The cloud service sends and loops the prepared videos, so a computer and home internet connection do not have to remain on. You still need eligible YouTube livestream access, permission for every recording, and a plan to monitor the stream and preserve your source files.
What you need before starting
- A YouTube channel with livestreaming enabled. YouTube’s current livestreaming eligibility guidance says the channel must be verified and must not have had a livestreaming restriction in the preceding 90 days. It also states that livestreamers must be at least 16. Check YouTube Studio before planning a launch; first-time activation can take up to 24 hours.
- Recordings and visuals you have permission to livestream on YouTube. Keep the license or written permission for each item, including any relevant territory and replay rights.
- A cloud playlist service that supports YouTube Live, plus access to YouTube Studio and its stream key.
- Copies of your original media stored separately from the cloud service, and a way to check YouTube Live Control Room and provider status after launch.
A cloud service is a way to deliver prepared media; it is not a YouTube requirement or an exemption from YouTube’s rules. YouTube does not endorse a named provider through this workflow.
Check rights for every bhajan recording
Devotional subject matter, traditional lyrics, attribution, or the fact that a recording is already online does not by itself grant permission to rebroadcast that recording. A modern arrangement, performance, accompaniment, or recording may have separate rights. Confirm that permission covers livestreaming on YouTube, the territories in which the stream will be available, and any replay you intend to keep. The status of a particular song or recording depends on the material and the applicable rights; do not assume a general rule clears your playlist.
YouTube says that “All live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content, including copyrighted content in the form of another live broadcast.” Its copyright guidance for live streams warns that a stream may be interrupted if the channel is not on the rights owner’s allowlist, even if the creator has a licence. Ask the rights owner about allowlisting when necessary and retain proof of permission. A cloud provider cannot prevent a copyright match or override YouTube’s decision.

Set up the channel and cloud playlist
- Confirm access: Open YouTube Studio and verify that the channel can livestream. Resolve any restriction or verification issue before scheduling a continuous broadcast.
- Prepare the playlist: Upload only the video and audio files cleared for your intended use. Choose the sequence, or decide whether to shuffle if the service supports it. Check that each video has usable audio and visuals and that its duration and file format meet the service’s current upload requirements.
- Create a YouTube broadcast: In YouTube Studio, create or schedule a livestream and open the stream settings. Copy the stream key for that broadcast. Treat it as a password: do not publish it or share it with anyone who should not control the stream.
- Connect the provider: In the cloud service’s YouTube connection settings, enter the stream key and select the prepared playlist. The exact labels vary by provider; follow that service’s current instructions. Keep the key private and check that it is attached to the intended broadcast.
- Test before announcing: Start a private or otherwise appropriate test. Check the YouTube Live Control Room for incoming video and audio, confirm the stream is active, listen for clean levels, inspect the picture, and watch a playlist transition. Fix silence, missing visuals, wrong ordering, or connection errors before making the channel public.
- Go live and monitor: Start the broadcast through the provider’s workflow and confirm it appears live on YouTube. Check both YouTube Live Control Room and the provider’s status information after launch and periodically thereafter.
For custom integrations, Google’s YouTube Live Streaming API guide describes the underlying sequence: create a broadcast and an incoming stream resource, bind them, test the feed, confirm ingestion is active, and then transition the broadcast to live. A Studio or provider interface may present this differently. You do not need to configure the API or Google’s DASH delivery details for an ordinary cloud-service setup.
Plan for monitoring, interruptions, and replays
Cloud delivery removes dependence on a computer and internet connection at home, but it does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. YouTube can restrict or interrupt a stream, a provider can have an outage, and a connection can fail. Check current service terms and status tools rather than assuming any provider guarantees uptime or recovery.

- If the feed stops, inspect YouTube Studio for copyright or policy notices, then check the provider’s connection status and its current reconnect guidance.
- Review YouTube’s livestream restrictions guidance if access is limited. Copyright strikes and matches with another copyrighted live broadcast are among the possible reasons for a restriction.
- If your channel is designated “made for kids,” account for feature limits: YouTube says live chat is disabled and personalized ads are disabled on livestreams and Premieres.
- Keep local copies of all playlist files and maintain a separate recording if the replay matters. YouTube says a stream under 12 hours can be automatically archived, but a stream exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. See YouTube’s livestream archive guidance.
For a dependable replay, do not treat one uninterrupted 24-hour broadcast as your sole archive. Preserve the originals and consider separate recordings or planned shorter broadcast segments if you need replay continuity.
