The American Chopper cast split into separate careers rather than following one post-show path. Paul Teutul Sr. remained associated with Orange County Choppers, Paul Teutul Jr. built Paul Jr. Designs, Vinnie DiMartino moved into automotive service, and Jason Pohl continued as an industrial designer. Mikey Teutul developed a podcast and creative-media presence, while current information about Rick Petko and Cody Connelly is more limited.
The cast of American Chopper did not follow one shared path after the original series ended. Paul Teutul Sr. remained connected to Orange County Choppers, while Paul Teutul Jr. built a separate design company. Vinnie DiMartino moved into automotive repair, Jason Pohl continued in industrial design, and Mikey Teutul developed an independent creative-media presence. The current careers of Rick Petko and Cody Connelly are less clearly documented, so claims about them require more caution.
It is also worth separating the end of the original American Chopper run from the end of the franchise itself. The Teutul family’s conflict continued to shape later programs, including the period often associated with American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior, along with subsequent revivals and renewed distribution.
Paul Teutul Sr. stayed associated with Orange County Choppers
Paul Teutul Sr. did not simply disappear from the motorcycle business when the show’s original run ended. His career remains tied to Orange County Choppers, the company he established after a background in steel fabrication and work connected with Orange County Ironworks. Orange County Choppers was created in 1999 and became the center of the television series.

The clearest current public-facing part of that business is the OCC Road House & Museum in Florida. The venue promotes Orange County Choppers motorcycles, events, concerts, group bookings, tickets, and merchandise, and identifies Paul Sr. with the Orange County Choppers enterprise.
That does not necessarily mean that Paul Sr. personally handles every day-to-day task at the venue or that the company’s corporate structure is simple. The available official material supports continued public and business involvement, but it does not establish the full details of his private finances, operating responsibilities, or ownership arrangements. It is therefore more accurate to say that he remains publicly associated with OCC than to describe him as retired, or to make unsupported claims about his current wealth or business disputes.
Paul Teutul Jr. turned the split with OCC into his own brand
Paul Teutul Jr.’s departure from Orange County Choppers was one of the defining conflicts of the franchise. The father-and-son dispute became television material, but professionally it also marked the beginning of Paul Jr.’s independent career.
After leaving OCC, he operated Paul Jr. Designs, a rival custom-design company. Rather than remaining known only as Paul Sr.’s son or as a former OCC employee, Paul Jr. used the show’s audience to establish a separate design identity. His company’s own biography describes work extending beyond custom motorcycles into cars, art, apparel, products, and creative marketing.
The Tool Desk
Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →That broader mix is important. Paul Jr.’s post-show career has not been limited to building motorcycles for television. Paul Jr. Designs has continued to present custom motorcycles alongside merchandise, artistic projects, collaborations, and branded products. The company’s current materials also show projects such as a challenge coin connected with the Troopers United Foundation.
In practical terms, Paul Jr. converted a very public professional break into an independent creative business. The exact volume and status of every project can change, but the larger career development is well supported: he built a brand separate from Orange County Choppers and continued working across design and media-related categories.

Mikey Teutul moved toward independent media and creative work
Mikey Teutul was one of the show’s most recognizable personalities, but his post-American Chopper path moved away from being a regular workplace character at Orange County Choppers.
His current public project, MikeyPod, presents him as a podcaster discussing art and activism. The site lists active episodes, including programming identified for 2026. That provides a stronger current basis for describing Mikey’s work than older summaries that simply repeat his earlier television persona.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesMikey has also long been associated with creative projects such as painting and gallery-related activity, but those older claims should be dated rather than presented as proof of a current gallery, company, or permanent business operation. The safest present-day description is that he has developed an independent podcasting and creative-media presence.
Vinnie DiMartino traded televised bike building for automotive service
Vinnie DiMartino left Orange County Choppers in August 2007 and founded V-Force Customs. His later career shows one of the clearest changes among the former cast members: he moved from the highly visible world of custom motorcycle television toward practical automotive work.
According to the current DiMartino Motorsports biography, Cody Connelly later joined him at V-Force Customs. Vinnie also worked with Paul Jr. Designs during the Senior vs. Junior period. DiMartino Motorsports is now described as being owned by Vincent DiMartino and operated by Vinnie and Jarrod Shorette.
The business focuses on service and repair for cars and light- and medium-duty trucks. Its stated experience includes auto mechanics, electronics, CNC operation, and programming. That makes DiMartino’s post-show story less about building a new television empire and more about applying fabrication and mechanical skills to a broader, functioning automotive-service business.

