You can keep recorded exam-preparation lessons playing on YouTube around the clock by using a cloud playout service: upload or select your videos, connect the service to a YouTube Live stream with its server URL and stream key, then verify the preview before going live. The cloud service—not a computer at home—runs the feed. First enable live streaming on your channel, confirm you have rights to everything in the recordings, and test the stream and its archive behavior before making it public.

What you need before setting up a 24/7 lesson stream

  • A YouTube channel eligible for live streaming. YouTube says the channel must be verified and have no live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days; its stated minimum age for live streaming is 16. First-time activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable it before your planned launch. Check YouTube’s current requirements in Get started with live streaming.
  • A library of lesson recordings you have the right to stream, including their slides, music, graphics, and embedded excerpts.
  • A cloud playout service that accepts your recordings and can keep a stream going continuously. Confirm playlist and looping behavior, supported files and resolution, storage, reconnect handling, monitoring, and costs with the provider; YouTube’s verified-encoder list identifies relevant services but does not establish their plan-level terms.
  • A YouTube Live stream’s server URL and private stream key. Treat the key like a password: do not share it publicly, and reset it if exposed.

YouTube’s help page lists a limit of 10 active streams per channel and 3 active streams per stream key, applied together. Limits and eligibility rules can change, so check the current YouTube live-streaming requirements when configuring an account.

Choose a cloud approach for recorded lessons

StreamNeo: cloud looping for a YouTube channel

StreamNeo is the first option to consider for this use case: it loops uploaded videos from the cloud to YouTube, so your computer and home connection do not have to stay on. Every slot supports any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, includes 10 GB of storage per slot pooled across active slots, playlists, automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream, and team support. It does not re-encode uploads. The first day is free with no card, one free day per account; plans differ by duration, not features. For India, UPI and cards are accepted; card checkout is available worldwide. Contact support for five or more slots. See StreamNeo for product details.

StreamNeo plans: Daily $0.99 per day · Weekly $2.99 per week · Monthly $9.99 per month · 6 months $49.99 for 6 months · Yearly $89.99 a year.

Elebase USB to USB C Adapter for iPhone 18 Pro Max,USBC Car Charger Adapter
  • Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. • Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
  • Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
  • Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.

Other cloud services and infrastructure

YouTube’s verified-encoder directory identifies Gyre as a cloud-based option for 24/7 prerecorded-video streaming and Upstream as a cloud studio for 24/7 live streaming. Those listings establish that they are relevant categories to investigate, not a comparison of current prices, playlist features, reliability, regional availability, or support. Ask each provider whether the current plan loops your intended number and length of uploaded lessons and what happens after a disconnect.

YouTube also lists AWS Elemental MediaLive for broadcast-grade live processing. The listing does not establish a simple creator workflow for looping uploaded lessons to YouTube, so clarify the architecture, engineering work, and total cost before choosing it. Running an encoder on a self-managed cloud virtual machine is another possible architecture, but it makes you responsible for storage, encoding, process supervision, restarts, logging, security, and data transfer. Do not assume it is cheaper or more reliable without estimating your workload.

What to compare before committing

  • Playlist behavior: whether the service loops a selected list, how it handles the end of a file, and whether you can change the schedule.
  • File formats, resolution, storage limits, and any data-transfer charges.
  • Recovery after a lost connection, monitoring, and alerts.
  • How stream keys are stored and who can access them.
  • Archive and replay behavior, customer support, regional availability, and how you can export or migrate your videos and settings.

