cannot find Repeat Stream: Confirm you are creating a prerecorded stream and check the feature’s availability in your account. The recurrence help page does not identify a definitive plan tier for that control.
- The stream is not going to the intended channel: Check Social Platforms for the authorized YouTube account, then confirm that the correct destination is selected in the broadcast setup.
- YouTube will not let the channel livestream: Check verification status, any live-stream restriction within the previous 90 days, and the age requirement in YouTube’s eligibility guidance.
- The series stops sooner than expected: Review the Occurrence value. The documented controls describe a finite repeat count, not an indefinite schedule.
- A future broadcast is absent or mistimed: Recheck the first start time, the Repeats Every value, and whether the interval is set to Days or Weeks. Confirm the schedule in OneStream Live after selecting Schedule Broadcast.
- The broadcast is not retained on YouTube: Inspect the destination’s post-stream deletion setting and the archive behavior you want; the advanced deletion option can affect whether the destination post remains.
