Netflix TV games let members in supported countries play selected games through the Netflix app on a compatible TV or streaming device, using a phone or tablet as the controller. To start, open Netflix, choose a profile, select a game marked Play Game, then scan the on-screen QR code with each player’s mobile device. The feature is included with Netflix membership, but not every Netflix game works on a TV.
How Netflix TV games work
The TV displays the game while each player uses a phone or tablet as a controller. Netflix’s instructions require QR-code pairing; a conventional gamepad or other controller is not supported for TV games. You do not need to buy a console or special controller to use the feature.
Netflix announced its TV party-game slate on October 9, 2025. In its December 8, 2025 guide, the company said TV play had arrived. On June 4, 2026, it announced FIFA World Cup: Launch Edition, another phone-controlled TV game, and said it was available in 20 countries at that time. The catalog and country availability can change, so the Games area in your own Netflix account is the practical check for what you can play.
How to start a game and pair your phone
- Open Netflix on your TV or streaming device. Choose a profile.
- Open Games. Find the Games option or Games row, choose a title with a Play Game button, and launch it.
- Scan the TV’s QR code. Use a phone or tablet for each player and follow the pairing prompts. On Android, scan with the camera and open the link. On iPhone or iPad, scan the code and open the Netflix controller pop-up.
- Use the mobile device as the controller. Follow the controls shown on its screen and the game instructions on the TV.
Netflix recommends a stable internet connection with download speeds of 10 Mbps or higher. That is the company’s recommendation, not a guarantee that every connection below 10 Mbps will fail.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)

Country availability
Netflix’s Help Center listed TV and computer games in these 20 countries when accessed on October 8, 2026: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States. Netflix says more countries may be added. Check the live Netflix Help Center page on playing games on TVs and computers for the current list.
TV and device compatibility
After choosing a profile, look for Games at the top of the Netflix screen. Netflix also provides a compatibility tool and notes that a software update may be needed. Whether Games appears can depend on the device’s hardware capability and manufacture year. Check your country, exact TV or streaming-device model, Netflix app and software version before considering new hardware. The Help Center’s compatibility information is the place to verify a device.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
TV games are not the same as Netflix mobile games
Netflix offers games that are meant to be downloaded and played on a phone or tablet, as well as titles playable on a TV. A game appearing in Netflix’s mobile-games catalog does not mean it can be launched on a television. On TV, look for a Play Game button; if it is absent, the title may be mobile-only. Netflix distinguishes these formats in its guide to games on TV and Netflix.com.
Which TV game should you choose?
Netflix’s July 28, 2026 party-game guide listed these five games as playable on TVs and in browsers at that time. The player counts below are the counts stated in that guide; the current catalog may differ.

Netflix presents TV games as an included way to play selected titles with phones as controllers. Its official guidance gives a recommended connection speed and device-compatibility checks, but does not establish measured comparisons for latency, picture quality or performance. There is also no adoption figure in the cited official material to use as a measure of how many members play.
