Yes. NBC cancelled Found in 2025 after two seasons, so the drama will not return for a third. The series ended on a major cliffhanger, rather than with its central story fully resolved. Peacock’s current catalog lists both seasons, though streaming availability can change.
Found was cancelled after two seasons
TVLine reported that NBC cancelled Found and that the show would not return for season three. The decision came before the second season’s 22-episode run finished; TV Series Finale reported the cancellation on May 10, 2025, with the final episode due the following week. TVLine’s cancellation report and TV Series Finale’s May 10 report cover the decision.

Why did NBC cancel Found?
The sources cited here confirm the cancellation but do not establish NBC’s stated reason for it. TV Series Finale reported that season two averaged a 0.21 rating among adults 18–49 and 2.22 million viewers, including DVR playback through 3:00 a.m. Those are that outlet’s reported figures, not a stated explanation from NBC, and they should not be treated as proof of why the network made its decision.
How did the series end?
The May 15, 2025 finale ended with Gabi telling the world she had held Sir captive. TV Insider’s finale coverage also describes Sir as apparently dying in his cell. The reveal leaves the story on a consequential cliffhanger, not a tidy resolution to the central conflict. TV Insider’s finale coverage discusses the ending.
