In YouTube Studio, select the Brand Account channel, open Create > Go Live, then choose Stream in Live Control Room. The stream key appears in the encoder settings. If it is missing, check that you have an authorized channel role; Viewers and Viewers (limited) cannot access it.
Find the stream key in YouTube Studio

Sign in to YouTube Studio with the Google Account that has access to the channel. If it manages multiple channels, switch to the intended Brand Account channel and verify the channel identity before continuing.

Click Create at the top right, then Go Live to open Live Control Room.

Select Stream in the left menu. The stream settings contain the key used by encoder software. If the channel has streamed before, YouTube may load its previous settings, including the key.

Copy the key into the encoder’s Stream Key field. If the encoder also asks for a server or stream URL, copy that separately from YouTube; the URL and key are different settings.
Find the key for a scheduled stream
In Live Control Room, open Manage, select the scheduled stream, and inspect its stream settings. You can also reuse settings from a previous stream, including its key. Check that the selected stream and channel are the ones you intend to use.

Why the stream key may not be visible
Studio is on the wrong channel
A stream key is associated with the channel and stream selected in Studio. Switch to the intended Brand Account channel, then return to Create > Go Live > Stream.
Your channel role does not allow access
YouTube channel permissions do not let users with the Viewer or Viewer (limited) role access the stream key. Ask a channel Owner or another appropriately authorized person to manage access through YouTube’s permissions system. Do not share a Google Account password to solve a role issue. YouTube’s guidance says an Owner can manage live streams.

The Brand Account still uses legacy access
Brand Account user access and YouTube Studio channel permissions are separate arrangements. To manage delegated access through Studio’s channel-permissions system, the Brand Account primary owner must initiate the move in YouTube Studio > Settings > Permissions > Move permissions, then assign roles and invite users. Once access is set up, use the authorized account to check the stream settings.
Reset a key that was exposed or stopped working

Open the intended channel’s Live Control Room and select Stream.

Find Stream key and choose Reset. YouTube requires the person resetting it to be a channel Owner or Manager.

Copy the replacement key into the encoder, replacing the old one. The encoder must use the new key to connect.

Treat the stream key as a credential. YouTube describes stream keys as “like your YouTube stream’s password and address.” Keep it private; if someone else obtains it, reset it and update the encoder you control.
