BoxCast documents a separate option for scheduling an uploaded video or rebroadcast as a simulated-live broadcast; its instructions do not confirm that this workflow continuously loops a YouTube playlist.
Choose the result you want
| Goal | Use | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Repeat a playlist during ordinary YouTube playback | YouTube’s player | Repeats the playlist for the viewer. |
| Schedule prerecorded material to appear as a live broadcast | BoxCast’s scheduled-broadcast workflow | Uses an uploaded video or previous stream as a simulated-live source. The reviewed instructions do not confirm continuous playlist looping. |
These are different workflows: YouTube’s repeat control is in the viewer’s player, while BoxCast’s source and destination settings are part of broadcast scheduling in its Dashboard.
Loop a playlist in YouTube
On a computer
- Open a video that belongs to the playlist.
- Expand the playlist panel to the right of the player.
- Select the playlist’s Loop control.
Make sure you select the playlist control, not the separate option for looping only the current video. YouTube’s instructions for these controls are at Loop videos or playlists on YouTube – Computer.
On a TV or gaming console
- Choose and play the playlist.
- Open the playback controls with your remote or controller.
- Select Repeat until the control indicates Repeat • Playlist.
That playlist state is distinct from repeating just the currently playing video. The cited YouTube help page covers computer and television or console controls; it does not establish current mobile button placement.

Schedule prerecorded video with BoxCast
BoxCast’s documented prerecorded-video path is to schedule a broadcast and choose a source. Its guide says you can rebroadcast a previous stream or upload a video and play it as if live. The scheduling guide does not state that this source can be an endlessly repeating YouTube playlist.
- In the BoxCast Dashboard, schedule a broadcast.
- Choose the source: a previous stream to rebroadcast, an uploaded video, or the appropriate source or encoder for your production.
- Configure the broadcast destination. BoxCast says broadcasts go to the BoxCast embed and can also be sent to configured social-media or RTMP destinations.
- If sending to YouTube, set up the destination through Settings > Integrations, then select it when scheduling the broadcast. Check the current Dashboard settings and integration options for your account.
BoxCast’s onboarding guide describes setting up YouTube and other social-media destinations through Settings > Integrations before scheduling and choosing the destination: Get Started with BoxCast. Its scheduling instructions explain the uploaded-video and rebroadcast sources: Scheduling a Broadcast.

So, if you want an actual repeating playlist watched on YouTube, use YouTube’s Loop control. If you want to schedule prerecorded content to appear as a live broadcast, BoxCast documents an upload or rebroadcast source with a configured destination. The reviewed BoxCast instructions do not verify continuous playlist looping through that simulated-live workflow; that documentation limit is not proof that no version or configuration could ever support it.
