Heather and Terry Dubrow sold their Beverly Hills estate at 1501 Tower Grove Drive for $16.5 million in August 2025. Homes.com lists August 11 as the sale date; Bravo reported the sale on August 12. The price was below both the estate’s original $25 million asking price and its later reduced price of $19.995 million.

Sale price and listing history

The Dubrows bought the property in 2023. Homes.com records the purchase at $16.1 million; Bravo described it as $16 million. The property history shows how the asking price changed before the sale:

Event Reported price Source and qualification
2023 purchase $16.1 million Homes.com property history; Bravo separately rounded the purchase price to $16 million.
March 2025 listing $25 million asking price Homes.com property history.
May 2025 price reduction $19.995 million asking price Homes.com property history.
August 2025 sale $16.5 million Listed by Homes.com; Bravo also reported the sale price. Homes.com gives August 11 as the date, while Bravo’s report appeared August 12.

By arithmetic, the final price was $8.5 million below the original asking price and $3.495 million below the reduced asking price. Those are comparisons with listing prices, not calculations of the couple’s overall profit or loss.

What the estate includes

Homes.com lists the property at 8,997 square feet, with five bedrooms and nine bathrooms. TMZ rounded its size to 9,000 square feet and described ocean views, a full-size tennis court, a pool and a large terrace. These are reported property details, not the result of an independent inspection.

Why the Dubrows said they sold

On The Real Housewives of Orange County, Heather Dubrow cited renovation costs, the discovery of asbestos and the home no longer suiting the family’s needs as reasons for selling, according to Bravo’s report on the sale. The couple had made visible updates, including fresh paint and new floors, but did not complete the much larger renovation plan they had discussed. The asbestos issue is part of their reported explanation; it is not independently confirmed here as an inspection finding.

What they said about the loss

In later Bravo coverage, Terry said, “We lost $5.8 [million]. I’ll tell you why,” while Heather said they needed to sell for about $19.5 million to $20 million to break even after renovation costs. These are the couple’s reported figures, not audited totals or independently verified calculations. They also should not be confused with the simple $400,000 difference between the $16.1 million purchase price listed by Homes.com and the $16.5 million sale price: that comparison excludes renovation and other costs.

Terry called the project “a gigantic fail.” Heather advised, “You really have to vet your builders. It is imperative to go with people that you’ve worked with before.” Bravo reported these remarks in its coverage of the couple’s comments on their show or podcast. Who bought the home, and who handled the sale?

TMZ reported that the buyer was a non-celebrity from outside the country, but the buyer’s identity has not been established in the cited coverage. Bravo identified Josh Flagg and Josh Altman as the agents who helped sell the property. Homes.com lists Altman as the selling agent and Flagg as co-listed.
