What’s actually slowing this PC down?

You can broadcast recorded Hindi coding lessons as a continuous YouTube Live stream by connecting an encoder or cloud streaming service to YouTube’s Live Control Room. YouTube supplies the stream URL and private stream key; the encoder sends the video. The part YouTube does not provide as a universal built-in feature is endlessly looping a prerecorded playlist, so choose a playback tool that explicitly supports looping and test it before relying on it.
What you need before you start
- A YouTube channel that is verified, has live streaming enabled, and has had no live-streaming restrictions during the previous 90 days. YouTube also sets a minimum age of 16 for live streaming. See YouTube’s live-streaming tips.
- Your recorded lessons, arranged in the order you want viewers to see them.
- An encoder or streaming service that can send video to YouTube and, if you want unattended repetition, can loop a playlist. YouTube documents encoder delivery, but not a general YouTube-native setting that loops prerecorded lessons indefinitely.
- Permission to use every element in the recordings, including music, sound effects, images, screen recordings, code examples, and any third-party footage or audio.
You do not automatically need a new computer: YouTube says expensive equipment is not necessary to begin. If you run the encoder yourself, the machine and network must remain available for the whole broadcast. YouTube’s cited guidance does not specify minimum CPU, memory, or bitrate requirements, so check the encoder’s current requirements rather than guessing.
Choose how the stream will stay on
Run an encoder on a computer you already have
This can avoid a dedicated hardware purchase if your existing machine can run the chosen encoder and remain on. Consider whether it can stay powered and connected continuously, and whether its heat, noise, maintenance, and network reliability suit an always-on broadcast. A UPS may help bridge a brief power interruption, but it does not guarantee uptime; runtime depends on the connected computer and network equipment.
Use a separate computer
A dedicated computer keeps the stream separate from your normal work and avoids tying up your main machine. It also adds hardware, power, and maintenance costs. No particular computer model or minimum specification is established here; verify requirements for the encoder and video files you choose.

Use a cloud service
A cloud service can play uploaded recordings without leaving your own computer running. For a service to meet this specific need, confirm that it supports YouTube, prerecorded video playback, playlist looping, the quality of your files, and recovery if the connection to YouTube is interrupted.
Prepare the lessons and protect the channel
Check rights before you schedule
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. If it detects a match, it may replace the stream with a placeholder and warn you; if the content remains, the stream may be interrupted or terminated. A license may not prevent that interruption if the rights holder has not allowlisted your channel. Read YouTube’s copyright guidance for live streams.

YouTube’s livestream terms say: “You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights for the exploitation of the Live Content on the Google Services throughout the world, including, without limitation, music licensing rights from artists, record labels, publishers (including public performance licenses) and any other royalty participants.” This is terms language, not individualized legal advice. See the livestream terms and conditions.
Make a playlist that can safely repeat
Order the recordings and decide what viewers should encounter when the sequence reaches its end. Confirm in the encoder or service that playlist looping is supported and enabled. Test the transition from the final lesson back to the first: if the playlist ends, an encoder may stop or switch to another scene instead of restarting playback. Do not assume YouTube will restart the recorded content for you.

Create the YouTube encoder stream
- Open YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room. Choose the encoder workflow and create a stream, or schedule one if you want a watch page available ahead of time. YouTube’s current interface labels can change; follow the encoder setup flow in Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder.
- Set the stream details. Add a clear title and description that say these are recorded Hindi coding lessons, and choose privacy deliberately. If scheduling, check the scheduled start time and public watch page before sharing it.
- Choose viewer settings. Decide whether to enable DVR, which lets viewers pause and rewind, and select a latency mode appropriate to the stream. YouTube notes that lower latency can increase buffering. Review Manage live stream settings.
- Copy the stream URL and key. In the Live Control Room, copy the ingestion URL and stream key into the corresponding fields in your encoder or service. Treat the key like a password: do not include it in screenshots, code, or public documentation. Reset it in YouTube if it is exposed.
- Prefer RTMPS when supported. YouTube describes RTMPS as RTMP protected by TLS/SSL. Use the RTMPS URL and matching encoder option if available; see Encrypt your stream using RTMPS.
- Set the encoder’s output using its documented settings. YouTube’s cited setup material does not establish a single bitrate, resolution, frame rate, or keyframe interval suitable for every recording and encoder. Use YouTube’s current recommendations and the encoder’s matching output controls rather than applying an unsupported universal number.
- Start the encoder and wait for YouTube’s incoming preview. Check that the correct video and audio reach the Live Control Room before starting the public broadcast.
Test the full loop and monitor the broadcast
Before relying on the stream, test it—an unlisted stream is useful when you want to check privately. Confirm that the picture, Hindi narration, and audio levels are right; that the lesson playlist advances; and that its final item returns to the first if looping is enabled. YouTube recommends: “Continuously monitor streams for audio and video quality.” Its computer livestream tips also advise checking that a local archive file is growing. See YouTube live streaming tips for computer.
- Watch the incoming preview for black frames, the wrong scene, or a stalled recording.
- Listen for missing narration, clipping, unexpected silence, or music that should not be in the stream.
- Verify that the encoder or cloud service continues after a lesson ends and behaves as expected at the playlist boundary.
- If saving a local archive, confirm that the file is increasing in size while the stream runs.
Plan for long-running streams and replays
YouTube’s encoder instructions say streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. An always-on broadcast can exceed that duration, so do not promise viewers one uninterrupted archive or assume a single replay will contain the entire run. Check current YouTube behavior and make a separate archive plan for lessons you need to preserve.

- Please Note: To reach 10Gbps speed, keep the cable under 3.3 ft. For USB A Male to USB C adapters, try flipping the USB C connector. USB C Male to USB A adapters support bidirectional 10Gbps transfer within 3.3 ft
Keep the stream key private and retain a way to regain control of the encoder or service. If you depend on a local computer, account for power, internet, software updates, and the possibility that the machine or encoder stops. A continuous broadcast is an operating setup, not a guarantee of uninterrupted availability.

YouTube shows no incoming video
- Check that the encoder is running and sending to the stream URL shown for this stream.
- Confirm that the correct stream key was copied. If it has been exposed, reset it in YouTube and update the encoder.
- Check the encoder’s connection status and the Live Control Room preview before starting or restarting the broadcast.
The stream starts, then stops at the end of a lesson
The encoder may be treating the file as a single item rather than a repeating playlist. Check that a playlist is configured, looping is enabled, and the encoder supports unattended playback across item boundaries. YouTube’s encoder setup itself does not create an endless loop.

Viewers report buffering
Check the encoder’s outgoing connection and video output against the current YouTube recommendations. If you selected a lower-latency mode, consider whether its increased buffering risk is acceptable for prerecorded lessons; changing latency affects the viewer experience, not whether the playlist loops.
The stream is interrupted after a copyright match
Review the flagged material and ensure you have the necessary rights. If you are licensed, contact the rights holder about allowlisting the channel; a license alone may not prevent an automated interruption. Do not simply restart with the same disputed material and assume it will remain online.
The replay does not contain the full broadcast
Check the stream duration and current archive status in YouTube. The encoder instructions describe automatic archiving for streams under 12 hours, not a guarantee of a complete archive for longer broadcasts.
Or let it run in the cloud
