Their trip coincided with the Spilt Milk House Party at Kings Park on 16 and 17 November 2024. That event is over, and nothing below should be read as current ticket or schedule information.
What the visit involved
PerthNow’s report, published 17 November 2024, is an entertainment piece built on social media posts and a few sightings. It presents the activities as a list of things the artists did while back in Perth. The story is not a documentary, a guide or a review of any attraction, so it is best read as a snapshot of one week in the lives of two touring musicians.

A koala at West Oz Wildlife
PerthNow reports that Sivan held a koala at West Oz Wildlife earlier in the week of the festival. The visit rests on PerthNow’s account. The coverage does not reproduce the underlying Instagram post, and no statement from the wildlife park is cited alongside it.
A walk along the Swan River
The report also says Sivan was seen walking along the sunny Swan River. This is a sighting described by the publication rather than a documented outing with a set route or time.

A snag at Bunnings
G Flip, in an Instagram story quoted by PerthNow, said: “We’re in Perth playing a show tonight and we just drove past the great Bunnings so we’re all copping a snag right now.” “Snag” is Australian slang for a sausage, usually served in bread. The quote is PerthNow’s report of the story, not a separately verified transcript.
Sivan’s own caption, also reproduced by PerthNow, read: “Back in Perth and Yk what? Hell yeah”. That line is the source of the headline’s “Hell Yeah”.
The event behind the trip
The Perth dates were for the Spilt Milk House Party at Kings Park, held on 16 and 17 November 2024. The official Kings Park and Botanic Garden listing names Troye Sivan, Glass Animals, G Flip, Artemas and Sycco among the artists.
The event was not the one originally planned. PerthNow reported on 15 November 2024 that the House Party was announced after the original Spilt Milk festival was cancelled in July 2024, with Perth dates set for 16 and 17 November. That pre-event report also described Sivan being seen rehearsing at Kings Park.

- JOHN ELTON LIVE IN AUSTRALIA
A post-event review by The West Australian, published 18 November 2024, confirms that Sivan performed at Kings Park on both nights. In that review, he is quoted recalling childhood videos of himself singing at Kings Park as a three-year-old, and describing headlining there as “very cool”. That comment is as reported by the review, not a verbatim transcript.

Reading the “classic WA” framing
The phrase “classic WA activities” is the headline writer’s label, not a claim from the artists. The activities are chosen because they are recognisable to Western Australians and to visitors who know the state: a native animal encounter, time on the river and a sausage from a hardware-store barbecue. The story presents them as the things a returning local does, which is a light, personality-led way of covering a homecoming, not a travel recommendation.
