- a wired connection versus Wi-Fi; and

Hulu’s current Live TV terms require a compatible device and high-speed broadband connection. Hulu also notes that higher-quality video and multiple concurrent streams may require more bandwidth. The important point is stability, not simply whether the device reports that it is online.
A wired connection can be a useful diagnostic when RUNUNK13 appears alongside buffering or failures in other services. If the problem improves only when the streaming player is connected by cable, a wired connection for streaming—such as a suitable Ethernet adapter—or a better-positioned Wi-Fi router may be worth considering. 5. Clear Hulu or browser cache and data
Corrupted local data can prevent a video session from starting correctly. Hulu maintains a current guide for clearing cache and data, and its Help Center also provides related guidance for browser cache, login problems, home-network issues, app startup failures, and app or system updates.
Use the option available on your platform:
- Android: open Settings, Apps, Hulu, Storage or Storage & cache, then use Clear cache. If that does not help, Clear storage or Clear data may be available.
- Fire TV and some Android-based TVs: open Settings, Applications, Manage Installed Applications, Hulu, then choose Clear cache. The exact labels vary by model and software version.
- Web browser: clear Hulu’s site data or cached files through the browser’s privacy or site-settings controls, then close and reopen the browser.
- iPhone, iPad, and platforms without a separate cache control: uninstall and reinstall the Hulu app if Hulu’s own platform guidance does not provide a cache option.
Clearing storage, clearing data, or reinstalling can sign you out and remove local preferences or downloaded information. Make sure you know your Hulu login details before doing it. Reopen Hulu, sign in again, and test more than one title.
Optional Windows maintenance step

7. Test another supported device
Use the same Hulu account on another supported device or browser. This is one of the fastest ways to separate a local problem from an account-wide or service-wide problem.
If Hulu works on your phone or computer but not on the television, concentrate on the TV app, device firmware, HDMI or network path, and model compatibility. If every tested device fails on the same network, test another network only as a diagnostic and check Hulu’s support channels.

If your current streaming device is the problem
When the existing television platform is obsolete, unsupported, or repeatedly fails while Hulu works elsewhere, a current secondary player can provide both a replacement and an independent test. Hulu lists Fire TV and Fire TV Stick among its supported platforms, and Amazon documents the Fire TV Stick 4K Select as a streaming device. Verify the exact Hulu support status, TV requirements, regional availability, and model compatibility before buying. A replacement player may isolate faulty hardware; it is not a guaranteed cure for RUNUNK13.
