Use Spotify’s mobile “Import your music from other apps” option if it appears in your app. Choose Amazon Music, authorize both accounts, select the playlist, and transfer it. Spotify documents this workflow and identifies Tune My Music as its transfer partner. If the option is unavailable, use Tune My Music or Soundiiz directly. These tools recreate playlist information in Spotify; they do not copy audio files, downloads, subscriptions, or listening history.
The quickest method: Spotify’s built-in mobile import
Spotify documents the import control for its mobile app, not as a guaranteed desktop feature. Before starting, make sure the playlist is visible in Amazon Music and that you know the correct Spotify account credentials.

- Open the Spotify mobile app.
- Tap Your Library.
- Scroll to Import your music from other apps.
- Select Amazon Music.
- Sign in to Amazon Music on the authorization screen and tap Allow when asked.
- Choose the playlist or tracks to move.
- Tap Transfer to Spotify.
- Authenticate the intended Spotify account if prompted.
- Open Your Library and check the imported playlist.
Spotify’s current instructions are at Spotify Support. The resulting playlist is assembled from Spotify catalog recordings, so it is not an audio-file migration.
If Spotify does not show the import option
Update Spotify, check Your Library rather than Search or Settings, and try the mobile app instead of the desktop client. Availability can depend on country, account, app version, and the source connection. If the control is still missing, start a browser transfer directly.

Tune My Music
- Open Tune My Music’s Amazon Music-to-Spotify page.
- Choose Amazon Music as the source and Spotify as the destination.
- Connect both accounts through their official sign-in or authorization screens.
- Select the playlist or other categories offered for your accounts.
- Start the transfer and wait for the results.
- Review the report and save the missing-track CSV if one is provided.
Tune My Music says it compares title, artist, album, duration, and ISRC recording identifiers when available. Its vendor-described security model uses official OAuth sign-in, but you should still review and revoke connected-app access when finished.
Soundiiz
- Open Soundiiz’s transfer tutorial.
- Choose Transfer under Tools.
- Connect Amazon Music and Spotify, checking that each is the intended account.
- Select Playlists, then choose the source playlist.
- Review the destination and start the transfer.
- Inspect successful, partially transferred, and failed items.
Soundiiz leaves the source playlist unchanged and transfers playlist or library information rather than audio. It is particularly useful for batch jobs, favorites, albums, artists, exports, and scheduled synchronization.

Tune My Music describes support for playlists, favorite songs, favorite artists, and favorite albums on this route; FreeYourMusic lists playlists, liked songs, and followed artists, with pair-specific differences. Treat those categories as tool-dependent rather than guaranteed.

Why songs can be missing or wrong
Transfer services match metadata against Spotify’s catalog. A song can be skipped or misidentified when:
- Spotify does not license it in your country.
- The services expose different title, artist, album, or duration metadata.
- The Amazon version is a remix, edit, live recording, alternate mix, remaster, or explicit/clean variant.
- The recording has no reliable identifier, such as an ISRC, or the identifier differs between services.
- The release is Amazon-specific or otherwise absent from Spotify.
- A source playlist is private, shared, or collaborative but the connected account cannot expose it.
Catalog availability is regional, so an exact match may exist for another country but not yours.
How to check and repair the Spotify playlist
- Compare the track count in both playlists.
- Sample the beginning, middle, and end of a long playlist.
- Check explicit versus clean versions, remasters, live recordings, radio edits, and remixes.
- Open the transfer service’s unmatched-track report.
- Search Spotify manually for each unresolved title and compare artist, album, version, and duration.
- Add a suitable alternate, leave the song out, or replace an incorrect match.
- Recheck the order after manual edits.
Keep the Amazon playlist until this check is complete. A transfer is a copy, not a destructive move.

Is converting an Amazon playlist free?
There is no universal price or unlimited-free promise. Spotify’s support instructions describe the built-in import but do not publish a separate charge or a universal size allowance. Limits, account problems, and security
Large playlists
Tune My Music states a current limit of 10,000 tracks for Spotify playlists and favorite tracks. Large jobs can also be slowed by matching work, API limits, service response times, or temporary restrictions. Test a small playlist first, then transfer large collections in batches.

Wrong Spotify profile
Family members and users with multiple login methods can authorize the wrong profile. Confirm the destination account before a large transfer. If necessary, disconnect or revoke the incorrect authorization, reconnect the intended account, and repeat the job.
Private or collaborative playlists
Support depends on what the connected Amazon account exposes. Tune My Music says its converter can support private, public, and collaborative playlists, but platform permissions still determine whether a particular playlist is readable.
Authorization hygiene
- Use only official OAuth or service sign-in screens.
- Do not enter passwords into an unfamiliar “converter” form.
- Review connected-app permissions after the transfer.
- Revoke access when you no longer need the service.
- Avoid unofficial converter executables.
Important distinction: transfer versus synchronization
A one-time transfer creates a Spotify copy. Later edits to Amazon Music do not update it unless you separately enable a synchronization feature. Scheduled sync can be useful for mirrored collections, but it may also add, remove, or change Spotify items later, so use it only when that behavior is intended.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I transfer an entire Amazon Music library?
Often you can move supported playlists, favorites, albums, or artists, but the available categories depend on the service pair and account permissions. A full library is not guaranteed to reproduce every Amazon item.
Can I do the transfer without a computer?
Yes. Spotify’s documented import path is in the mobile app. Tune My Music and some other services also provide browser or mobile-app workflows.
Will Amazon Music delete my original playlist?
No. The transfer creates a Spotify copy. Keep the Amazon playlist until you have checked the result.
Does the transfer work with Amazon Music Unlimited?
Access depends on the active Amazon account and what the connected service can read. Some transfer services state that an active subscription may be required where a platform restricts library access.
How do I transfer more than a free plan allows?
Split the work only if the service permits it, or use a paid tier. Current displayed limits are 200 tracks for Soundiiz’s free plan, 500 songs for Tune My Music’s displayed free allowance, and 600 songs plus one playlist for FreeYourMusic’s displayed free tier.
Can I keep Amazon Music and Spotify synchronized?
Yes, where Tune My Music or Soundiiz offers synchronization, but synchronization is a separate feature from a one-time transfer and can create later changes.