Set up YouTube Live and connect the cloud encoder

  1. Enable live streaming early. Complete channel verification and enable live streaming in YouTube Studio. First-time activation may take up to 24 hours. Check the channel for restrictions before planning a public broadcast.
  2. Review the lesson library. Confirm you control the rights to the recordings and every included element. Replace uncleared material or arrange the rights owner’s Content ID allowlisting before streaming.
  3. Create the YouTube stream. In YouTube Studio, open Live Control Room and create or schedule a stream. Set its visibility and schedule, and add an accurate title, description, and thumbnail for the lessons viewers will see.
  4. Copy the connection details. Copy the stream server URL and stream key shown by YouTube into the corresponding fields in your cloud encoder. Keep the key private.
  5. Choose the videos and start the feed. Select the intended recording or playlist and start sending the feed from the cloud service. For a scheduled YouTube stream, wait until the preview appears in Live Control Room, check the stream health, and press Go Live when ready. YouTube’s encoder setup guide describes this URL-and-key workflow.
  6. Test privately or unlisted first. Check picture, audio, aspect ratio, lesson order, title and thumbnail, stream health, and reconnect behavior. Check chat moderation if chat is enabled. Confirm separately that the archive appears as expected; do not assume a full-day run becomes one replay.
  7. Monitor the public run. During the first broadcast, inspect Live Control Room, rights notices, and the resulting video in YouTube Studio. Continue checking periodically, especially after changing a playlist or stream configuration.

Plan separately for archives and watch hours

YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived; its guidance does not promise that a continuous 24-hour stream will be saved as one complete VOD. If viewers need replays, test the archive behavior and plan a restart or separate archive workflow that fits the channel. Review the actual saved videos in Studio instead of inferring their status from the live feed.

For monetization eligibility, YouTube says qualified public watch hours include public long-form videos and archived livestreams, but exclude “Live streams that aren’t archived.” Set the intended privacy and archive options, then verify what YouTube Studio records. A live feed alone is not evidence that watch hours will qualify. See YouTube’s qualified watch hours explainer.

Protect copyright and keep the stream useful to students

YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. A match can replace the feed with a placeholder and trigger a warning; unresolved material can interrupt or terminate the stream. This can affect even licensed content: YouTube says the rights owner may need to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. Check the copyright guidance for live streams and arrange clearance before going live.

Use recordings you own or are authorized to distribute, and check not just the lecturer’s footage but also background music, slides, diagrams, textbook excerpts, and clips embedded in lessons. For exam-preparation programming, organize distinct lessons into a meaningful sequence and make clear which subjects or topics are playing. A loop is not a substitute for permission to rebroadcast material.

Monetization is not guaranteed by running a stream continuously. YouTube’s channel monetization policy says, “Be your original creation,” and applies its monetization rules to livestreams. It cautions against mass-produced, generic, repetitive, or manipulative content and expects content to offer viewers enjoyment or education. A stream that cycles genuinely distinct lessons is more defensible editorially than an unchanged loop promoted only to accumulate views, but that does not guarantee a channel review outcome. Read YouTube’s channel monetization policies.

Common problems and practical fixes

Problem Likely cause What to check or do
You cannot start a live stream Live streaming is not enabled, verification is incomplete, a restriction applies, or first-time activation is still processing. Check channel eligibility and restrictions in YouTube Studio; allow up to 24 hours for first-time activation.
YouTube does not show a preview The encoder has the wrong server URL or stream key, or it has not started sending the feed. Compare the encoder’s connection details with the current stream in Live Control Room. Replace the key if it was exposed.
The feed stops or is interrupted The cloud service disconnected, or YouTube detected third-party material. Check the service’s logs and recovery status, then inspect YouTube Studio for a rights notice. Resolve the rights issue or arrange Content ID allowlisting with the rights owner.
The 24-hour broadcast is not one complete replay YouTube’s automatic archive guidance covers streams under 12 hours, not a guaranteed full-day VOD. Test archive behavior before launch and use a suitable restart or separate archive plan if a complete replay is required.
Watch hours do not appear as expected The stream may not be archived or public, or its hours may not meet YouTube’s qualification rules. Review the saved video’s visibility and archive status in Studio, then check YouTube’s qualified-hours guidance.
Students see a confusing or repetitive feed The playlist may not clearly identify its subject or may cycle the same material without useful organization. Label the stream and lessons accurately, organize a purposeful sequence, and review the playlist from a viewer’s perspective.

Or let it run in the cloud

With StreamNeo, upload your exam-preparation recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live.
