Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →To run recorded aartis on YouTube around the clock, send a prepared audio/video feed from an encoder—software on a computer or a standalone hardware encoder—to YouTube Live Control Room using the stream URL and key. Test the feed, keep a local recording, and plan for stream restarts: YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived, while streams longer than 12 hours may not be captured. Before broadcasting, check rights for each recording and its music; a religious-ceremony exception in Indian copyright law does not, by itself, establish that a continuous online rebroadcast is covered.
Choose how the recorded aarti will reach YouTube
YouTube’s practical route for a prepared video-and-audio feed is an encoder. The recording is played into streaming software on a computer or a standalone hardware encoder, which sends the output to YouTube. The encoder must be able to play the media as intended, keep it running, and support the local recording and recovery arrangements you need. YouTube does not require one particular computer or encoder model.
For a temple deciding between a computer-based and dedicated-hardware setup, compare the media playback and looping method, what happens after power or network loss, whether local recording is available, and who will monitor status and handle restarts. These are operational selection criteria, not YouTube-mandated specifications. No particular device model is established here as tested or recommended.
Set up the channel and encoder
- Enable YouTube Live. You need live streaming enabled on the channel. YouTube’s encoder guidance says first-time enablement may take up to 24 hours, so do not leave it until launch day.
- Create or schedule the broadcast. In YouTube Studio, open Live Control Room and create or schedule the stream. Scheduling gives you a watch page to share in advance. YouTube’s interface labels can change, so follow the current instructions shown in Studio.
- Prepare the recording and playback. Load the temple’s aarti video and audio into your playback/encoder setup. Check that the file plays through, repeats or advances in the intended order, and does not stop at the end of a playlist.
- Connect the encoder. In Live Control Room, obtain the stream URL and stream key, then enter them in the encoder’s YouTube connection settings. The key is a credential that directs the encoder’s feed and lets YouTube accept it: keep it private, and do not show it on screen or share it in public instructions.
- Set the output deliberately. Choose an output resolution and frame rate that suit the source recording and the encoder’s sustained capabilities; avoid assuming that upscaling improves the original. Set the encoder’s total outgoing bitrate to a level the temple’s upload connection can sustain. Use YouTube’s current encoder guidance for the selected output profile rather than relying on an old preset or an unverified number.
- Test before going public. YouTube recommends preparing the encoder at least two hours ahead and starting it at least 15 minutes before a scheduled event. For a continuous installation, use those as a pre-launch test window, not as a guarantee of uninterrupted service. Confirm that the preview reaches Live Control Room and that the picture and sound are correct before relying on the public stream.
Plan for network, monitoring and recovery
YouTube recommends leaving 20% of available upload bandwidth in reserve above the total streaming bitrate. Check the actual connection used by the encoder, not just the advertised internet plan, and account for other devices sharing it. Test the setup at the temple during representative busy periods. If the stream is important, test backup connectivity and encoder failover rather than assuming a second connection or device will take over automatically.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.

- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Keep a local recording and verify that it is growing and playable. Monitor the public watch page on a phone as well as the encoder display: a preview in the encoder alone does not confirm that viewers receive usable audio and video. During operation, check for silent playback, frozen video, unexpected media stops and loss of the public stream. Decide in advance who is responsible for noticing a problem and restarting or switching over.
Design the stream around YouTube’s archive limit
Do not count on YouTube to save one uninterrupted 24-hour broadcast as a complete replay. YouTube Help says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived; a stream exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. This is an archive warning, not a promise about stream uptime.

If viewers need replays, preserve a local copy and plan deliberate shorter stream segments with an operator or tested automation able to verify each handoff. A sequence of shorter broadcasts is a practical response to YouTube’s stated archive limit, not a guarantee that every restart will be seamless or that every replay will be available. Test the channel’s current behavior with a private or unlisted stream before depending on it.
Clear rights for the aarti recordings and music
Before launch, check the rights for each specific item: the composition and lyrics, the particular sound recording, any performance, and the video or other audiovisual material. YouTube’s live-stream terms require the provider to have the necessary rights for live and archived content, including applicable music licensing rights. Keep permissions and licence records with the files they cover.

India’s Copyright Act, 1957 defines communication to the public broadly, including making a work or performance available by display or diffusion. Section 52(1)(za) provides an exception for performance or communication of specified works or sound recordings in the course of a bona fide religious ceremony. That text does not establish that every continuous online rebroadcast of recorded aartis outside the ceremony is exempt. Whether the material is played as part of a ceremony, rebroadcast later, or looped continuously may matter. Get advice from an India-qualified copyright professional on the exact recordings, use and current law before relying on the exception.
IPRS says a licence is necessary for public performance or communication to the public of copyright music under its control. Its repertoire is not blanket clearance for every aarti; rights in the sound recording can also be separate from rights in underlying music and lyrics. Check which rightsholders control each relevant work and recording, and confirm the scope and territory of any permissions.

YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. A match can result in a placeholder, interruption or termination. If you have licensed third-party content, YouTube says to ask the owner to add the channel to its allowlist; having a licence alone may not prevent an interruption if the content is not allowlisted.

- Live streaming is enabled, and the stream is configured or scheduled in Live Control Room.
- The encoder has the correct private stream URL and key, and the recording plays or loops as intended.
- Permissions have been checked for the music, recording, performances and video; applicable written records are retained.
- Rightsholders have been asked about Content ID allowlisting where licensed material may be detected.
- The preview, public watch page and mobile playback have been checked for picture and sound.
- Available upload capacity has been tested with YouTube’s recommended bandwidth reserve.
- A local recording is verified, storage is monitored, and a person or tested process is assigned to respond to failures.
- The replay plan does not depend on YouTube capturing a single stream longer than 12 hours.
