Cancel a Crunchyroll free trial through the company or service that bills it. For a trial started on Crunchyroll.com, go to Settings → Membership Info and complete the cancellation confirmation. Trials started through Apple, Google Play, Amazon, Roku, PlayStation, or YouTube must be canceled through that provider. Cancel before the renewal date shown in your account: trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled in time.
The U.S. offer checked on August 18, 2026, advertised a seven-day MEGA FAN trial renewing at $13.99 per month. Trial length, price, taxes, and eligibility can vary by region, plan, promotion, and signup channel, so use the renewal details shown for your own subscription. Check Crunchyroll’s current Premium offer and subscription terms.

First, find out who bills your trial
The device you watch on does not necessarily identify the billing provider. An iPhone user may have subscribed directly on Crunchyroll.com, and watching on Roku does not mean Roku handles the payment. Cancel with the provider that started the subscription.
- In a web browser, sign in to Crunchyroll.com.
- Select your profile icon, then open Settings → Membership Info.
- Check the listed membership or billing details. If the subscription is not shown there, check the confirmation email and payment history for the original trial. Look for a charge or subscription from Apple, Google Play, Amazon, Roku, PlayStation, or YouTube.
If you use more than one Apple ID or Google account, check each one that may have been active when you started the trial. A PayPal payment can still be for a direct Crunchyroll membership; do not assume PayPal itself is the subscription manager. Cancel a trial started on Crunchyroll.com
Use a web browser and sign in to the Crunchyroll account that started the trial. Follow the complete sequence:
- Select your profile picture in the top-right corner.
- Choose Settings, then open Membership Info.
- Select Cancel Subscription.
- Choose No thanks, Finish Cancellation.
- Submit optional feedback or choose Skip and exit.
Do not stop at the cancellation page or feedback prompt. Look for a canceled status or membership end date, and save the confirmation screen or email.
Cancel through Apple on iPhone or iPad
If Apple bills the trial, use Crunchyroll’s app to reach the Apple subscription controls, then confirm the cancellation there. The current Crunchyroll app instructions are:

- Open Crunchyroll and tap the profile icon in the bottom-right corner.
- Tap Membership, then Manage.
- Swipe to your current membership tier and tap Cancel Subscription.
- Scroll down and choose Continue with Cancellation.
- Tap Crunchyroll to open subscription management, then confirm Cancel Subscription.
If Crunchyroll does not appear in the Apple subscription list, check that you are signed in with the Apple ID used to start the trial. Apple may change its interface labels; follow the current subscription controls for that Apple ID.
Cancel through Google Play on Android
For a trial started through the Crunchyroll Android app, use the app to open Google Play’s subscription controls:
- Open Crunchyroll and go to your profile or account area.
- Tap Membership, then Manage.
- Select the current membership tier, then tap Cancel Subscription.
- Choose Continue with Cancellation and follow the link to Google Play.
- Confirm the cancellation in Google Play.
If the subscription is missing, switch through the Google accounts connected to your device and check their Play subscriptions. Google says subscriptions purchased through Google Play must be canceled in Google Play’s subscription controls: Google Play subscription cancellation guidance.

Cancel through Amazon, Roku, PlayStation, or YouTube
For partner-billed subscriptions, sign in to the account that started the trial, find Crunchyroll in its subscription area, and complete the provider’s cancellation or turn-off-renewal confirmation. Do this before the renewal date shown there.
Amazon
If the trial is a Crunchyroll channel or add-on billed by Amazon, manage it in the Amazon account’s memberships and subscriptions area. A direct Crunchyroll membership is different and must be canceled through Crunchyroll instead.

Find Crunchyroll in the Roku account’s active subscriptions and complete cancellation there if Roku is the biller. A subscription merely watched on a Roku device may be billed by Crunchyroll or another provider. Roku says free trials must be canceled before they end to avoid recurring charges; see its refund and trial policy.

PlayStation
Use the PlayStation account that started the subscription, find Crunchyroll in subscription management, and turn off automatic renewal or cancel. Menu names can vary by console, region, and web interface, so follow the current PlayStation subscription controls.
YouTube
For a YouTube Primetime channel trial, use the Google or YouTube account that started it. Open paid memberships or channel subscriptions, select Crunchyroll, and complete the cancellation confirmation.
Crunchyroll identifies these services as partner billing providers; their subscriptions are managed with the partner rather than on Crunchyroll.com. Its membership cancellation page links the provider-specific routes.

How to confirm cancellation
- Return to the billing provider’s subscription page and look for a canceled status, expiration date, or notice that renewal is off.
- Check your email, including spam and promotions folders, for confirmation.
- Save a screenshot of the status and any confirmation email.
Premium access generally continues through the end of the trial or current billing period after cancellation. Seeing Premium still available does not by itself mean cancellation failed; use the provider’s status and end date as confirmation. Canceling stops future renewal, but it does not delete your Crunchyroll account.
If there is no cancellation button
A missing control can mean the trial is managed elsewhere, you are signed in to the wrong account, access comes from a gift card, or a transaction is pending. Check the original receipt, payment statement, Crunchyroll Membership Info, and relevant Apple, Google Play, Amazon, Roku, PlayStation, or YouTube account. Crunchyroll says a pending transaction can temporarily hide cancellation controls; wait 24 hours and check again. Its no-cancel-button troubleshooting page covers additional cases.
If you still cannot identify or cancel the membership, contact the billing provider. Crunchyroll Support can help with Crunchyroll account or transaction issues, but cannot manage a subscription billed through a separate partner service.
If you were charged after canceling
First identify who processed the charge. Compare the statement descriptor with your Crunchyroll account and each relevant provider’s subscription list. A charge can happen if cancellation came after renewal, payment was already processing, another account remains active, or a separate partner subscription was not canceled.

- Check the card, bank, or PayPal statement for the billing descriptor.
- Check Crunchyroll Membership Info and the subscription pages for Apple, Google Play, Amazon, Roku, PlayStation, and YouTube accounts that may have been used.
- Gather the receipt, cancellation confirmation, screenshots, and dates.
- Contact the provider that processed the payment about a refund. If the charge was direct from Crunchyroll, contact Crunchyroll Support; for partner billing, contact that partner.
Canceling renewal and getting a refund are separate matters. Refund eligibility depends on the billing provider, location, timing, usage, and applicable law; a refund is not guaranteed. Crunchyroll’s terms describe a statutory cancellation-period refund process through its Help Center, but eligibility must be assessed for the individual case.
Can you pause instead?
Crunchyroll currently says pausing is available only for subscriptions billed through Google Play, not for trials or most other payment methods. Use a pause only if Google Play displays that option for your membership; otherwise cancel to stop renewal.
