Then watch through the Paramount+ app or ParamountPlus.com—not usually inside the Spectrum TV app or as a regular Spectrum channel.
The usual sequence is: Spectrum account → activate Paramount+ → sign in to Paramount+ with Spectrum as your provider.
Check whether your Spectrum account includes Paramount+
Paramount+ is not automatically included with every Spectrum service. Eligibility can depend on your Spectrum TV package, market, account status, and the current offer attached to your account. Spectrum internet-only customers should not assume they qualify.
Spectrum and Charter have described Paramount+ Essential as an included benefit for qualifying Spectrum TV Select packages and Mi Plan Latino customers, while some customers with Paramount+ with SHOWTIME arrangements may receive different access. Package names and included services can change, so your logged-in account is the final check.

- Getting set up is easy – Plug in and connect to Wi-Fi for smooth streaming.
Sign in to Spectrum.net or open the My Spectrum App. Look for Paramount+ in Services → TV/Streaming or Manage TV/Streaming. If Paramount+ appears with an activation button, your account is eligible for the displayed offer.
Spectrum’s streaming-apps page is another useful starting point. Menu names and deep-link URLs can change, so begin from your signed-in Spectrum account if an old link no longer works.
Activate Paramount+ through Spectrum
- Go to Spectrum.net and sign in, or open the My Spectrum App.
- Open Services, then TV/Streaming, or choose Manage TV/Streaming.
- Find Paramount+ among the streaming services available to your account.
- Select Start Now, Activate, Add, or the equivalent button.
- Follow the account-linking prompts. You may need to create or confirm a Paramount+ account.
- Wait for the activation process to finish before opening Paramount+ on your television or another device.
A successful activation should link your Paramount+ access to Spectrum without sending you through a normal paid retail signup. Do not start by choosing a paid plan on ParamountPlus.com if you have not first checked Spectrum.

Sign in to Paramount+ after activation
Once the benefit is activated, use the Paramount+ app or website:
- Install and open the Paramount+ app, or visit ParamountPlus.com’s sign-in page.
- Choose Sign In.
- Select Connect Provider, Sign In With a Partner, Sign In Through Provider, or a similarly worded option.
- Choose Spectrum.
- Enter the Spectrum username and password associated with the eligible TV account.
- Complete any remaining account or profile prompts.
The labels vary by device and app version. “Connect Provider” and “Sign In With a Partner” generally refer to the same provider-authentication function. Use your Spectrum credentials—not your Wi-Fi password or a separate Paramount+ password.
If your household has multiple Spectrum usernames, use the primary or authorized username that can manage TV and streaming services. A secondary household member may be able to watch but may not have permission to activate the benefit.
Where can you watch Paramount+?
Paramount+ is primarily a streaming app and website. Supported platforms listed by Paramount+ include compatible models of:

See Paramount+’s official platform information for current support. Compatibility can depend on the device model, operating-system version, region, and current app support.
Some Spectrum equipment, including supported Xumo devices, may provide access to the Paramount+ app. However, a conventional Spectrum cable box may not display it. Paramount+ streaming access is also separate from watching Paramount Network as a traditional linear cable channel. Do not expect a universal Paramount+ channel number.
What if Paramount+ asks you to pay?
A paid-plan or free-trial page usually means the provider entitlement has not been connected correctly, or that you entered Paramount+’s retail signup flow instead of the Spectrum provider flow.
- Close Paramount+ and return to your signed-in Spectrum account.
- Confirm that Paramount+ appears under TV/Streaming or Manage TV/Streaming.
- Use Spectrum’s activation button rather than starting a new subscription at ParamountPlus.com.
- Sign out of Paramount+ on the device, then choose the provider-login option again.
- Try completing activation from a phone or computer before signing in on the TV.
- If necessary, update or reinstall the Paramount+ app, or try a private browser window.
- Temporarily disable a VPN, ad blocker, private DNS, or unusual network filter.
If Paramount+ is clearly listed in your Spectrum account but Spectrum authentication still fails, contact Spectrum first. The provider controls the eligibility entitlement. Spectrum support discussions describe cases involving login loops, invalid-credential messages, and app reinstallation; these are possible fixes, not guaranteed solutions. Avoid duplicate Paramount+ billing
If you already pay for Paramount+, check who bills you before activating Spectrum’s benefit. The existing subscription may be billed directly by Paramount or through Apple, Google, Roku, Amazon, or another platform.
Do not immediately start a second subscription. Check the billing statement or the subscription settings for the company that charges you. If Paramount bills you directly, you may need to cancel renewal and wait until the current billing period ends before linking the account through Spectrum. If another company bills you, cancellation must be handled through that company.
Keep using the paid subscription until its end date unless its terms say otherwise. Then return to Spectrum’s activation flow and verify that Paramount+ opens without requesting a new paid plan. Spectrum’s provider-login guidance also warns about the interaction between existing direct subscriptions and provider access.

Included access is generally an ad-supported or Essential-level benefit when that is what your Spectrum account displays. Do not assume that an included Spectrum subscription provides Paramount+ Premium, SHOWTIME, downloads, 4K/HDR, or every live-TV feature.

Paramount+’s direct retail page currently lists the following prices observed in August 2026:

These are Paramount+ direct-subscription prices, not a guaranteed Spectrum upgrade price. Your Spectrum account should show the tier, upgrade availability, and any charge that applies to your account.
Charter and Paramount have described an opportunity for some Essential customers to upgrade to Paramount+ with SHOWTIME. Availability, price, and billing responsibility can vary, so confirm the offer before accepting it.
Common problems and their fixes

When subscribing directly makes more sense
A direct Paramount+ subscription may be more suitable if you have Spectrum internet only, your Spectrum TV account does not offer the benefit, you need Premium features unavailable through your offer, or you prefer direct billing and account management.
