Director of photography Matthew Jensen offered a crew member’s perspective in a Washington Post interview. He said, “They both got along so well and have so much on-screen chemistry,” and described the pair as “both so funny” and “skilled comic visual performers” who complemented one another.
Jensen also connected their performances to the characters’ differing outlooks: “I think they both just really responded to the characters and the difference in the world views that each character had. Was there a specific behind-the-scenes moment when their chemistry began?
The interviews support a gradual account: Gadot recalled shared laughter during production, while Jensen described their rapport and the way their comic styles and characters’ viewpoints worked together.
