Net worth refers to assets minus liabilities, but neither Just Jared nor the cited Celebrity Net Worth profile provides an audited balance sheet for these performers. Public estimates do not establish their current assets, debts, taxes, investments, residuals or ownership stakes. Celebrity Net Worth says its estimates draw on public sources and, when supplied, private tips or feedback, and that amounts are estimates unless otherwise indicated. Accordingly, this is a ranking of figures published by Just Jared, not a verified ranking of actual wealth, total career earnings or financial success. The estimates also do not reveal how much any performer earned specifically from the sitcom.

How I Met Your Mother premiered on CBS on September 19, 2005, and concluded on March 31, 2014, after nine seasons. Its five central performers were Radnor, Segel, Smulders, Harris and Hannigan; the published ranking also includes Milioti, who played the Mother, and Saget, who narrated older Ted’s story.

Celebrity Net Worth reports that the five principal performers were making $250,000 per episode by the final season, attributing that salary figure to Harris’s interviews. The direct interview source is not established here, so treat it as secondary reporting rather than a verified contract figure. The show’s end marked a transition rather than a common career path. A contemporaneous TIME article published March 31, 2014 discussed then-upcoming work, including Radnor’s writing and directing, Smulders’s Marvel appearances, Harris’s film and Broadway work, Hannigan’s television plans, Segel’s films and planned young-adult novels, and Milioti’s projects. Those were plans and projects discussed at the time, not a current account of each performer’s career.