- Wide application: This socket wrench set is perfect for home improvement, carpentry tools, construction, auto repair, woodwork, and other DIY projects. This tool makes for a beautiful unique gift for men on various occasions like Father's Day, Birthday or anniversary.
For fans who remember Vinnie primarily as OCC’s calm and technically skilled fabricator, this is a significant distinction. His career remained rooted in mechanical and fabrication knowledge, but the public emphasis shifted from custom-bike episodes to repair, maintenance, and automotive technology.
Jason Pohl continued as an industrial designer
Jason Pohl’s work after American Chopper is best understood as a continuation of his design career rather than as a separate celebrity venture.
His official biography says that he worked as an artist and animator before joining Orange County Choppers as a lead designer. It also describes continuing design work for companies and individual clients. The show helped expose his design process to a much larger audience, but his professional identity extends beyond the television shop floor.
Pohl should not automatically be described as a full-time Orange County Choppers employee in 2026. The defensible current claim is that he remains presented as an active industrial designer whose career is connected to his time at OCC and whose work includes designs for outside clients.
Rick Petko’s current work is harder to verify
Rick Petko continued to be associated with metal fabrication, knives, and motorcycle-related craft work after his time on the show. However, current first-party evidence is not strong enough to establish a definitive present-day employer, business, location, or product line.
That makes Petko a case where many “where are they now?” accounts can sound more certain than the available evidence allows. Older secondary reports connect him with fabrication and a Pennsylvania-based business, but those details should be treated as dated unless confirmed by a current official business page, interview, or direct social account.

The responsible summary is therefore limited: Petko remained associated with hands-on fabrication and related craft work, but his exact current professional status should not be stated as settled without newer first-party confirmation.
Cody Connelly’s later work is only partly documented
Cody Connelly had historical connections to Orange County Choppers, V-Force Customs, and the later Senior vs. Junior era. DiMartino’s biography specifically says that Cody later joined Vinnie, which confirms an important part of his post-OCC history.

Reliable current information about Cody’s occupation or business status is more limited. It would be speculation to assign him a current employer, company, or trade without a recent direct source. The most accurate short version is that Cody worked with Vinnie DiMartino and appeared in the later Senior-versus-Junior period, while his present-day professional life is not well established in the available evidence.
The show continued through spin-offs, revivals, and digital availability
The original American Chopper series ended, but the franchise did not vanish immediately. Spin-offs, revivals, and later distribution kept the OCC-versus-Paul-Jr. story in circulation. The production description for the franchise continues to frame the central divide between Orange County Choppers and Paul Jr. Designs.
In the United States, current availability research lists the series across multiple streaming services and identifies digital purchase options through Amazon Video. Those listings are subject to change by country, season, licensing agreement, and date, so a service that carries the program now may not carry it later. A physical release can be a more stable option for viewers who want to revisit the original builds, although individual seasons and collector editions are not guaranteed to remain in stock.
For viewers specifically looking to revisit the early cast and builds, an American Chopper DVD is the most direct physical-media option. Season 1 DVD listings have been documented, but availability and edition should be checked before purchase.

The larger story behind the cast’s next chapters
American Chopper was built around a family business, but its aftermath was not one single continuation of that business. Paul Sr. remained linked to OCC, Paul Jr. established a competing design brand, and the other fabricators followed more individual professional routes.

Vinnie’s move into automotive service and Jason Pohl’s continued industrial-design work show how skills developed for television could transfer into less theatrical careers. Mikey moved toward independent media, while the available evidence for Rick and Cody is not detailed enough to support a confident present-day narrative.
That is the most accurate answer to what happened after the show: the cast did not collectively retire or disappear. They split into separate businesses, design careers, media projects, and— in some cases—professional paths that are simply less publicly documented than they were during the show.
