Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour ended in Vancouver on December 8, 2024. Taylor Swift Touring reported ticket sales of $2,077,618,725, while Pollstar published a separate estimate of $2,201,107,485 in gross. Both figures describe ticket revenue—not Swift’s personal earnings or the tour’s profit.
How much did the Eras Tour gross?
There are two widely reported final figures, and they should not be combined or treated as interchangeable. ABC News reported that Taylor Swift Touring gave the tour’s ticket-sales total as $2,077,618,725, with attendance of 10,168,008. Pollstar’s year-end release put its estimated gross at $2,201,107,485, with about 10.05 million tickets.

Pollstar’s December 9 article also described its final tally in rounded terms as $2.2 billion and 10.055 million tickets. That article said the estimate drew on box-office reports and research into market ticket prices, venue capacities, premium seating, and comparable tours. The more precise year-end figure is still Pollstar’s estimate, not a second reported Taylor Swift Touring total. Pollstar’s final-tour estimate
The gap between the two precise gross figures is $123,488,760, calculated by subtracting the Taylor Swift Touring figure reported by ABC News from Pollstar’s estimate. It is a difference between two published figures, not a separate reported revenue total.

Why are the totals different?
The figures come from different sources and describe different kinds of accounting: ABC News attributed its ticket-sales total to Taylor Swift Touring, while Pollstar labeled its number an estimate. Pollstar’s year-end chart also has a defined reporting window that ends before the Vancouver finale; the separate final-tour estimate covers the tour through its conclusion. The two totals therefore should not be presented as if they were the same measurement taken on the same basis.
Pollstar said its annual chart estimate combines actual box-office reports with estimated ticket counts based on venue capacities, historical venue-sales data, and other research. The AP likewise described Pollstar’s worldwide figure as an estimate and reported a Pollstar estimate of $1.04 billion for the North American leg. Associated Press report
Does $2 billion mean Taylor Swift personally made $2 billion?
No. Gross ticket sales are money generated by ticket purchases before accounting for costs and contractual arrangements. The published totals do not establish how much Swift personally received, whether the tour made a profit, or what remained after production, venue, promoter, crew, tax, and other expenses. The cited reports do not provide an audited profit calculation, so a personal-earnings figure or profit margin cannot be derived from these grosses.
How big was the tour?
Pollstar says the Eras Tour began March 17, 2023, and played 149 shows across 51 stadiums, routing through North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia over 21 months and five continents. Its account describes a roughly 3.5-hour performance of about 40 songs, divided into 10 sections corresponding to Swift’s albums. Pollstar’s tour overview

The finale was the third consecutive Vancouver show at BC Place Stadium, on December 8, 2024. During the show, Swift said, “We got to perform for over 10 million people on this tour.” That rounded onstage remark differs slightly from ABC News’s reported attendance total of 10,168,008, and from Pollstar’s estimate of about 10.05 million tickets. Pollstar editor-in-chief Andy Gensler called the tour’s “$2 billion-plus estimated gross” the highest of all time and nearly double the second-highest-grossing tour. That characterization is Pollstar’s ranking of estimated tour gross; it does not turn gross ticket sales into net profit or take-home pay.
