Her tenancy claim seeking $30 million was dismissed with prejudice in November 2023, and reporting said the appeal in her separate challenge to a nondisclosure agreement was dropped. The $30 million was an amount she sought, not a reported award or payment.
What changed in Herman’s legal disputes
Two separate legal matters are important to this story: a claim concerning her housing at a Florida home owned by a trust associated with Woods, and a challenge to a nondisclosure agreement (NDA) she signed in 2017. Their outcomes should not be conflated.
The tenancy claim
Herman alleged that an oral agreement allowed her to live in the residence for 11 years, but that she was removed after about six. In its July 19, 2023 account, The Washington Post reported her allegation that she was persuaded to leave for a trip to the Bahamas and then locked out. Those are allegations, not findings by a court.
Herman sought $30 million in damages, described as the rental cost of comparable property. That figure was her claim, not a reported judgment or payment.

The NDA challenge
In a separate case, Herman sought to set aside the 2017 NDA. A Florida judge rejected the challenge. Golf Digest reported that Judge Elizabeth Metzger described the allegations as “vague and threadbare.” That wording concerns the allegations in that ruling; it should not be read as a ruling resolving every dispute between Herman and Woods.
How the cases ended, and what the filings said
Herman initially dismissed the tenancy complaint without prejudice on June 29, 2023, while the NDA appeal was still pending. A dismissal without prejudice does not, by itself, prevent a claim from being brought again. In November 2023, her attorney filed a dismissal with prejudice, which the Associated Press explained meant the tenancy claim could not be reasserted. The AP also reported that the separate NDA appeal had been dropped.

The November dismissal notice stated Herman’s position that she had never been a victim of sexual harassment or sexual abuse by Woods or his agents and had never asserted such a claim. That statement came from the notice and her attorney; it was not a court finding about the underlying events.

The Associated Press reported that Herman managed Woods’s Palm Beach County restaurant and described their relationship as lasting from 2015 until October 2022. Those reports establish past context, not her current work or circumstances.

The available reporting does not verify Herman’s present career, residence, finances, or relationship status. It also does not establish a complete personal transformation. A change in public legal status, or a lack of recent public details, is not evidence of a particular private lifestyle.
The documented change is narrower: the tenancy claim ended with prejudice, and the NDA challenge was rejected, with the appeal reported dropped. The cited accounts do not report that Herman received the $30 million she sought.
