Choose the streaming service and the music clearance separately. The service must keep the broadcast running, reconnect after failures, and handle the YouTube workflow you need; the rights holder or music library must explicitly cover your live use. A license by itself may not stop YouTube from interrupting a stream: for licensed third-party music, YouTube says the owner may also need to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist.
For a cloud service that loops uploaded videos on YouTube, StreamNeo is one option to evaluate for the streaming side. It does not replace music clearance. Before paying any provider, get written answers about continuity, recovery, archived streams, monetization, and who handles Content ID warnings and claims.
Start by separating the two jobs
A 24/7 music stream has two independent requirements: a technical service to send and maintain the broadcast, and permission to use every track in the ways you intend. A streaming provider can operate the broadcast without owning or granting the music rights. Conversely, a music license does not ensure the stream will stay connected or prevent an automated interruption.
- Streaming service: Ask whether it supports continuous operation, how it detects and recovers from failures, what it manages in YouTube, and what happens to archives.
- Music rights: Confirm that each track is cleared for livestream use in your territories, and ask separately about monetization, archived VODs, clips, and highlights.
Do not treat a provider directory listing, a “royalty-free” label, or a license for ordinary videos as proof that music is cleared for a monetized 24/7 livestream.

Streaming service to consider first
1. StreamNeo — cloud playback for YouTube
StreamNeo is a cloud service for keeping a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos: upload a recording or make a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. It loops the uploaded material from the cloud, so your computer and home connection do not have to stay on. It is YouTube-only and does not stream from a camera. Its reason to consider it first for this use is that it runs continuously from the cloud, supports uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and offers a free first day.
Each slot includes one always-on stream, 10 GB of storage per slot pooled across active slots, looping and playlists, automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream, and StreamNeo team support. The uploaded video streams as made, with no re-encode or quality tiers. Plans differ by duration, not by included features. Monthly billing is $9.99 per month.
Those are streaming features, not a music license. Clear the tracks separately, and ask the rights holder whether your channel can be allowlisted in Content ID. To review the service, visit StreamNeo; to start the free first day without a card, create a StreamNeo account.

Compare the service and the music rights separately
YouTube’s Services Directory is a way to find livestream-support providers. YouTube describes service categories such as creating and scheduling events, encoding broadcasts within its recommendations, and managing streams within a channel. A directory listing does not establish that a provider supports nonstop operation, offers a particular recovery process, or clears music rights.

The directory does not certify these. |
| YouTube Live Streaming API | A developer interface for creating and managing events, scheduling broadcasts, associating broadcasts with video streams, and inserting cuepoints that may trigger ad breaks. | The API is not a music license and does not guarantee uptime. | YouTube Audio Library | YouTube identifies its Audio Library music and sound effects as copyright-safe on YouTube; downloaded items will not be claimed through Content ID, according to its help page. | Check the track’s license. Some Creative Commons tracks require attribution in the video description; standard Audio Library licenses do not. Keep the required attribution with the stream description where applicable. |
| YouTube Creator Music | Its licensing and revenue-sharing options may be relevant to eligible video uses. | YouTube’s Creator Music FAQ says it does not currently support licensing for live content. Do not rely on it to clear a 24/7 livestream; access has also been described as a gradual rollout to YPP creators in the US, with wider expansion planned. |

Verify that the music is actually cleared for your stream
Understand what YouTube may do during a live broadcast
YouTube Help says all live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content, including copyrighted material in another live broadcast. If it identifies a match, YouTube may show a warning and replace the stream with a placeholder image. If the issue is addressed, the stream can continue; if the content remains, YouTube may interrupt or terminate the stream. A copyright or Community Guidelines strike can also terminate it.

For licensed third-party music, YouTube advises asking the owner to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. Without that step, a live stream can be interrupted even if you have a license. Keep the written license and allowlisting confirmation accessible while the channel is operating.
Check each use, not just the track
Ask the rights holder or library to confirm the specific tracks and uses in writing. A permission to play music live may not cover a recording left available after the stream, or excerpts reused in clips and highlights. YouTube says Content ID claims on an archived live stream are made after the stream is complete if you choose to archive it; that post-stream process is distinct from live monitoring.
- Is the exact track cleared for a live YouTube broadcast?
- Does the permission cover your countries or territories?
- Can you monetize the stream, and does the permission impose conditions?
- Are archived streams, clips, and highlights covered, or do they need separate permission?
- Will the rights holder add your channel to its Content ID allowlist, and when?
- What should you do if a warning appears or a claim is made despite the permission?
Use Audio Library tracks with their stated conditions
YouTube says only music and sound effects from its Audio Library are known to it as copyright-safe. Its help page says Audio Library downloads will not be claimed through Content ID. Follow the license attached to each track: some Creative Commons selections require attribution in the video description, while tracks under the standard YouTube Audio Library license do not. YouTube disclaims responsibility for problems involving “royalty-free” music from other libraries, so do not assume a third-party catalog has the same status.

Do not use Creator Music as live-stream clearance
YouTube’s Creator Music FAQ says the program does not currently license live content. Its licensing or revenue-sharing options therefore should not be treated as permission for a 24/7 broadcast. Availability may vary; check YouTube Studio for current access, but obtain a separate live-use license for the stream.
Read third-party catalog permissions narrowly
48Tunes’ published livestream permission is conditional: use eligible tracks available in its player at the time of the stream, play them through its official player, and comply with its Terms of Service. Its page says automated copyright or Content ID claims can still happen. Because the page does not separately establish rights for monetized streams, VOD archives, clips, or highlights, get written confirmation for each before using the catalog that way.

Ask the streaming provider
- Is continuous 24/7 streaming supported, and what service limits or interruptions apply?
- How does the system detect and recover after an encoder, server, or network interruption? What monitoring is included?
- Can it create or schedule YouTube events and manage the stream on my channel? What YouTube account permissions will it require?
- What happens to an archive or VOD, and which archive settings are mine to control?
- What does the provider manage, and what must I configure in YouTube Studio?
- During a Content ID warning or live interruption, who takes action, and what support is available?
Ask the music rights provider
- Which exact tracks are cleared for live streaming, and in which territories?
- Are monetization, archives, clips, and highlights included?
- Can the licensor add my channel to its Content ID allowlist? What channel details and lead time are required?
- If an automated claim or interruption occurs, who investigates it and what evidence should I provide?
YouTube’s Live Streaming API documentation can help you understand which event and broadcast-management tasks a developer or service might automate. It does not grant music rights, so keep that responsibility explicit in your agreement with the provider and your arrangement with the rights holder.
Keep records and prepare for interruptions
Before launch, retain the written license, track list, territories and uses covered, any required attribution, and the allowlisting confirmation. Agree in advance who will respond to live warnings and post-stream claims. For a claim or interruption, keep screenshots, timestamps, the relevant track information, provider logs if available, and the correspondence that shows permission and allowlisting status. Follow YouTube’s on-screen process and the rights holder’s instructions; do not assume that a license alone will make an automated match disappear.
There is no numerical provider uptime or performance comparison established here. Evaluate the actual recovery commitments, monitoring, support response, and rights workflow offered by each candidate rather than treating a directory listing or a general claim of reliability as proof of nonstop service.
