October 2025 brought new series, films, documentaries and other library additions to HBO Max, but the dates and lineups varied by country. The clearest official schedule available here is for Iceland: it lists The Chair Company for 13 October and IT: Welcome to Derry for 27 October. The Iceland dates below are not a universal release calendar; Denmark’s official lineup differed, and the U.S. list is from secondary reporting.

Why the October lineup depends on your country
Warner Bros. Discovery’s Denmark announcement gives a different schedule. Its film examples include You Hurt My Feelings on 1 October; several Nightmare on Elm Street films on 2 October; and Father (Tata), It Ends With Us and The Equalizer films on 3 October. It also lists 12 Years a Slave, Elf and The Polar Express on 4 October, as well as sports such as golf, the NBA season start, cycling and Speedway of Nations.
For a U.S.-oriented view, Tom’s Guide’s October 2025 roundup highlights Bring Her Back, The Substance, The Chair Company, IT: Welcome to Derry and Sorry, Baby, among other additions. That is secondary reporting, not an official Warner Bros. Discovery U.S. press schedule; the material available does not establish a complete authoritative U.S. calendar.

How to use these schedules
- Check your country first: Iceland and Denmark had different announced titles and dates, so a date from one list should not be treated as global.
- Choose by viewing mood: the announced options range from comedy and horror to reality series, animation, documentaries and sports.
- Distinguish premieres from additions: the Iceland notice gives specific premiere dates and episode counts for its two highlighted series, but the full monthly list does not establish a uniform release pattern for every title.
These announcements describe the October 2025 schedules, not what remains on HBO Max now. Catalogs change over time, and the available official sources do not confirm present-day availability.
