What François Arnaud said about the extra footage
In a December 5, 2025 interview with Entertainment Weekly, Arnaud, who plays Scott Hunter, said he and Robbie G.K., who plays Kip Grady, filmed more intimate material than made the released episode. “We shot a lot more than there is,” Arnaud said, adding that they shot “like two days of sex scenes.” His wording makes the duration an estimate, not a confirmed production schedule. Jacob Tierney gave a much shorter estimate
A December 25, 2025 follow-up attributed a correction to showrunner Jacob Tierney: “His two days were like one afternoon.” Tierney reportedly joked that Arnaud was “being an actor,” while agreeing that more material was filmed than viewers saw. Which story the scenes belonged to
The interview identifies episode 3 as the Scott and Kip story, a shift from the series’ central Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov pairing. Scott and Kip are connected to Rachel Reid’s novel Game Changer, the first book in her Game Changers series. Arnaud described the intended intimacy as “sweet, sometimes clumsy, joyful, and easy,” saying it was “not for an audience” but for the characters to share a moment.

Will the cut scenes be released?
There is no confirmed release plan in the cited reports. Arnaud speculated, “I don’t know, maybe they’re saving it for later,” but that was not an announcement that the footage would appear in a later episode, on a home release, or elsewhere. The reporting also does not establish that the material was cut specifically to remove sex. It only indicates that more was filmed than appeared in the episode.
