There is no recent direct statement in the available interviews that establishes how FKA twigs feels about Robert Pattinson today. Her clearest comments about their breakup are from 2019, when she described adjusting to life after a long relationship—and said she also found being on her own great. In 2025, she spoke about abusive fan attention from the period they were together, not about her feelings toward Pattinson personally.
What FKA twigs said after the breakup
In a 2019 interview with Zane Lowe, reported by E! News, twigs described the process of separating lives after a long relationship as “unmeshing.” She said that a couple’s friends, family and routines become intertwined, and that afterward a person has to work out how to build daily habits independently. She also described the small adjustment of no longer having a partner to call about everyday things.
That account was about the experience of a breakup, not a detailed judgment of Pattinson or a statement about how she feels now. Twigs also spoke positively about being single, saying, “I have a dog and we hang, and I feel like I’ve never known myself better. I’ve never felt younger.” E! News’ 2019 report preserves the context of those remarks.
What her 2025 comments about fan abuse mean
In a 2025 interview with The Guardian, twigs recalled abusive messages from some Pattinson fans during their relationship. Discussing online criticism and its effect on artists, she said, “This doesn’t bother me personally. I think it just makes it hard for genuine artists to stay original.” The comment concerns fan behavior and online culture; it does not say whether she resents, forgives, misses or feels any other way about Pattinson today.

The Guardian’s 2025 profile places the earlier abuse within a wider discussion of social media and artistic freedom. It does not offer a present-day personal assessment of her former partner.
Why her music is not proof of a current feeling
Twigs’ 2019 album MAGDALENE was discussed by critics in terms of heartbreak and lost love. Pitchfork framed the work as a heartbroken purge, while British Vogue situated her music within a broader personal and artistic history. Those readings can help explain why listeners connect the album with her relationships, but they are not a direct account from twigs of what she feels toward Pattinson now.

In particular, the cited coverage does not establish that a specific song, including “Cellophane,” is definitively about Pattinson. A listener’s interpretation or a critic’s description should not be treated as confirmation of an artist’s private intent. See Pitchfork’s 2019 profile and British Vogue’s 2024 interview for the distinction between artistic context and direct statements.
What the later profiles do—and do not—establish
British Vogue’s 2024 profile discusses twigs’ life and work after the relationship, including her then-current relationship with artist Jordan Hemingway. It quotes her saying, “The whole of my career I’ve been hunted for who I am dating,” in a discussion of disclosing that relationship publicly. The remark speaks to scrutiny of her dating life, not to her present feelings about Pattinson.
