Before uploading or scheduling anything, confirm that you have livestream rights for every recording and composition in the territories where the stream will be available. A song’s public availability, a purchase, a “free” label, or a credit in your description does not establish those rights.
Before you schedule: clear every track for livestreaming
Get permission for both the specific sound recording and the underlying composition, as applicable, for the intended territories and use. YouTube’s livestream terms put the responsibility on the content provider to have the necessary rights worldwide on Google services, including music rights from artists, record labels, publishers (including public-performance licenses), and other royalty participants. The terms do not establish that any particular Tamil song is cleared: check the agreements and rights relevant to each track and territory. YouTube’s livestream terms and conditions
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. If it detects a match, it may replace the stream with a placeholder and warn you; if the content remains, the broadcast may be interrupted or terminated. If you have licensed third-party music, ask the rights owner to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. A licence by itself may not stop an interruption if the channel is not allowlisted. - Keep records of permissions and any territory, platform, duration, or other limits they specify.
- Do not treat attribution, a consumer music subscription, or a “free music” label as a substitute for permission to broadcast.
- Do not assume a track is safe because it is publicly available or because a previous upload did not receive a claim.
What OneStream Live’s 24/7 mode supports
OneStream Live’s help page says 24/7 streaming is exclusive to YouTube and requires an Enterprise plan. Its documented maximum is 30 days for one scheduled 24/7 stream. The workflow accepts videos from a device, OneStream storage, or cloud storage; you select the connected YouTube channel, enter stream details, choose a start time, set the duration in days, and schedule. How to set up the nonstop stream
- Prepare cleared video files. Gather the finished files you are authorized to stream and keep an accessible copy. OneStream’s guide lists a local device, OneStream storage, and cloud storage as sources.
- Open the continuous-stream workflow. In the OneStream Live web app, choose Create → 24-hour Stream.
- Add the video or videos. Select files from your device, OneStream storage, or cloud storage, then continue. For multiple clips, use a playlist to queue them in sequence where appropriate. OneStream’s separate playlist guide lists Professional and Enterprise plans for that feature; the 24/7 mode itself requires Enterprise. - Choose the destination. Turn on the connected YouTube channel and continue.
- Enter stream details and timing. Add the stream details, choose to start immediately or schedule it for later, set the duration in days, and schedule the broadcast. Keep the 30-day maximum in mind when planning a longer-running channel.
- Monitor the live broadcast. Check YouTube for copyright warnings or interruptions, and respond to rights-related notices rather than assuming the scheduled stream will continue unaffected.
Choose a single video, playlist, or file source

Plan for the stream archive separately
YouTube says it can automatically archive live streams shorter than 12 hours; streams longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all. A continuous 24/7 broadcast should therefore not be treated as a guaranteed single complete YouTube VOD. Keep the original media and make a separate local backup if you need an archive. An external SSD is one optional way to store source files or backup copies, but neither OneStream’s guide nor YouTube’s archive guidance requires a particular device, capacity, or model.
