You can run a 24/7 bhajan livestream on YouTube only if your channel is eligible, your broadcast setup can be monitored and recovered, and you have permission for every composition and recording you play. “Astra Streaming” can mean different products: Astra Streaming Studio is an Android live-video app; DataStax Astra Streaming is an event-streaming service, not a YouTube video encoder. The available information does not establish that Astra Streaming Studio is a managed, unattended 24/7 playout service.
First, identify which Astra product you mean
Astra Streaming Studio, published by MIV Dev, is an Android app described on Google Play as a mobile live-video streaming tool. Its listing names H.264/AAC encoding, SRT and RTMP/RTSP streaming, MP4 loop recording and scene/image features. The listing displays an update date of October 31, 2023; verify the current app version, settings and compatibility on your device before relying on it.
That is not the same product as DataStax Astra Streaming, which DataStax describes as an Apache Pulsar-powered event-streaming service. It is not an end-user YouTube broadcast encoder.
The Google Play feature list does not establish YouTube-specific validation, cloud playout, unattended operation or an uptime guarantee for Astra Streaming Studio. Treat it as a possible mobile encoder, not as proof that a phone and app can keep a channel live continuously without supervision.

Clear the bhajans and recordings before you stream
A devotional subject does not make a recording free to rebroadcast. YouTube’s livestream terms require the provider to have the necessary rights for live content, including music rights, and to satisfy applicable territory requirements. YouTube states: “You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights for the exploitation of the Live Content on the Google Services throughout the world, including, without limitation, music licensing rights from artists, record labels, publishers (including public performance licenses) and any other royalty participants.”
For each item in your playlist, identify both the underlying composition and the particular sound recording. Obtain written permission covering the intended platform, territories, term, continuous live use, monetization if planned, and any archive you intend to keep. This is a practical documentation checklist, not a complete statement of Indian law. The permissions needed depend on the actual works, recordings, owners, territories and circumstances; confirm your specific position with the rights holders and qualified local counsel.
Ask for Content ID allowlisting as well as permission
A licence and a YouTube Content ID allowlist are separate practical steps. YouTube says it scans live streams for third-party content. A licensed track can still trigger a match and interrupt a stream if the relevant rights holder has not allowlisted your channel. Ask each relevant owner to allowlist the channel and covered material before going live, and keep the permission and track list on file. See YouTube’s guidance on copyright issues with live streams.

A private or test broadcast is useful for checking your technical path, but it cannot prove that every track is cleared or prevent a later match. Test only with content you have already cleared.
Check YouTube channel eligibility
Before configuring the broadcast, follow YouTube’s current live-streaming eligibility guidance. YouTube says the channel must be verified, must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days, and the person streaming must be at least 16 years old. YouTube offers mobile, webcam, encoder and console routes; an encoder route can support overlays and external hardware.
Eligibility to start a stream is not a guarantee of uninterrupted 24/7 service. Plan for monitoring, power and internet disruptions, and a way to restart or recover the broadcast.

Prepare the playlist, stream and recovery plan
1. Inventory and document the content
Make a track-by-track list of the compositions and recordings in the rotation. Record the rights holder, permission scope, covered territories and term, whether monetization and archiving are included, and confirmation of Content ID allowlisting where applicable. Remove any item whose status is uncertain until it is cleared.
2. Verify the channel and choose the broadcast path
Complete channel verification and check for current restrictions in YouTube Studio before scheduling. Decide whether you will use Astra Streaming Studio on Android, a computer encoder or another supported broadcast method. If using Astra Streaming Studio, confirm its current version and determine how it connects to the YouTube stream configuration you intend to use; the app listing alone does not establish that compatibility.
3. Configure and test with cleared material
Use YouTube’s encoder workflow and the settings supported by your selected app or encoder. The cited Astra listing names protocols and encoding formats but does not provide a verified YouTube-specific settings profile, so do not assume a particular bitrate, resolution or keyframe interval from that listing. Check the current YouTube Studio stream setup and your encoder’s documentation, then test the actual connection with cleared material.

4. Make continuity operational
Decide who will watch for a stopped stream, lost connection, device restart or rights match, and how they will restart it. Assess the phone or computer’s power, network reliability, heat and unattended behavior in the location where it will run. A mobile app’s protocol support does not establish that it will recover unattended after a failure.
5. Decide separately whether to keep an archive
Confirm that your permissions cover recorded copies as well as live use before retaining an archive. Do not assume a single uninterrupted 24-hour broadcast will be fully preserved: the available YouTube guidance cited here does not settle archive length or current limits for a continuous stream.

The same YouTube help page announces updated YPP terms effective February 1, 2027, with acceptance required by January 31, 2027. Because those dates are future-facing, recheck the page and applicable terms near the time you publish or apply.
