From vow renewal to becoming parents
In May 2024, the couple announced a pregnancy and renewed their vows. The Associated Press reported that Hailey’s representative confirmed she was more than six months pregnant at the time. Their son, Jack Blues Bieber, was born in August 2024. Hailey and Justin had married in September 2018, according to Us Weekly.

The sequence matters: the vow renewal and pregnancy announcement came together, followed by Jack’s birth a few months later. Those events establish a significant transition into parenthood, but they do not, by themselves, show what changed privately between the spouses.
What the “total shift” report actually said
On January 8, 2025, Us Weekly quoted an unnamed source saying, “There has been a total shift in their marriage since renewing their vows [in May 2024] and welcoming baby Jack.” The source also characterized the baby as bringing happiness and a renewed bond.

That is an anonymous insider’s description, not a statement from either Hailey or Justin and not independent verification of the state of their relationship. The phrase supports describing parenthood as a reported turning point; it does not support treating every claimed improvement—or a crisis—as established fact.
Hailey’s own public account
In a Vogue profile published May 20, 2025, Hailey described her marriage as strong and said she was happy with her husband and family. Speaking about the life she values amid public scrutiny, she said: “My real life is that I get to wake up to my beautiful family and my son and my friends and I have people that know me and love me and I love them.”

Hailey also discussed the pressure of online attention and described much of the coverage about her as unreal. Her comments offer her perspective, rather than a complete account of the couple’s private relationship.
Later comments emphasize taking family life day by day
In a February 19, 2026 roundup, Us Weekly attributed remarks to Hailey’s November 2025 GQ interview. She said, “We’re just taking it a day at a time.” On sharing family life publicly, she said: “We both feel very protective of our son and I don’t think that’s ever going to change, but our life is our life and it is really public, so I think we’re just going to cross every bridge that we need to when we get there.”
