To request access to a Taylor Swift Ticketmaster presale, register through the link and during the window named in the official event announcement. Registration is not a ticket or a promise of presale access. Ticketmaster’s Taylor Swift Verified Fan instructions in the available official sources cover historical Eras Tour sales from 2022 to 2024; they do not confirm that a new registration or sale is open now. Check the current event announcement before acting.
How do I get Taylor Swift presale tickets?
- Find the official event registration link. Start with Taylor Swift’s or Ticketmaster’s event-specific announcement. Use the registration page linked there, and follow its stated dates and requirements. The historical instructions do not establish current dates or a currently open registration.
- Register during the announced window. Sign in to your Ticketmaster account, or create one, then choose from the show preferences offered and submit the requested email and phone information. A confirmation email means Ticketmaster received the registration; it does not mean you were selected.
- Wait for a selection or waitlist notice. Ticketmaster said it reviewed registrations to help distinguish individual fans from bots and professional sellers. When requests exceeded available tickets, some registrants were selected and others waitlisted. The sources give no independent estimate of a fan’s odds.
- If selected, follow the sale link and account instructions. Ticketmaster’s historical FAQ told selected fans to use the provided link, sign in to the same account used to register, and join the Smart Queue. It also advised staying on the page rather than refreshing. Those queue instructions, including the historical waiting-room timing, may differ for a future event; follow the current event’s directions.
- Try to purchase when your turn arrives. Ticketmaster described tickets as first come, first served while inventory remained. Selection or queue access does not guarantee that tickets will still be available when you can buy.
Which code should I use?
The phone authentication code used during registration is not the presale purchase code. In its 2023 Taylor Swift announcement, Ticketmaster said selected fans received a separate, unique alphanumeric access code and sale link; the registration authentication code could not be used to buy tickets. Use only the code and link specified in the current event notice.

Can I register more than once?
No. Ticketmaster said multiple registrations for one event do not improve the chance of receiving access. If you change your show preferences while registration remains open, Ticketmaster said it retains the last registration submitted. Make any changes before the stated deadline and avoid duplicate submissions.
What should I do before the sale?
- Sign in to the Ticketmaster account you used to register and check that your billing information is current; this was Ticketmaster’s advice for selected fans in its historical FAQ.
- Keep the selection message and sale link available, and use the account associated with registration.
- If a link does not work, check that the sale has started and that you are signed in with the email used to register, as Ticketmaster’s historical FAQ advised.
- If you are waitlisted, watch for a later invitation if tickets remain. An invitation still does not guarantee tickets.
Are old Taylor Swift sale dates and ticket limits still valid?
No general rule can be inferred from the historical instructions. Ticketmaster’s Taylor Swift FAQs discussed Eras Tour sales announced in 2022, 2023 and 2024. For example, the 2024 FAQ specified a four-ticket limit for the one show identified in the recipient’s message, and the historical FAQ said the waiting room opened 30 minutes before the stated sale window. Those were event-specific details, not standing rules. Confirm the sale time, time zone, ticket limit, access rules and queue instructions in the current official announcement.

What the 2022 sale figures do—and do not—show
Ticketmaster Business reported that more than 3.5 million people preregistered for the TaylorSwiftTix presale powered by Verified Fan in 2022. It also reported selling more than 2 million tickets on November 15, 2022, calling that the most tickets it had sold for an artist in one day at the time. In its account of the 2022 onsale, Ticketmaster estimated that about 15% of site interactions experienced issues. These are Ticketmaster’s historical company-reported figures, not current data or independent measures of selection odds.

Use the official announcement for the specific event to check whether a sale has been announced and whether it names Ticketmaster Verified Fan. Ticketmaster’s historical FAQ also mentioned limited tour-sponsored opportunities for particular shows, but it does not establish that any such opportunity is currently available. Do not rely on old dates, limits or instructions for a new event.
