It creates a future Live event and watch page; an encoder must send the video, and you must start the broadcast in YouTube’s Live Control Room. For an unattended, continuous feed, the encoder or hosting service must keep delivering the replay.
Choose between a scheduled session and an always-on feed
A scheduled event is a broadcast with a planned start time. It gives viewers a page where they can set reminders, but it does not automatically transmit a recording or repeat it. A continuous feed stays live while an encoder or host sends content; YouTube’s documentation treats a 24/7 channel feed separately from individual scheduled broadcasts. See Google’s explanation of broadcasts and streams.
- Choose a scheduled session if you want viewers to know when the relaxation replay begins, and you want a distinct broadcast for each session.
- Choose a continuous feed if you want the channel to remain live and the recording to repeat. Plan how the encoder will run, how the loop will sound and look, and how you will monitor the feed.
If preserving a complete YouTube archive is important, shorter separate sessions are the safer choice: YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived, while streams exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. Keep your own recording as a backup. Details: YouTube’s live-stream archive guidance.
Check channel eligibility and prepare the replay
Enable live streaming early
Your channel must be verified and must not have had a live-stream restriction in the previous 90 days. First-time live activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable it well before the planned broadcast. Check YouTube’s current setup requirements at Get started with live streaming.

Prepare the Kannada recording
- Use a finished video file that you have the right to broadcast and archive. You do not need a new microphone if the narration is already recorded.
- Check that the spoken guidance, background music, and visuals all play correctly from beginning to end.
- Listen through the start and end of the file and the loop transition. A gap, sudden restart, clipped narration, or silence can be especially distracting in a relaxation session.
- Decide whether the feed should repeat continuously or end after one play. Looping behavior is controlled by your encoder or hosting setup, not by scheduling the YouTube event.
YouTube supports software encoders and standalone hardware encoders; dedicated hardware is optional. Its encoder guidance includes verified devices and setup information: Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder.
Schedule the YouTube Live event
- In YouTube Studio, select Create → Go Live.
- Open Manage, then select Schedule stream.
- Create a new event or reuse settings, and set the title, description, visibility, and planned start time for the Kannada guided-relaxation replay.
- Save the event. YouTube provides a shareable watch page, and viewers can opt into reminders.
Scheduling prepares the event; it does not put the recording on air. You still need to connect an encoder and start the broadcast. Studio labels may change, so use YouTube’s current instructions at YouTube’s encoder setup page if the interface differs.
Send the replay and start the broadcast
- Open the scheduled stream in YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room and retrieve its stream key and server URL. Treat the stream key like a password: anyone who has it could send a feed to your event.
- In your software or hardware encoder, select the prepared recording as the media source. Enter the YouTube server URL and the stream key for this scheduled event.
- Set the encoder to play the recording once or loop it, according to your plan. Confirm that it sends both video and audio, and that the picture and sound remain stable at the intended loop point.
- Start streaming from the encoder. Wait for the incoming video preview in Live Control Room and inspect it before proceeding.
- When the preview is correct, click Go live in Live Control Room. The scheduled event is now broadcasting.
- Monitor the live video and sound during the session. Keep a local recording if you need a dependable copy of the relaxation replay.
YouTube recommends checking the preview before going live and monitoring audio and video during the broadcast. A recording that appears fine in an editor can still have a playback, audio-routing, or looping problem once sent by the encoder.

Plan for continuity and archive limits
A scheduled event and an always-on channel feed solve different problems. Scheduling helps promote a particular start time; continuous playback depends on the encoder or host remaining connected and supplying media. Google describes continuous feeds separately from scheduled broadcasts in its Live Streaming API documentation.
For an uninterrupted ambient channel, arrange monitoring and keep an independent local recording: the live feed and the archived copy are separate outputs. YouTube’s archive guidance warns that a stream longer than 12 hours may not be captured, so do not assume a continuous broadcast will yield a complete archive. If every session needs its own replay, schedule distinct, shorter events instead.
Clear rights for the recording and understand monetization
Check every audio and visual element
You are responsible for the rights to the spoken script and recording, background music, and any visuals in the live feed and its archive. YouTube scans live streams for third-party content and may interrupt or terminate a stream if material continues after a warning. Even having a license may not prevent an interruption if the rights holder has not allowlisted your channel in Content ID. Review YouTube’s guidance on copyright issues with live streams and its livestream terms and conditions.

Do not assume a loop will qualify for monetization
Copyright permission and monetization eligibility are separate questions. YouTube says content should be original and “authentic.” Its policy update dated July 15, 2025 renamed “repetitious content” as “inauthentic content” to clarify how the policy applies to repetitive or mass-produced material. Reviewers assess a channel as a whole, including its theme, videos, metadata, and share of watch time; highly repetitive or minimally varied content may be ineligible. A Kannada relaxation replay alone cannot establish whether your channel qualifies. Read YouTube’s channel monetization policies.
Or let it run in the cloud
If you would rather not keep a computer or encoder running at home, StreamNeo is a YouTube-only cloud option for looping uploaded videos. The steps are simple: upload the Kannada replay, add your YouTube stream key, then go live. Nothing has to stay on at home; the uploaded video streams as made, up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, with automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Common problems and fixes
The event is scheduled but viewers see no live picture
Creating the event does not transmit video. Confirm that the encoder is sending to the correct server URL with the stream key for that scheduled event, then wait for its preview in Live Control Room and select Go live.

The encoder connects, but the broadcast does not begin
Check that the incoming preview appears in Live Control Room. Starting the encoder and starting the YouTube broadcast are separate actions; after confirming the preview, click Go live.
The stream stops or the recording does not repeat
Check whether the encoder is configured to loop the media and whether the computer, hardware encoder, or host is still running and connected. A scheduled YouTube event does not restart a disconnected encoder or create a continuous feed by itself.
The replay has silence or an abrupt transition
Inspect the original file and listen to the loop point. Confirm that the encoder is sending the intended audio source, then check the Live Control Room preview before starting or continuing the broadcast.

The stream is interrupted by a copyright warning
Review the rights for every audio and visual element, including background music, and resolve the issue with the relevant rights holder. A license alone may not stop Content ID interruption if your channel has not been allowlisted. See YouTube’s live copyright guidance.
The YouTube archive is missing or incomplete
Streams exceeding 12 hours may not be captured. Keep a local copy and use shorter distinct scheduled sessions when preserving each broadcast as an archive matters. See YouTube’s archive guidance.
