To customize a Streamlabs Merch Storefront, first add at least one product. Then open Streamlabs Dashboard → Merch Store → Storefront to adjust the product layout, header, banner, navigation, theme, background color, font, and font color. Streamlabs specifies a banner size of 1106 × 508 pixels.
Before you start
Streamlabs says storefront customization becomes available once your store has at least one product. Sign in to the Streamlabs Dashboard, select Merch Store in the left navigation, and open Storefront. The support guide was last updated June 24, 2026; its original publication date was August 5, 2020.
Customize the storefront

Choose a product layout
Select clean, grid, or cards. Think about how many products you offer and how you want visitors to browse them; the guide does not claim that one layout performs better in sales.

Set the header and navigation
Choose whether the header uses your Streamlabs avatar or text. You can also show or hide product categories and the Creator Sites navigation bar. Categories can help visitors navigate a larger catalog; hiding them may keep a small store simpler.

Upload a banner
Use a banner measuring 1106 × 508 pixels, the size specified by Streamlabs. The support guide does not specify accepted file formats, maximum file size, or a safe area, so check the uploader’s current requirements rather than assuming them.

Choose a theme and typography
You can match the theme to your Creator Site, choose a premade theme, or use a custom theme. The custom background-color control is available only when a custom theme is selected. Choose a font style and font color to complete the look.

Check the storefront
Review the storefront after changing its settings to make sure the banner, text, product images, and navigation work together. Streamlabs’ guide describes the controls in the Storefront tab but does not document a separate publish or preview sequence for these settings.
Storefront design is separate from product design
The Storefront tab controls how the store is presented; it is not the product-art editor. To create or update a product, select an item in the Merch Store dashboard, upload artwork, use the editor guides to size and position it, preview the design, and finalize the product details before publishing. Streamlabs describes a 3D preview, updated text and image templates, patterns and embroidery or stitch options, resize/reposition/rotate controls, and clearer print-safe boundaries. Its guide says existing designs do not receive the editor updates; make a new design to use the described changes.

Product pricing and creator profit are set during product finalization. Streamlabs says profit is calculated after standard PayPal fees but does not specify a fixed fee rate in its storefront customization guide. The guide also describes custom product images for Streamlabs Ultra subscribers and an additional discount on merch items; verify current plan terms before relying on either benefit.

What happens after setup
Streamlabs says its store setup process takes under five minutes. That is the vendor’s estimate, not a guarantee for every creator. Merch purchase alerts can trigger automatically on stream. For promotion, Streamlabs describes a Twitch profile extension and merch commands in its discoverability guide. It also describes a YouTube merch shelf integration; check current YouTube and Streamlabs eligibility rules before planning around it. These are promotional options, not prerequisites for changing storefront settings.
Streamlabs’ seller FAQ gives production estimates of 2–7 business days for custom apparel and 2–5 business days for non-apparel. It says claims for misprinted, damaged, defective, or undelivered items must be submitted within four weeks of receipt. See the seller FAQ for its terms, and confirm they are current before relying on them.
