There is no generally available, officially confirmed way to get JioHotstar Premium free in India in 2026. You may see an account-specific trial at checkout, or get a lower JioHotstar tier bundled with an eligible Jio or Airtel plan. Those offers are conditional, and a carrier recharge is still a purchase; a Mobile or Super benefit is not Premium.
Legitimate ways to check for free or included access
Check your JioHotstar account for a trial
JioStar’s India Terms of Use, updated December 24, 2025, say some plans may begin with a free trial. JioStar determines whether a trial is available, how long it lasts, and what content it includes; the terms do not establish that a trial is currently offered to every new subscriber or to Android and iOS users generally.
If a trial appears in your account or at checkout, confirm the tier, trial length, payment method, and renewal date before accepting. JioStar says billing starts after an applicable trial unless you cancel before it ends. Cancel through My Account, and note which company will handle billing.
Check whether a Jio plan includes JioHotstar Mobile
Jio’s offer page describes three months of JioHotstar Mobile for eligible customers on qualifying plans, but currently marks the offer closed to new subscriptions. The stated conditions include staying active on an eligible plan for the 90-day offer period and signing in to JioHotstar with the same Jio number. Because the offer is closed to new subscriptions, do not recharge expecting to claim it; check Jio’s own account channels for any current offer and its exact terms.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
This benefit is Mobile access, not Premium. A qualifying recharge has a cost, even if it means you do not pay JioHotstar separately during the benefit period.
Check Airtel’s eligible-plan offers
Airtel’s terms describe JioHotstar Mobile benefits for eligible prepaid and postpaid customers, and a JioHotstar Super benefit for eligible broadband customers. The listed prepaid examples are ₹549, ₹1,029, and ₹3,999, but eligibility and the specific offer depend on the customer and plan. Check the Manage page in the Airtel app for the tier and duration shown on your account. Compare the plan’s full cost with what you would otherwise pay; the benefit is included with an eligible service plan, not a free standalone Premium subscription.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
Look for the title in the free catalogue
The official sources available here do not establish which titles or live events are free in every region or at every time. Check the title’s listing in the app rather than assuming that a particular documentary, show, or event is included without a subscription.
What JioHotstar Premium includes and costs in India

Existing subscribers whose auto-renewal remained active were said to continue on their then-current plans and prices, so this table may not match a legacy account or promotion. Prices and features are from JioStar’s announcement.

| Tier | Monthly | Quarterly | Annual | Devices at a time | Content and ads |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mobile | ₹79 | ₹149 | ₹499 | 1 mobile device | All content except Hollywood; Hollywood add-on available. Ad-supported. |
| Super | ₹149 | ₹349 | ₹1,099 | Up to 2 devices | Mobile, web, and supported living-room devices; Hollywood included. Ad-supported. |

To decide whether a bundle is worthwhile, compare the total plan cost over the period you need access, the included tier and titles, supported devices, advertising, and the offer’s eligibility conditions. A bundle can remove a separate streaming charge without making the service economically free.
Android and iPhone billing: avoid an unexpected renewal
JioStar says JioHotstar is available on Android, iOS, and the web in India. App availability does not mean either app will offer a free trial. If a trial is offered, the billing route determines how to cancel:

- iPhone or iPad: For subscriptions billed through iTunes, Apple’s India App Store listing says they renew automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Check Apple’s subscription settings as well as the JioHotstar account so you know which billing route controls the subscription.
- Android: Follow the renewal and cancellation instructions displayed in the checkout and account settings for your actual purchase. Do not assume Apple’s 24-hour cutoff applies to Android billing.
Record the end date and cancel through the applicable billing channel before renewal if you do not want to continue. JioStar’s terms direct users to cancel through My Account; follow the instructions attached to your specific billing route.

Do not rely on modified apps, shared credentials, payment-bypass tricks, or unofficial “free trial” offers. The official terms and offers cited above do not recognize these as authorized ways to obtain Premium, and they may put your account or payment information at risk. Use only an offer displayed by JioHotstar, Jio, or Airtel and verify its tier and conditions before subscribing or recharging.
