#1 Best Overall
- Japanese TV broadcast: The premiere was announced for Jan. 11, 2026, at 23:45 JST. Crunchyroll’s Nov. 28, 2025 report covered the Japanese broadcast and official schedule announcement.
- Crunchyroll subtitled simulcast: Crunchyroll announced the Jan. 11 premiere for 7:15 a.m. PT in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and CIS. This is the reported Crunchyroll release time, not the Japanese TV broadcast time. See Crunchyroll’s Jan. 9, 2026 announcement.
- Other streaming platforms in Japan: The official schedule quoted in Crunchyroll’s report said new episodes would stream Sundays at 24:15 on Prime Video, Netflix and Lemino. In Japanese scheduling, 24:15 on Sunday means 12:15 a.m. on Monday. This schedule is distinct from the 23:45 Sunday TV broadcast time. Crunchyroll’s report describes the announcement.
- Crunchyroll English dub: The dub began Jan. 25, 2026, later than the subtitled premiere. Crunchyroll’s dub announcement gives that start date.
Where can I watch Hell’s Paradise Season 2?
Crunchyroll announced the subtitled simulcast across the listed regions, and its English dub followed on Jan. 25. The Japanese schedule named Prime Video, Netflix and Lemino for Sunday episodes. Availability and timing depend on territory and language track; the announcements do not establish one universal schedule for every service and country. Check the relevant service’s listing for local availability.
Episode 1 review: what the available details establish
The episode listing gives a clear re-entry point rather than a detailed critical assessment: Shugen and Jikka’s mission to Shinsenkyo unfolds alongside the returning group’s confrontation with Aza Chobe and Toma. Episode 2’s synopsis then narrows the focus to the escalating Gabimaru–Chobe fight and Mei’s intervention.

Those plot details support describing the premiere’s setup and the conflict it carries forward, but they do not establish how well the animation, choreography, pacing or character work land on screen. A judgment on those elements requires direct viewing; this account does not claim to be a firsthand review.
