To loop Telugu devotional videos on YouTube Live, prepare files you have permission to stream, load one video into an OBS Media Source with Loop enabled—or several into an OBS VLC Video source with Loop Playlist enabled—then connect OBS to a YouTube stream and test the picture, sound, and connection. A 24/7 broadcast also needs a computer or cloud encoder, power, network access, and a recovery plan that remain available; looping the files alone does not keep the broadcast online.
Prepare the devotional videos and confirm your rights
Organize and check the files
Put the finished videos in a stable folder, give them clear filenames, and decide the playlist order before you configure the scene. Play each file through from beginning to end, checking that the picture and audio work and that the start and end points are suitable for repetition. Keep the files in place after adding them to OBS; moving or renaming a source file can break its media path.
There is no established Telugu-specific export setting for this workflow. Choose a format OBS can play and a resolution and bitrate appropriate to the material and your connection; do not assume a particular preset is required. OBS documents its media-source options at Media Sources.
Clear the rights for every element
Before streaming, confirm you have permission for each recording, song, performance, image, and video segment for live transmission and, if applicable, an on-demand copy. A devotional or religious purpose does not by itself establish that you have the necessary rights. The applicable permissions depend on the material and circumstances, so this workflow cannot determine whether a particular license is sufficient.

Choose the right OBS loop
| What you want to play | OBS source | Loop control | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|---|
| One local video | Media Source | Enable Loop | Simple repeat of one file; it is not a playlist control. |
| Several local videos in sequence | VLC Video | Enable Loop Playlist | Supports a playlist, but VLC must be installed and available to OBS. |
OBS documents these controls and VLC availability for Windows, macOS, and Linux in its Media Sources guide.
Set up OBS and test playback
- Create a scene and add the source. In OBS, select or create a scene, use the Sources panel’s add control, and choose Media Source for one video or VLC Video for a playlist. Select the file or build the playlist in your intended order.
- Enable the correct loop option. For a Media Source, turn on Loop. For VLC Video, turn on Loop Playlist. Confirm the selected files appear and play in the preview.
- Fit the image to the canvas. Size and position the source so the video displays as intended in the scene. Check that no important visual content is cropped.
- Check audio and output. Play the source and watch OBS’s audio meters for activity. Listen to the output and check the stream’s resolution and bitrate settings against your connection and material; the cited setup guides do not establish a Telugu-specific preset.
- Run a short test. Confirm that video and sound are present and that the loop behaves as intended before the first public broadcast. OBS recommends a short test in its Quick Start Guide.
Connect OBS to YouTube Live
- Enable live streaming early. If this is the channel’s first live stream, YouTube says initial enablement may take up to 24 hours. Do not leave activation until the planned launch time. See YouTube’s encoder setup instructions.
- Create or select a stream. In YouTube Studio, open the Live Control Room and create a stream or select the one you intend to use.
- Copy the stream URL and key into OBS. Use the stream URL and stream key shown by YouTube in the encoder connection settings. YouTube describes the key as sensitive, like a password and address; do not share it publicly. If it is exposed, use YouTube’s stream-key reset flow. Details are in YouTube’s live-stream settings guide.
- Start the encoder and verify the preview. Start streaming from OBS, then check the Live Control Room preview for the right video and audio before you make the broadcast live.
Plan for continuous operation and the archive
A loop is not an uptime guarantee
For a local setup, the computer running OBS, the media files, power, and internet connection must remain available. A looping source can continue playing in OBS while the YouTube connection is interrupted; monitor the stream and decide in advance how you will respond to a source, power, computer, or network failure. The cited OBS and YouTube setup guides explain playback and encoder connections but do not promise uninterrupted 24/7 availability.

A cloud encoder can reduce dependence on a computer in the room, but the service’s terms, reliability, fees, storage, and recovery behavior should be checked directly. Do not treat any hosting option as a guarantee of uninterrupted service.
Do not assume a 24-hour broadcast will make a complete archive
YouTube’s encoder help says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That guidance does not establish that one continuous broadcast lasting longer than 12 hours will produce a complete archive. If the complete recording matters, plan a separate local recording or appropriately shorter broadcasts, and verify YouTube’s current workflow before launch. See YouTube’s encoder setup guidance.
