You can schedule a chakra meditation livestream in YouTube Studio, but scheduling creates an upcoming event—it does not keep a 24/7 video feed running by itself. Create the event in Live Control Room, send the prepared video and audio through an encoder using YouTube’s Live server URL and stream key, then check the preview and start the broadcast. For continuous operation, the encoder, source feed, network connection and monitoring must also stay in place.
Before you schedule: check eligibility and prepare the stream
Confirm that your channel is verified and has no livestreaming restrictions in the past 90 days. YouTube’s general guidance also says a person must be at least 16 to livestream. Check YouTube’s current live-streaming eligibility guidance before setting an event date.
Prepare the meditation video and audio you intend to broadcast, and choose an encoder that can send the feed continuously. YouTube supports software encoders; it describes professional-grade hardware encoders as an option for higher-production events. A largely static visual with meditation audio may not need a hardware encoder. The key distinction is whether your setup can remain operational and monitored for the duration you intend.
Schedule the event in YouTube Studio
- Open Live Control Room. In YouTube Studio, select Create > Go Live.
- Start a scheduled stream. Open Manage, then select Schedule stream. Choose to create a new stream or reuse previous settings.
- Check the event details. Enter the title, description, visibility and schedule. If you reuse settings, review the metadata and stream key rather than assuming the old configuration is still right. YouTube’s scheduled-stream instructions explain how to create the upcoming event.
- Share the watch page. Viewers can use the scheduled page to find the event; scheduled streams may appear as upcoming in subscriber feeds, and viewers can select Notify me.
Scheduling gives viewers an event to find and set a reminder for. It does not start your video feed or guarantee that the broadcast will continue without interruption.

- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Connect an encoder and start the broadcast
- Copy the YouTube connection details. In Live Control Room, get the Live server URL and stream key for the event.
- Configure your encoder. Paste in the server URL and stream key, then select the prepared meditation video and audio feed. YouTube’s encoder setup guidance covers connecting an encoder.
- Protect the stream key. YouTube describes it as functioning like the stream’s password and address. Do not share it publicly; reset it if you believe it has been compromised.
- Send the feed before the event. Start the encoder, wait for the preview to appear in Live Control Room, and check that the picture and sound are correct. YouTube recommends setting up at least two hours ahead and starting the encoder at least 15 minutes before an event.
- Go live. When the preview is ready and the event is due to start, select Go live in Live Control Room.
- End the event deliberately. Select End Stream in Live Control Room and stop the encoder from sending.
What 24/7 operation requires
A scheduled event and a continuously delivered stream are different parts of the workflow. For a 24/7 broadcast, the encoder must keep sending the feed, the source media must remain available, the network must sustain the upload, and someone should monitor stream health and playback. YouTube recommends testing the setup, monitoring audio and video quality, checking the watch page and mobile playback, and planning for sufficient upload bandwidth with headroom.
A backup encoder can be part of a reliability plan, but it needs to be tested; it is not a guarantee of seamless failover. YouTube’s guidance does not promise uninterrupted uptime or specify a complete archive plan for an indefinite stream.

Encoder settings and protocol choices
For RTMP/RTMPS, YouTube’s encoder guidance specifies H.264, constant bitrate (CBR) and a recommended two-second keyframe frequency. YouTube also documents HLS for supported cases; HLS has higher latency because it sends segments rather than a continuous RTMP stream. Use the protocol your encoder and YouTube workflow support, and test the complete path before relying on it for a long broadcast. See YouTube’s encoder settings for the applicable configuration details.
Archive limits
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That statement does not establish that a single continuous stream longer than 12 hours will produce one automatically archived file. Treat preserving a recording of a 24/7 broadcast as a separate operational requirement, and plan and test how you will capture or retain the material you need.

Check rights for the meditation content
Before broadcasting, verify that you have the rights needed to livestream every part of the feed—including music, ambient sounds, visuals and spoken guidance. Music rights may involve artists, labels, publishers and other rights participants, and permissions can vary by territory. Calling a track “royalty-free” or labeling content as meditation does not by itself establish that your intended livestream use is covered. Follow YouTube’s Community Guidelines and applicable laws as well.
