You can loop a Gujarati guided meditation playlist in a YouTube livestream by playing local recordings through an encoder such as OBS Studio and enabling the relevant loop setting. A YouTube playlist’s repeat control is for ordinary viewing; it does not turn the playlist into a live broadcast. Before streaming, make sure you have permission to rebroadcast every recording and any music it contains.
First decide whether you need a livestream
If you only want to listen to an existing YouTube playlist on repeat, open a video in the playlist and use YouTube’s playlist Loop control. YouTube provides playback instructions for desktop and Android; its help page also covers TV and gaming console playback: Loop videos or playlists on YouTube.
If viewers need to see the meditation as a live broadcast, prepare recordings you are authorized to use and send them through an encoder. There is no Gujarati-specific change to the documented YouTube or OBS workflow.
Prepare and loop the recordings in OBS
Loop one recording
- Open OBS and add a Media Source to the scene you intend to stream.
- Select the local audio or video file for the meditation.
- Enable Loop in the Media Source properties, then confirm the source plays and repeats as expected.
Loop several recordings
- Install VLC if it is not already installed; OBS’s VLC Video source requires VLC.
- Add a VLC Video source to your OBS scene and create a playlist from the local files you are permitted to broadcast.
- Enable Loop Playlist in the source properties and preview the sequence, including the transition from the final item back to the first.
OBS documents these Media Source and VLC Video behaviors in its Media Sources guide. A loop repeats the media source; it does not keep OBS, the computer, power, or the internet connection running if one of them fails.

Connect OBS to YouTube Live
- Open YouTube Studio and go to Create > Go live to enter Live Control Room. Create or select an encoder stream.
- In the stream settings, copy YouTube’s stream URL and stream key into OBS’s streaming settings. Treat the key as a password: anyone who has it may be able to send a feed to your stream.
- Start streaming from OBS, then check the YouTube preview for picture, sound, and playback before starting or sharing the live broadcast.
YouTube says first-time live-stream activation may take up to 24 hours. Its encoder setup and stream-key guidance are in Manage live stream settings and Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder.
Check eligibility and rights before going live
- YouTube says livestreaming requires a verified channel with no livestream restriction in the preceding 90 days. Review the current channel status and eligibility in YouTube Studio before scheduling the broadcast.
- Confirm that you have permission to livestream each meditation recording, spoken guidance track, background score, and other included material. The fact that a recording is publicly available on YouTube does not establish permission to retransmit it.
- YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. If it detects a match, it may replace the stream with a placeholder, interrupt it, or terminate it. For licensed third-party content, the rights owner may also need to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. See Copyright issues with live streams.
Troubleshoot common problems
The playlist repeats for me, but there is no live broadcast
YouTube’s playlist Loop control repeats playback for a viewer; it does not send a live feed. Use OBS or another encoder to broadcast local media through YouTube Live.

OBS plays the recording once and stops
For one file, check that Loop is enabled in the Media Source properties. For multiple files, use a VLC Video source, confirm VLC is installed, and enable Loop Playlist.
YouTube does not receive the OBS feed
Confirm that OBS has the stream URL and current stream key from the selected YouTube encoder stream. If live streaming has not been activated on the channel before, activation may take up to 24 hours. Check the YouTube preview after OBS starts sending.

The live feed is interrupted or replaced
Check for third-party material that YouTube may have detected and verify your broadcast permissions. If the material is licensed, ask the rights owner whether your channel must be added to its Content ID allowlist.
