In LiveReacting Studio, add a separate Audio Playlist layer for your music and keep your videos in a Video Playlist layer. Add and order the tracks, set looping and volume, then check that the music license permits use in your live stream.
Add an Audio Playlist layer
- In the LiveReacting editor, click New Layer in the sidebar, choose Audio, then Audio Playlist. The file manager opens so you can choose available audio files. LiveReacting’s Audio Playlists documentation describes this component as a way to queue tracks that play back-to-back during a live broadcast.
- Click Add audio files and select the tracks. They are added in selection order. Drag the handle beside a track to reorder it. Use the sidebar controls to preview, rename, or remove tracks.
- Choose whether to enable Play in loop. When enabled, the playlist starts over after its final track; when disabled, playback stops at the end. LiveReacting’s current component documentation says looping is enabled by default.
- Adjust the playlist volume in the sidebar. The documented scale is 0–10, with a default of 6; raising the volume above zero unmutes the layer.
- Optionally show the current track name, a progress bar, or cover image. The track-name style can also be customized.
- If the playlist should be present across multiple scenes, pin the layer. LiveReacting’s Audio Playlist setup guide covers adding the layer to a stream.
Keep videos and music in their proper layers
Use a Video Playlist layer for the video files. It queues videos in order and can loop them or switch to another scene when playback ends; see LiveReacting’s Video Playlists documentation. The Audio Playlist independently queues music tracks.
A scene can have only one audio source at a time according to LiveReacting’s Audio Playlist documentation. If the scene already contains an Audio File or another Audio Playlist layer, the Audio Playlist option is unavailable. Remove or replace the existing audio source before adding the playlist.
Check music rights before going live
A track being available for ordinary YouTube videos does not establish that it is cleared for a live broadcast. YouTube’s Creator Music usage details say Creator Music tracks cannot be used in live streams or Shorts. That page describes availability for U.S. creators in the YouTube Partner Program, with expansion outside the U.S. pending; eligibility and terms may therefore depend on territory.

YouTube says the Audio Library in YouTube Studio contains production music and sound effects that it considers copyright-safe for YouTube. Some tracks require attribution under Creative Commons terms, and the Library provides attribution information. YouTube cautions that it cannot vouch for music from other libraries or channels. - Confirm that the license permits use in a live stream on the platform you are using.
- Check whether monetization is allowed, and whether the license covers your territory.
- Follow any attribution requirements.
- Check whether rights also cover a saved replay or video-on-demand (VOD).
A “royalty-free” label by itself does not answer those questions; rely on the track’s actual terms.
