How do I stream prerecorded videos on YouTube 24/7?
The basic path is: prepare eligible lesson files, create a live stream in YouTube Studio, connect an encoder with the stream URL and private key, then check the incoming signal and playlist. YouTube documents the encoder connection, but does not prescribe a particular application for looping a playlist; loop behavior depends on the encoder you choose. 1. Confirm live access for the channel
The channel must be verified and must not have had live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. If live streaming is being enabled for the first time, activation can take up to 24 hours. Check access well before your planned launch. YouTube’s live-streaming enablement guidance explains eligibility and activation.
2. Prepare and review the lesson files
Play every video from beginning to end before adding it to the rotation. Check the picture, Telugu narration, audio levels, subtitles if used, and any transitions or pauses. Make sure you have rights to the lesson recording and to every included screen capture, diagram, code sample, narration, music track, and other audio. 3. Create the YouTube Live event
In YouTube Studio, open the Live Control Room and create or select a stream. Set its title, description, visibility, audience designation, and schedule for your channel. Follow the current prompts: Studio labels and interface details can change. Use a title and description that make clear these are recorded lessons playing as a live feed, rather than implying a live classroom or live instructor if there is none.
4. Connect an encoder and protect the key
Copy the stream URL and private stream key from the Live Control Room into the matching fields in your encoder. The key authorizes an encoder to send video to the channel, so treat it like a password: do not publish it, share it, or leave it visible in a screen recording. Start the encoder and wait for YouTube to show that it is receiving a healthy signal before treating the setup as ready. YouTube’s encoder guide covers the URL-and-key workflow.
5. Set up and test the loop
Use an encoder or playback workflow that can repeat a playlist. Since YouTube’s encoder guide does not specify a playlist-looping app, verify the selected tool’s behavior yourself rather than assuming that connecting a stream automatically repeats a video.

- Confirm that the first lesson starts with picture and sound.
- Let the playlist run through a transition and check for black frames, silence, or an unintended pause.
- Check that the last lesson returns to the first and that the source does not stop at the end of the list.
- Watch YouTube’s stream-health display while the encoder is sending the feed.
6. Assign someone to monitor it
A 24/7 schedule still needs an owner. Decide who will respond to encoder or source failures, YouTube alerts, rights questions, and lesson updates. With a local encoder, continuity depends on the computer, its storage, power, network, and playback software remaining available. YouTube’s receiving service and the source files can also be points of interruption. A cloud encoder moves playback and sending to a remote service, but you still need to check its file support, monitoring, recovery behavior, storage limits, costs, and terms.
How do I loop a playlist on YouTube Live?
Build the rotation in the encoder or playback application that feeds YouTube, not by assuming YouTube will replay a completed live source. Add the lesson files in the intended order, enable repeat or loop in that tool, and test through the end of the list. The precise control and supported formats depend on the encoder, so consult its current instructions and verify that it keeps sending a signal across the playlist boundary.
Consider arranging lessons into a coherent rotation: for example, introductory programming, data structures, algorithms, then a clearly marked return to the introductory material. Include enough context in the stream title and description that a viewer joining mid-cycle can understand what is playing. Keep original lesson files separately if you need reliable access to individual lessons as replays.

Can I stream recorded classes live on YouTube?
Yes. Recorded classes can be sent as a YouTube Live feed through an encoder, provided the channel has live access and you have rights to the material. A prerecorded lesson does not become a live classroom simply because it is transmitted through Live; describe the format honestly and do not imply real-time teaching or interaction that is not happening.
Copyright checks can interrupt a broadcast
YouTube scans live streams for matches to third-party content. Its guidance says: “All live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content, including copyrighted content in the form of another live broadcast.” If YouTube identifies third-party material, a placeholder may replace the stream and YouTube may warn the streamer; continued use can interrupt or terminate the broadcast. If you have a license for the material, YouTube says the rights holder may need to add your channel to an allowlist. Review YouTube’s copyright guidance for live streams before using third-party clips or music.
Monetization is not guaranteed
YouTube’s monetization policies apply to live streams as well as uploaded videos. The platform says monetized content should be original and authentic, and that its substance should be materially varied and provide creative, educational, or other value. YouTube puts it this way: “What’s important is that the substance of each video should be materially varied and deliver creative, educational, or other value.” A replayed lesson series may have an educational purpose, but that alone does not guarantee a channel’s YouTube Partner Program decision. How long will YouTube keep the live replay?
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Do not assume that one continuous stream lasting longer than 12 hours will be saved as a complete replay. If viewers need access to the full lessons afterward, keep the original files and publish or otherwise provide them separately as appropriate. YouTube’s live-stream archive guidance

The main choice is where the lesson playback and encoding run. Neither option removes every possible failure point; choose according to who can maintain the setup and what continuity you need.

YouTube’s encoder directory is a place to discover services, not a comparative performance report or uptime guarantee. Verify any provider’s current features and terms directly. For a local setup, an optional UPS may help bridge a short power interruption, but it does not solve internet, encoder, or source-file failures.

Troubleshooting a 24/7 lesson stream
- YouTube does not receive a signal: Recheck that the encoder has the correct stream URL and the current private key, then confirm the encoder is actually sending. Check the Live Control Room for a healthy incoming signal.
- The broadcast stops at the end of a lesson or playlist: The selected playback workflow may not be set to repeat, or may stop when its source ends. Enable looping in the encoder or playback tool and test a complete cycle before launch.
- There is no picture or sound: Play the source file directly and check that the encoder can read its format and audio track. Verify the selected source and audio input in the encoder.
- The local stream drops unexpectedly: Check whether the computer slept, lost power, lost its network connection, ran out of storage, or stopped the encoder. Set an alert and a restart or replacement plan; an optional UPS addresses only some short power interruptions.
- YouTube replaces or interrupts the feed: Review the copyright notice and identify any matched music, clips, or other third-party material. Remove material you are not authorized to use; if licensed, follow YouTube’s process and ask the rights holder about channel allowlisting.
- The replay is incomplete: A continuous stream longer than 12 hours may not be archived as one complete replay. Keep and distribute the source lessons separately if a full archive matters.
