Will Parfitt said he turned a lockdown-era TikTok following into income through several strands of work: live performances with Magic Men, hen-party bookings and merchandise sales. In a PerthNow interview published on 8 December 2021, he said his merchandise store had brought in his “first million dollars,” including about $500,000 from sex toys and up to $100,000 from calendars. Those were Parfitt’s claims, not independently verified earnings or a measure of his current income.
How Parfitt said TikTok took off
Parfitt told PerthNow that he began posting on TikTok because he was bored while pandemic lockdowns had stopped performances. Viewers’ comments comparing him to Channing Tatum helped the account take off, he said.
He described the timing as a practical push to find income when live work had stalled: “The industry was dead during the pandemic and I thought I needed to find a way to make (my following) into money and we found out that ‘sex’ was the most Googled thing during lockdown.”
Where the money came from, according to the 2021 interview
Parfitt’s account of his earnings combined merchandise with performance work. The interview did not provide financial records, define a reporting period for the “first million” claim or establish whether the figures were gross sales, profit or money personally received.

The amounts should not be added together into a verified total or treated as a net-worth estimate. The profile also mentioned car air fresheners among the merchandise, but supplied no separate earnings figure for them.
Performance work was part of the act
Parfitt was not described as making money from social media alone. PerthNow reported that he performed with touring show Magic Men and took hen-party bookings. For those events, the Channing Tatum resemblance informed the character and styling: the most requested costume was inspired by Tatum’s Magic Mike look, with baggy sweatpants, a bandana and a red baseball cap.

Why he said resemblance was not enough
Parfitt pushed back on the idea that looking like Tatum was the whole explanation for his success. “I hate when people say ‘you’re just lucky because you look like Channing Tatum’. I can’t just rely on my face, I go to the gym, I work on my shows – I’ve had to work at making it a thing,” he told PerthNow.
His account presents the lookalike angle as an attention-getter, not a complete business model: performance, developing the show and selling products were also part of how he said he converted attention into earnings.
