How to Create a 24/7 Hindi Ghazal YouTube Live Channel from Video Files

A practical guide to creating a continuous Hindi ghazal YouTube live stream from video files, choosing local or cloud playout, and checking music permissions.

You can turn prerecorded Hindi ghazal videos into a continuous YouTube live stream by sending them through a local encoder such as OBS or a cloud playout service. A regular YouTube playlist is not a live broadcast: an encoder or remote playout service must send a continuous feed to YouTube. Before you start, confirm that you have permission to broadcast each recording and its underlying composition; owning or possessing a video file does not establish those rights.

Choose how the videos will reach YouTube

Consideration Local encoder Cloud playout
Where files play On your computer On a provider’s remote infrastructure, according to its description
Must your computer stay online? Yes, for the local workflow Looping Stream says its service continues playback without your computer online after setup and start
Main trade-off Direct control, but playback depends on your computer, power and internet connection Less upkeep on your machine, but you add a provider, its service terms and a recurring-cost consideration
A reasonable starting point You have a suitable computer and want to operate the stream directly You want remote file playout rather than leaving your computer running

These are workflow differences, not measured reliability comparisons. No evidence establishes that either route is universally more reliable. OBS is a free, open-source local encoder; its official site says it has no watermark or commercial-use restrictions: OBS.

Clear the music rights before scheduling a stream

A ghazal can involve separate rights in the composition and in the particular sound recording. You need to establish permission for the planned live use of the actual recordings, including relevant rights from artists, record labels, publishers and other rights participants, and check the territories covered. YouTube’s livestream terms say: “You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights for the exploitation of the Live Content on the Google Services throughout the world, including, without limitation, music licensing rights from artists, record labels, publishers (including public performance licenses) and any other royalty participants.” Read YouTube’s livestream terms and conditions and verify the scope of any agreement with the relevant rights holder or a qualified rights professional.

  • Make a song-by-song list identifying the exact recording and composition, and who controls each right.
  • Check that permissions cover YouTube live broadcasts, the intended territories, and any archived replay you plan to leave available.
  • Do not treat a file purchase, download, or “free” label as broadcast permission. YouTube says music is copyright-safe when it is public domain or used with the copyright owner’s permission; a “free” label alone is not enough. See YouTube’s copyright-safe music guidance.
  • Do not rely on Creator Music as a general license for this live use: its FAQ says Creator Music licensing does not currently support live content. Check the precise license scope directly with the rights holder. See Creator Music FAQ.

Prepare and check the video playlist

  1. Gather only files for which you have confirmed the necessary broadcast permissions. Arrange them in the intended order, whether you plan a fixed sequence or a repeating playlist.
  2. Play the files through in advance. Check that both picture and sound remain present across transitions and that there are no corrupt files, silent sections or unintended gaps.
  3. For a multi-file playlist, consistent codecs, frame rates and audio layouts may reduce compatibility problems. This is practical advice from a streaming vendor, not a YouTube platform requirement established here. See Looping Stream.
  4. Decide how you will respond if playback stops or YouTube flags third-party material. Keep access to the YouTube live controls and a way to stop or replace the feed.

Set up a local stream with OBS

  1. Install OBS from its official site. Open OBS and create a scene for the stream.
  2. Add a media source for the first ghazal video and configure it to play from the file. For a repeating program, arrange the playlist and playback behavior in your chosen OBS setup, then check each transition in a preview before going live.
  3. In YouTube Studio, create a live stream and obtain its stream URL and stream key. In OBS, open Settings > Stream, select YouTube as the service, and enter the connection details as appropriate for your setup. YouTube’s documentation describes RTMPS as RTMP carried through an SSL connection; use the server information YouTube provides for the stream. See YouTube’s encoder setup guidance.
  4. Keep the stream key private. Anyone who obtains it may be able to send a feed to your live destination. If you believe it has been exposed, replace it in YouTube Studio and update OBS.
  5. Start streaming from OBS, then confirm in YouTube Studio that the incoming feed appears and the channel shows the intended live status before relying on the stream. For continuous local playout, OBS, the computer, power and internet connection must remain available.

Use cloud playout instead of leaving a computer on

A cloud playout service runs the files remotely and sends the feed to YouTube after you configure the destination. Looping Stream describes continuing playback without keeping the creator’s computer online, but that is the provider’s description, not an independent reliability comparison. Review a provider’s service terms, controls and costs before relying on it.

Or let it run in the cloud

Your computer does not have to stay on at home; videos stream as uploaded, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot. StreamNeo says it automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card, one free day per account. Monthly pricing is $9.99 per month. See StreamNeo for details, then start your free day.

Monitor the broadcast and know what can interrupt it

Keep an eye on YouTube Studio’s live status after launch rather than assuming the feed will remain uninterrupted. YouTube scans live streams for third-party material. Depending on what it detects, it may warn you, replace the stream with a placeholder, interrupt it or terminate it. YouTube also cautions: “If your channel isn’t added to their allowlist, your live stream can be interrupted even if you’ve licensed the third-party content.” Ask the relevant content owner about Content ID allowlisting where applicable. If you leave the live stream archived, Content ID claims may also be made after it ends. Details are in YouTube’s copyright issues with live streams guidance.

Troubleshoot common setup problems

  • YouTube does not receive a feed: Check that the stream is active in OBS, the server URL and key match the current YouTube Studio stream, and the local computer still has power and internet access. Keep the key private while checking it.
  • A playlist stalls or a transition loses sound or picture: Play the files locally and inspect the transition. Differences in codec, frame rate or audio layout can cause trouble in a multi-file playlist, according to vendor guidance; test the files together before the broadcast.
  • The broadcast is interrupted over music: Treat this as a rights or Content ID issue, not merely an encoder fault. Review YouTube’s notice, confirm live-use permissions for the exact recording and composition, and check whether the owner must allowlist your channel.
  • A licensed stream is still interrupted: YouTube says licensing alone may not prevent interruption if the third-party owner has not added the channel to its allowlist. Contact the owner and confirm the correct channel is covered.
  • The video plays, but the channel is not live: A local preview or a normal uploaded playlist is not itself a live broadcast. Confirm the encoder or cloud service is sending a feed and that YouTube Studio recognizes the stream.

Questions to settle before going live

The exact songs, recording owners, composition rights, your country and the terms of any existing license determine what permissions are needed. Without those details, no general setup guide can establish that a particular ghazal playlist is cleared. Resolve the rights and territory questions before launching a continuous broadcast.
