To find your Apple Music Replay for a particular month in 2026, open Apple Music, choose Home, and scroll to Replay: Your Top Music. Select Go back in time to view monthly listening insights. For a playlist, open the current-year Replay playlist, which Apple says is updated weekly.
Apple’s current documentation does not promise a separate personal playlist named “January 2026 Replay” or “February 2026 Replay” for every month. Monthly Replay generally means personalized statistics; the playlist is a changing year-to-date collection.

Monthly Replay statistics versus a monthly playlist
Apple Music Replay has several different components:
- Monthly Replay insights: Your top songs, artists, and albums for an available month, based on your listening activity.
- Current-year Replay playlist: A personalized playlist of your top songs for the year so far. Apple says it is updated weekly, so it is not necessarily a permanent monthly snapshot.
- All Time Replay: A playlist based on your most-played music across your Apple Music history.
- Previous-year Replay playlists: Older annual Replay playlists that may appear in the Replay section.
- Replay Monthly: An Apple-curated editorial playlist. It is not generated from your personal listening history. Apple describes it on its Apple Music page.
Therefore, if you want to know what you listened to most in a specific month, use Replay’s statistics experience. If you want music to play, open the current-year personalized playlist.

How Apple calculates monthly Replay
According to Apple, Replay uses your Apple Music listening history, play counts, and time spent listening. Those signals help determine rankings for songs, albums, artists, playlists, genres, and stations.
Replay does not simply create a list of every song you played. A monthly ranking is listening-history data presented as an insight; it does not necessarily correspond to a separate playlist object that remains fixed for that month.

Apple says Replay becomes available after you have played enough music to become eligible, but its current support instructions do not state a universal number of songs, minutes, or days. Recently played music may also take time to appear, and Apple does not publish a guaranteed refresh interval for every update.

- Tap the Add button on iPhone, iPad, or Android.
- On Mac or the web, choose + Add when that option appears.
Adding the current-year playlist does not guarantee a frozen monthly copy. Because Apple updates that playlist weekly, copy its songs into a new personal playlist if you need an unchanging record of what was shown at a particular time. That manual copy is a practical workaround, not a documented monthly-archive feature.

Share your Replay
Apple supports several types of sharing:
- Playlist: Open the Replay playlist and use its share option to send it to Instagram, Facebook, or another available service.
- Monthly insight: Share a particular statistic or milestone from the Replay experience.
- Highlight Reel: On iOS or Android, share the personalized video after it finishes preparing.
The exact share buttons depend on the device, app version, and services installed.

- Check the Apple Account. On the Replay website especially, use the account associated with your Apple Music subscription. Using a different account can show no personal Replay data.
- Confirm subscription access. Apple Music availability and subscription features can differ by country or region.
- Update everything. Install available updates for Apple Music and your device’s operating system.
- Turn on listening history on every device. Replay needs the listening data Apple Music records.
- Keep listening. Apple requires enough listening activity for eligibility, but does not specify a single threshold.
- Check both routes. Look in Home > Replay: Your Top Music and at replay.music.apple.com.
- Allow for data updates. Newly played music may not appear immediately.
- Check what you are searching for. If you expect a monthly playlist, look at the monthly statistics instead. Also avoid confusing Apple’s editorial Replay Monthly playlist with your personalized Replay.

How to see your January or another 2026 Replay
Open the Replay statistics experience through the Music app or the Replay website and choose the month that Apple makes available. Do not assume Apple will provide a permanent playlist with that month’s name. If you need to preserve the month, save the available playlist and manually copy its songs into a new playlist while the desired lineup is visible.
What you need to access Replay
You need Apple Music access, the correct Apple Account, and enough recorded listening activity to qualify. Replay is available through the Apple Music app on iPhone, iPad, and Android, as well as through the web experience. Availability and labels may vary by country, region, language, and software version.
For official, device-specific guidance, see Apple’s instructions for getting Apple Music Replay and the Apple Music support hub. If you do not currently have Apple Music, subscription availability, pricing, and any trial offers should be checked on the live Apple Music subscription page, since they vary by region and account.
