You can broadcast a continuous YouTube stream of recorded NIOS lessons by using YouTube’s encoder-based Live Control Room and a playback system that keeps sending an authorized video playlist. Before setting anything up, confirm you have permission to rebroadcast every recording. NIOS warns that digital content on its official website is protected and that unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or display is prohibited. Online availability or educational purpose alone does not establish permission.

1. Confirm rights before preparing a playlist

Identify the rights holder for each class recording, as well as any third-party music, images, or guest material included in it. Confirm that the permission or license covers continuous rebroadcast on YouTube. NIOS’s Examination Portal notice says: “The digital content available on NIOS official website is protected by Indian copyright laws (Section 63 of Copyright Act-1957 or amended).” The notice also warns against unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or display. Ask the rights holder about the specific recordings and proposed use; do not assume that a lesson’s presence online authorizes a separate public stream. Read the NIOS Examination Portal notice.

If your goal is simply to study, NIOS also provides its own Virtual Open School and digital education and e-resource platform. Those official resources are for learners; they are not permission to rebroadcast their contents through a third-party YouTube channel.

2. Meet YouTube’s live-streaming requirements

  • Your channel must be verified and must not have live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days.
  • First-time live-streaming activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable it before your planned launch.
  • Use an encoder workflow: YouTube receives the video feed from a software, cloud, or hardware encoder. YouTube’s setup information does not provide a built-in 24/7 recorded-video playlist or guarantee an uninterrupted broadcast.

Check YouTube’s current live streaming tips before launch, since account eligibility and platform controls can change.

Elebase USB to USB C Adapter for iPhone 18 Pro Max,USBC Car Charger Adapter
  • Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
  • Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
  • Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
  • Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.

3. Prepare and test the authorized recordings

  1. Build a cleared playlist. Put only recordings whose rebroadcast rights you have confirmed into the rotation. Keep a record of the permissions and any applicable conditions.
  2. Check every file. Play each recording from beginning to end, checking picture, sound, and transitions. Arrange the intended order and decide whether the playlist should repeat or follow a schedule.
  3. Choose where playback will run. A local encoder approach requires a computer, playback system, power, and internet connection to remain available. A cloud service can host playback and transmission instead; a hardware encoder is another option if a dedicated appliance suits your operation.
  4. Test the whole chain privately or with an appropriate test setup. Confirm that the encoder can reach YouTube, playback continues through the end of a file and into the next, and you know how to recover after an interruption. Looping controls and exact setup steps depend on the software or service you choose. YouTube’s encoder documentation explains ingest setup, not a universal 24/7 playlist configuration.

4. Create the YouTube encoder stream

  1. In YouTube Studio, open Live Control Room and create or schedule an encoder-based stream. The available labels and layout can change; follow the current YouTube encoder setup guide.
  2. Copy the stream URL and stream key shown for the event into your chosen encoder’s streaming settings.
  3. Treat the stream key like a password. YouTube uses it to identify the feed sent by your encoder; anyone who obtains it may be able to send video to that stream. Do not publish it or share it with people who do not need access.
  4. Configure the encoder’s playback source to use the authorized recordings and the intended playlist or rotation. YouTube lists OBS as open-source encoder software, along with cloud and dedicated-hardware options. Exact playlist and looping controls depend on the chosen encoder or provider.
  5. Start the feed and wait for the Live Control Room preview. Confirm the picture and audio are correct before making the event public or announcing it.

5. Keep the stream monitored and plan for interruptions

A 24/7 output depends on the complete chain: the video files, playback process, encoder or service, power and network connection, plus YouTube ingest. A single setup step does not guarantee continuous availability. YouTube recommends monitoring audio and video, checking accessibility from the channel or watch page and on mobile, and testing failover where applicable. For unattended operation, arrange an operator or a practical alerting and recovery plan.

  • No preview or incoming feed: check that the encoder is running, the correct stream URL and key are entered, and the connection is reaching YouTube.
  • Picture but no sound, or the reverse: check the playback file and the encoder’s selected audio and video sources, then verify the preview before going public.
  • Playback stops at the end of a recording: check the playlist’s repeat or next-item behavior in the chosen playback system; looping is not configured universally by YouTube.
  • Feed drops during unattended operation: inspect power, internet, playback, and encoder status, and use the recovery process you tested. Do not assume YouTube itself will restart your playback system.
  • Stream appears live but cannot be accessed as expected: check the event’s visibility and the public watch page from another device or account, as appropriate.

6. Decide how the stream should be archived

YouTube can automatically archive a live stream that is less than 12 hours long. A stream longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all, so a single day-long broadcast is not a dependable complete archive. If you need a replay, plan separate shorter streams or make a local recording, and verify the current archive settings. See YouTube’s archive live streams guidance and live stream settings.
